If I could give a negative star I would! We ordered online and had $87 in savings which was awesome! Yet when I pick up the order we are charged the full amount close to $300. Then I wait on hold for 2 hours no answer and my wife gets a hold of someone says they had a glitch in their system and they would look into that. So we are out $87 while they look into it. The next day I check the account and we got doubled billed for the groceries! I call in and am told even though we paid online at checkout they put a hold on the account which never showed up the first day at all! So now we are out an extra roughly $380 till the bank opens to release this money. If they don’t then we get to call back in. So they can take our money no problem but I have to wait 3-5 business days to get my refund! This could easily put a family over their balance due to a glitch. Plus when I asked to talk to someone I’m told I can’t they will file a complaint on my behalf. I will promise you I will never shop at jewel again! This is a horrible horrible process. We would have just went into the store to save the extra instead of getting screwed over and told nothing we can do but wait. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

We go to the Jewel - Osco on Oakland 2-3 times a week. We really enjoy the Deli and Bakery. They have good selection of grocery items and competitive pricing. Senior day on Tuesdays. Often have good sales throughout the Jewel grocery and Osco area. Good service and easy to get in and out.

The catering was wonderful for our family gathering! The sandwiches were delicious and presented well on the tray. The fruit tray was fresh and crisp. Everyone enjoyed the hummus and veggie tray as well. Beautiful experience and we'll keep Jewel Osco in mind for future events.

Hugeeeeeeee jewel osco they have pretty much all your needs from produce to general house hold items they have a very big pharmacy nice and very clean store always stocked to the top they have a bank inside too for your convenience not to mention a flower shop and also a restaurant inside of it very massive store I rate it the best jewel osco I've seen and been too

Our Jewel recently did a big remodel and at first it was frustrating trying to find where everything moved, but I learned that the remodel was so that all of the Jewels will have the same layout. In the long term I'm really excited about that idea to make it easier to find things when going between stores. Also, Jewel now has a sushi chef and it's AMAZING! $5 on Thursdays. I can't help myself but buy sushi when I grocery shop! The employees are always really nice. The store is clean and has lots of unique displays with fun foods. The deli section and ready-to-go meals are great too. The fried chicken is honestly some of the best in town for SO cheap!!

This is a store where the employees seem to put forth as absolutely little effort as possible and it shows. The check out process is typically self checkout with maybe one other lane open. If you have trouble with an item in the self check, you might as well abandon the item and move on. The person overseeing the self checks doesn't show any interest or initiative to help if there even is an employee overseeing. The deli is amazing frustrating to deal with. The employees let items run out and don't show interest in making more. I've been nearly ran over by the employees stocking and they look at you like you shouldn't be there. Well easy enough, I don't need to return.

I think this is the last time I will be using the pick up service thru this store. The quality of the items is so below standard it's ridiculous. I ordered a pound of krakus ham that was split up in 2 1/2 lb packages, one looked ok but the other was gray in color. It doesn't smell but I refuse to eat gray ham. This is the second time it has happened with the pick up service. Also I purchased 4 bundles of mustard greens and it's obvious that the shopper doesn't know what they are looking for when choosing fresh produce. Maybe a manager should check for quality control. I continue to have issues with the pick up service and I think I will try another store's service to see if they are any better. Food prices are too high to get this quality of food...and I in store shop at jewel quite often, so this is ridiculous. ****UPDATE**** This site is not allowing me to upload the pics

Typically this has been a decent store to pop into when I need things. Last night, I popped in and grabbed a bag of hostess donuts to take on a roadtrip with me for the next couple of days. When I opened them this morning, they were super stale. When I checked the bag, the use by date was two full months ago. You all need to teach your people how to rotate stock.

Amazing selection unique brands and unusual products I have never seen but poorly organized, old, too quiet in a scary movie vibe, and the price gouging, o wow! Nothing discounted at all, Kroger has Jewel beat completely on the obviously needed discounts for expiring meats and produce. Staff is friendly and easy to find for some appeal here but I'm sure this will be the first to go in the next economic correction!

The drive up, pick up service sucks. Their shoppers wait until the last second to tell you things aren’t available, refuse to do substitutions, and close your order mid conversation. When you call to get your order fixed they still refuse and are rude. The exact this I was asked was “What do you want me to do about it?” I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt because I love shopping the deals and it’s so convenient but I’m done. They screw me over every week and then I loose my coupons in the process. I’ve attached a few of the MANY times it’s has happened

I've been shopping at this location since 1989. The other day I used the self checkout and got 40 dollars in cash back from a purchase and stupidly walked out of the store without it. The staff was amazing helping me to get the money I left because of my own mistake. I shop at this location every weekend and have never had a bad experience. The store is always clean and very well kept. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I've come across. I've been a lifelong customer and will continue to be. Thank you all at Jewel on Oakland!
