If you drive a truck DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY going to Lulu's on Richland Ave in Aiken. You will get a half assed wash none of the overhead brushes came on nor the buffer this has happened several times at this car wash. When I said something to the manager he basically said it was there prerogative to turn them off if they see fit. I've been a swift pass member since 2019 I think I'll switch to Titlewave car wash on Silver Bluff rd. "BUYER BE WARE OF LULU'S"

Update, I have used them since they have opened and am very familiar with the mechanical quirks (like I must fold passenger side mirror in to keep it from being hit) that the tire shine and the drying brush sometimes doesn't work. Put recently the drying brush came down much more than normal and ripped/broke one of my wiper blades totally off. Luckily the metal arm didn't snap back hard enough to break the windshield. I submitted a claim for the broken wiper and was told due to the age of my vehicle they wouldn't cover it and for me to feel free to submit a claim to my auto insurance. Its a 2013 GMC Sierra factory standard and it was THEIR FAULTY EQUIPMENT that damaged my wiper. Between mine and my wife's car we average spending a 1000 per year , so over $4000 since they been with them.

I have been to EVERY Lulus in the area and this is the WORST one . Guy with glasses was so rude !!! He acted as if he was the owner. I will not return

Hello Lulus and everyone that reads this. I would like to have someone reach out to me. You damaged my grandfather’s 2019 dodge ram truck then after we filed the claim you still insisted that you did not damage it. We have PICTURES proving it and we spoke to someone that day. I hope it makes you feel good to do things like this to people. The damage was done on Sunday 07/13/25 and more than one person complained. I would like to know how I can take further action because this is RIDICULOUS.

Always have a great experience when I go get my car washed at Richland ave I had an issue with my membership because of the sticker on my car and ms. Sierra helped fix it by the time I got out of the wash, I was vacuuming my car and before I could finish she had it fixed. I love that kind of service. And Everytime I go she’s smiling and always wave and goes out of her way to speak to me. I definitely recommend to my friends

I come to this location a lot because this women I always see ALWAYS welcomes me with a smile and it just makes my days so good. All locations should be like this(the happy employees) and so professional, it’s always clean, while I wish it washed my truck like the other locations I literally come here because the women is so smiley and always does a great job prepping my truck. Thanks lulus. Hire more people like her! I think her name is Tiffany ! I just went up to her and asked her for her name. And I also told her she’s just so smiley and that’s why I come to this location

Please get people to work here that know what they are doing. You have two people at the front one spraying the car with soap while the other holds the sign and neither one is paying attention. She’s spraying soap to where you cant see the sign and the girl holding the sign never flips it and then starts yelling at us when we don’t stop at the right spot but then they quickly both realize they were in the wrong when i said something back to them. They were both too worried about being on their phones to actually pay attention to customers.

I came this morning for my wash and Tiffany was great! I went through and she came over to me and asked me to run through again bc I didn’t have the right wash selected for my membership because she likes to make sure her customers get exactly what they pay for! I really appreciate her taking her time and making sure her customers get what we pay for and are 100% satisfied! Great way to start my morning! Loved her positivity this morning!

I give this place a 1 star review. Upon arrival, the nice associate walks over to help me complete my car wash purchase. Tells me thank you and to enjoy my car wash. I get over to the vacuums and detailing area, and the vacuums do not work! You charge me full price for half of your service. It would have been nice for the employee to explain to me that the vacuums did not work at the time. You advertise “free vacuums” but you need to add that they do not work!

