Took my van I. That had so much dog hair in it! Also had sticker residue from Previous own .... decals that were removed and there was an outline that the dealer didn’t get off. Well Louis at Hugh and Jeff’s car wash removed all the dog hair and removed the residue!!!!! Also want to mention that the food was great! Their nachos can feed a family for $13!

This is what $105 interior detail looks like. And it's not even the quality of work that frustrated me most about this place. It's a that I only came in to get a FULL interior clean and shampoo and they didn't even shampoo my seats. I wasn't given a full list of options to choose from since I don't come everyday or I've never been. But y not take the time to at least know how much your customers understand what you offer and how you charge. The communication was horrible. Although I will give the guy some credit for being nice, it still seemed to me like he didn't have much care for being there. Anyways. Won't be getting my car fully detailed there any time soon.

Love H&J, a VIP Member and a satisfied repeat customer for several years. Great place to get some alone time, get the best •|||||||• ✌️detail and the best breakfast sliders that are served all day w/Long Island Tea. I think everything on their menu is made fresh. Excellent service and comfortable accommodations while you wait. My Great Dane has been with me several times and She is welcome on the back outdoor patio. I will always recommend H&J!

The best hand wash my truck has ever had! I travel for months at a time, tugging from camp to camp so, it's always a hot mess when I get home. This is not a rush in, rush out car wash, this is a "Get it done right" car wash. I came in too early for the grill to be open, but my husband said he loved it and hated that I missed that part! Definitely our new spot and worth the wait. Both trucks are spotless! ❤️

Awesome place! Not only can you get your car cleaned, but you get your belly full! We're here for an armwrestling event but if it was any other day I'd definitely get my car washed as we ate this delicious food! Bathrooms are clean and smell great on top of that. Food is great and for the price as well. I'm a big girl and can eat but not even I could finish my meal. Completely satisfied!

Food was fine, spent $85 dollars on a car wash and they did a poor job. When I went to tell them I was told the car was was closed and to come back tomorrow. I assumed for $85 someone would have looked it over.

Came to have my truck washed and was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service and the quality of the wash. I paid $55 to have my F-250 washed, and dried. They also scrubbed the tires and cleaned the wheels and also applied tire shine. They vacuumed the inside and gave it a good wipe down. I was very pleased with the outcome. Enjoyed the patio atmosphere with my dog as we waited. Very friendly staff and accommodated myself and my dog nicely. The beer was cold and the cheeseburger was delicious. Thanks for outstanding service. We'll be back again soon.

Long post!!! The way that the bartenders treated me tonight was so unprofessional and ridiculous. First and foremost, I am a 40 year old owner of two high end businesses in Galveston. I have been to Hugh and Jeff’s several times throughout the years with a friend of mine who is a member. I always enjoyed my time there with her, but completely different experience without her. I was waiting for her to arrive for Singo Bingo (which the older blond haired bartender invited me to). As I went to the bathroom I walked by a customer of mine that was celebrating his dad’s birthday. The dad was at least 90 years old. He introduced me and the dad immediately started flirting and joking with me. I sat down next to him and “flirted” back (playing). We were all laughing enjoying the banter. He had boiled shrimp at the table and asked me if I wanted some so I replied “yea sure, if you peel it for me”. Well this was a JOKE directed to a man that was flirting with me on his birthday, but the older black haired bartender took this offensively and started yelling at me saying “you can’t play with him, don't ask him for anything, don’t talk to him, no he’s not gonna feed you, don’t touch his food.” I apologized to the bartender and tried to explain that I was only joking back with him. She took it as if I was trying to use him, and started talking about me to the other bartenders loudly where everyone at the bar could hear. That was not my intentions at all. I’ve never tried to use anyone so why would they even treat me like that? Then the dark haired young bartender said loudly “oh you are just trying to get FREE DRINKS”. I pulled out the cash I had in my wallet and said “I have my own money.” The bartenders did not like that because they gave me dirty looks and all went to the back together. A few minutes later they returned and when I asked for a Shiner Bock the black haired older bartender said “Guess what! You’re not having any drinks you need to leave!” Everyone at the bar was looking at me and I felt so embarrassed. The old man was like “I’m so sorry I don’t know why they are treating you like that. I really enjoyed talking to you.” I held back my tears and I quietly got up and left without causing anymore of a scene. I have never felt so dirty!! I have met the owner Hugh a few times and we’ve talked about collaborating for events. He’s a nice guy, and I’ve always had pleasant encounters with the bartenders. However this encounter was so embarrassing and degrading I will NEVER go back. This was the ultimate betrayal of a bar that I felt was a fun safe space! Especially because they are all women. Shameful.

Absolutely amazing experience! The crawfish were cooked to perfection full of flavor, seasoned just right, and clearly made with so much care. You can truly tell the chef knows exactly what they’re doing. On top of that, the chef’s attitude made the whole experience even better so welcoming, positive, and passionate about the food. I believe his name Jose , It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the energy are this good. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone!
