It's easy to overlook the service component of this station, but it's there and they do a great job. I had a problem with what turned to be related to the transmission. I booked an appt online and was able to get it in the next day. Jake quickly identified the ssue and also noticed a number of additional issues with the car. I knew about these and was going to get them fixed eventually, but he did a thorough inspection, identified all the issues, gave me a reasonable quote and promptly fixed everything. There were a lot of things, so the price tag added up, but the cost was very reasonable. Overall the service and communication was great. I moved the the area relatively recently and am glad to have a reliable place for car service in the neighborhood.

I had my vehicle towed here on a flatbed tow truck after it broke down nearby. I was greeted by a rude station manager. After he told the driver where to park the vehicle, and the driver obliged, he grumbled about him not putting it exactly in the space. The following day I spoke with Jake who was also rude. I quickly made another plan to take my vehicle to another shop. Also, the quote to fix my vehicle from Jack was over $1000 MORE than the shop that eventually fixed the vehicle.

I had a tire with a slow leak and I needed it patched or replaced as soon as possible, as we only have one car. I called a few places and nobody could get me in right away, and besides that I would have had to leave my car for half a day to get the tire patched. So I called Lake Lansing Road Mobile (less than a mile from my house, I should have called them first) and Jake in the service department was the one I spoke to and he asked if I could be there in 20 minutes. After he took a look at the tire, the wheel was seized onto the car and he couldn't get it off with a rubber mallet, which meant he might have to use a metal hammer on the wheel, which would result in more parts/repairs on the metal wheel. Jake came to the waiting room and explained how hard he tried to get the wheel off with the rubber mallet without damaging it, but it just didn't look good. I appreciated him talking it over with me, he really wanted to make sure I understood what the issue was and that I agreed before he took any more action. So I told him to do whatever he needed to do to get the wheel off. A while later he came back to the waiting room and told me he was able to get the tire off without damaging it after all, I was really pleased! A simple patch job after all. He also gave me guidance about which tires would need to be replaced before winter, etc. Jake clearly understands customer service as much as he understands cars. And before I left he mentioned that I was due for an oil change, which I thought was brilliant, and I happily said please do it. My car just got out of warranty and I'll need to start paying for repairs soon. I'm 57 years old so I have been to a lot of shops and mechanics in my life. Shops that don't try to gouge you and honest mechanics like Jake are hard to come by. Jake earned Lake Lansing Road Mobile a new loyal auto repair customer, and I will continue to recommend Lake Lansing Mobile to people for trusted car repairs.

I would recommend Lake Lansing Road Mobil services to friends and family. Before visiting, I knew my vehicle needed a lot of TLC and I've visited many other mechanics around town. What I really like about this place is that I am comfortable trusting Jake and everyone else there. Repairs may not be cheap but the diagnosis and work I've had done here is all in the best interest of my car. I have many more repairs to go but after every visit my car is drastically better and I got detailed reports of everything done and what needs to be done. Jake is honest, a great mechanic and I appreciate his hard work. 6/5 stars all day. I will be back!

Fantastic auto repair service. My car broke down on way to Chicago and stopped here to see if they could troubleshoot. Jake jumped on it and quickly identified the problem which was quite extensive. They were able to take me in right away and had it all fixed within 24 hours. Additionally they checked other aspects and recommended additional preventive maintenance needed. Fair prices and just amazing, knowledgeable customer service.

Stopped in for fuel and some c-store items with my kids, was delighted to run into and talk to a local broadcasting legend for a brief moment. Also enjoyed a nice conversation with the man working the store. This has always been a clean, friendly environment. I have used the auto service in the past and have always found the technicians to be of great skill and knowledge... as well as the shop offering concise solutions to your vehicle's needs. I would not hesitate to use this establishment for any reason.

Last week I had a tire that was losing air rapidly so I went to the closet place I could find to get it fixed. It cost $37 to put a patch on and a 2 hour wait. On the side of the building was a sign saying free car wash with service but I was informed that it's not included with tire repair. Seems like you could throw in a car wash for that price.

walked in here to ask a question because my tire was flat in a parking lot across the street and I needed a jack crank because mine is very difficult to use. the man working there was so incredibly rude and disrespectful to me and spoke to me like I was stupid. didn’t ask me any questions or give any suggestions; just looked at me like I was dumb and didn’t know what I was talking about. he re-explained the same thing more than once even when I expressed that that was not what I was talking about. even suggested that I drive on my flat??? anyway I ended up changing my tire by myself without anyone’s help, so thanks for nothing ❤️

This is my first time using Lake Lansing Mobile and the repairs were pretty straight forward, but all around I had a very good experience. There are 3-4 big chain auto centers right on my road, but I'd still rather go here. Their customer service was good and the mechanic drove my car with me to make sure he identified the problem I was describing. They offered to give me a ride to work when scheduling the service. When he called me to say what work needed to be done, the mechanic was clear, concise and professional. I have had bad experiences with other mechanics who tried to make me sign paperwork without even letting me read a summary of the work to be done. Not here. He made sure I understood what he was doing. Once the work was done, the mechanic did inform me of some other things that could use attention, but he didn't pressure me to have the extra work done. He just let me know it might be something to consider. I felt that the price was pretty reasonable considering other places I've gone. I felt comfortable. They also asked me if they could rotate my tires (fixing a mistake made by the people who did my oil change a month ago) and explained why. This is probably the first time I actually felt comfortable getting repairs.

Great place to drive through a touchless carwash! The works is the best option!! We always stop by everytime we're near by Lake Lansing Mobil gas station. I even got a $5 gift card for downloading their Mobil app to pay at the pump with a credit card without swiping at the pump. This is a great option so you don't have to worry about fraud. Thanks Mobil for another great option!

They shouldn't sell the express wash. After I bought it and went in to say it was still very dirty, the clerk (who was kind to give me another express wash) said it really doesn't wash well and I should have bought a higher level. I could write hello in the dirt on the backside.