I have no issues with any other Lulus except THIS ONE(Richland Ave)‼️ The supposed sup/Mgr (dudewith the glasses)and young lady that sprays have the nastiest attitudes! IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB... GET ANOTHER ONE‼️

10/10/2025 Scratching my car on purpose see pictures. "Rodriguez Hues" the district manager is by far the worst face for your company. He doesn't know what customer service is besides smiling. Quite possibly the most unreasonable person you could ever be. I have never been treated so poorly before and told someone was a "general district manager" especially when working the touch screen pay machine at a location I go to literally every single day. This man tried to keep me there because I said my credit card was cancelled and I wanted to renew my membership but i paid significantly less for my membership and was asking why. I said i had been coming for the last 3 months sinde my card got declined and he didnt care... i said i would have switched the card if they had notified me and he said they didnt have a way to do that and it was my fault. Which is true, it was the card i cancelled, 3 months earlier, but totally my fault. I asked if i could pay what i had been paying for the last 3 years with this car wash specifically. He said I could pay what was on the screen $40/month or leave. Didnt even mention the Fall BOGO promotion they have going on, he ignored me and repeated himself. I said I didnt want to but he wouldnt open the gate and I had a car behind me. Literally holding the gate closed like a child and having me yell from my car at him for some reason. Arguing with me always with a smile on his face im sure because their cameras dont capture audio and he knows that. Not letting my wife and I leave to go to dinner for a few moments was was more important than retaining me as a customer. He then acted like he would open the gate then smiled at the other employee and walked back to my car trapping me there. Then he said really nasty things to my wife and I and then he let us leave saying "make sure I dont hit your car" as he held the gate inches away from my bumper and made me stop my car to make sure he didnt hit it. This is ridiculous behaviour from even a high school student, let alone a manager, let alone a "general district manager". He even said they dont pay for damage to cars even though they have car damage report sheets in the office. I know this because ive had to fill one out before, with the same company and it got the current manager there moved to another location because of how poorly she treated the situation. Then he said his name was Rob then came back with an old and beat up business card for Mammoth Holdings LLC (who owns Lulu's) and said his name was Rod with a huge smile on his face then laughed at m. After I left, clearly not able to get my car washed, he then yelled he was "Rodriguez Hues" and that he was the "general district manager" so I slowed my car down and he said "I wonder what you can do about it". A "general district manager" working the lowest paid positions job seemed to not be okay with Mr Rod and instead of complaining to his boss he decided to just treat the customers who came through poorly. I really love Lulu's and I got there every day as i said, it really sucks they have a manager like this, let alone the district one... All of this because my wallet got stolen and I had to cancel all of my cards. It has been 3 months and I have been able to go through every day since yesterday 10/09/2025. When I brought this up to "Rob" or "Rod" he just repeated in a very demeaning tone but with a smile 😃 "dO yOu WaNt To PaY ThE aMoUnT oN tHe sCrEeN oR nOt" as if I'm mentally impaired. ***update 01/03/2026****** Now has resorted to using the older black gentleman (who he just promoted) telling him to change the settings everytime I go through to scratch my rear bumper. I have the videos of him specifically selecting options not selected by any other employee AND is the only time my bumper gets scratched. See pictures attached. I take them before and after each wash. And when they're (rob/rod or the older manager) not working it doesnt happen, ever. My car is exactly 10 years old so I cant complain according to Rod, which is his entire goal.

DO NOT give your hard earned money to this business. I went for a basic car wash ( $10) a few months ago and since that day, they have been charging me a $25 membership fee that I did NOT authorize or was even aware of. What? Omg! Lss, I am hoping this was finally resolved today. Unethical, unacceptable.

The guy that tells you to put in neutral before you go in was extremely rude, yelling, being very degrading. This was the absolute worst experience at a car wash. There was no reason for his awful behavior.

Purchased a Protect level car wash from this location and was delighted to learn that I could get a free future car wash by bringing in the receipt before 11/26/25. I made a special trip today (11/25/25) to redeem this only to find out that they were no longer honoring this promotion, even though according to the receipt it was still valid. The associate who assisted me today was also rude and offered no apology for this, which made me very upset. Fortunately there were no cars behind me so I was able to back out, but almost felt like a bait and switch to get you in line to pay for another wash with no way to back out. Scummy behavior like this combined with the employee's attitude makes me want to take my car washing elsewhere. Overall a very sour experience.
