EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE & QUALITY! Family-owned Hector's Car Wash & Detail is the ONLY car wash for me. Dolly and Hector are two of the hardest-working and friendliest people I know, and take great pride in their car wash business. They treat each customer like family and go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. I love their unlimited monthly pass which is a real value for frequent washers like me. I also entrusted them with the first detail ever on my 2021 Blazer, which was returned to me looking brand new! Hector's is also CONVENIENT - right here in Carol Stream and open 7 days/week, even on holidays. We need more family-owned businesses like Hector's in Carol Stream!

I have had multiple cars detailed here before, including my Genesis that I’m very particular about. They did an amazing job every time. I had a small sap issue with my car today that the staff kindly helped with. Hector & Dolly are doing a great job! I’m happy to see that they’ve opened a second location nearby. Well deserved!

I would absolutely recommend this business! The owners were such wonderful people and they did not disappoint. My car was filled with pet fur and it looked trashed when I brought it in. They worked miracles. My car looks and feels brand new. Plus, it smells amazing!!!

Let me start by saying I managed a car wash for 10 years with 7 years detailing experience. This is one of the best, if not THE beat car washes I've ever been to. It left my truck (which I hadn't properly washed in about a year) with a nice shine. And my little coupe shiny as ever. Car wash left no missed spots or water marks. Plus having the hand dry was a nice touch. Perfect amount of pressure on all its water nozzles and the wheels always come out CLEAN. Prices are more than affordable, and the actual wash is thorough from beginning with the attendant spraying the vehicle with a high pressure hose and scrubbing the rear. Brushes seem soft and well taken care off. And absolutely NO SWIRL MARKS! My new go to car wash for any of my cars. I highly recommend it.

Paid for and handwash and interior cleaning at Carol Stream location for my truck. Once i arrived home and went out to admire what my 70 dollars got me i was extremely disappointed. The rims were filthy running boards and rear bumper alike. I called, talked to hector he said to come back so he can take a look , I already used up over and hour of my day and didn’t want to waste more of my time his answer is every one else is happy. Won’t be back.

Terrible customer service! I have been here a few times, and my mom went recently. She had concerns about the service and instead of being kind they were rude, loud and disrespectful to her. I’m very disappointed and she and I will definitely not be recommending them nor coming back for any further service!

Very happy and thoroughly impressed with the service I received! I went to Hector’s Car Wash for an interior cleaning and detail, and they did such an amazing job. I couldn’t find one spec of dust or fingerprint in the car!! Incredible attention to detail. The owner, Dolly, even went the extra mile and offered me a pick up from my house when I had no ride to get back. So kind and thoughtful of them!! I truly appreciate everything and I look forward to coming back for my interior cleaning moving forward!!!

I'm not a complainer, and I tried resolving everything directly with Hector, Angel, and ultimately, Dolly (the owner). I dropped off my working 40k mile 2019 luxury car for a detail, and they gave me back a broken one that wouldn't start. It happened on their watch, under their supervision, in their care, and within their shop. I ultimately had it towed out of their shop directly to the dealer. Someone spilled something on the shifter at shorted it out. They claim it wasn't them, I believe it was. Car was working great on the way in, no issues at drop off, and it just so happened to stop working coincidentally under their care. I refuse to believe it. Long time customer (close to 5 years at new location). Have taken numerous high end cars here with no issues ever. I didn't even ask for them to pay for their repair fully, I only thought it might be fair to split it equally. I've spent much more money here over the years than the cost of half the repair. Unfortunate they don't see it that way. As a response to this owner: Thank you for your response and for acknowledging my long history as a customer (nearly 5 years, multiple high-end vehicles detailed regularly with zero prior issues). To set the record straight: I dropped off a fully functional 2019 luxury vehicle (only 40k miles) for a standard interior/exterior detail—the same service I’ve received many times before. The car started, drove, and had no electrical issues or spills on arrival. I maintain it meticulously and have it detailed every other month specifically to prevent buildup. When I returned to pick it up, the vehicle would not start at all due to a short in the shifter area caused by brown liquid/residue (per the dealership diagnosis). It had to be towed directly from your shop to the dealer. The problem occurred exclusively while the car was in your care and under your team’s supervision. I appreciate that you reviewed your facility footage and spoke with staff. However: • Unless interior bay cameras captured the inside of my car (unlikely during detailing), external surveillance cannot rule out accidental liquid introduction during console/shifter cleaning. External surveillance however I am certain shows that I pulled up in normal conditions. It also shows it was moved into your shop in fine condition. • I respectfully disagree with claims of “existing spills and residue” being the cause. The car was clean on drop-off—no such issues were noted or discussed at intake, and nothing like this has ever happened in years of service here. • Under basic bailment principles (the legal duty a shop has when taking possession of a customer’s vehicle), the business generally bears responsibility to return the property in the same condition it was received, unless they can prove the damage was unrelated to their care. As a loyal customer who’s spent far more over the years than half the repair cost, I sought only a fair 50/50 split—not full reimbursement. I’m disappointed this wasn’t possible. I’m happy to provide the dealership report or discuss further if there’s any willingness to reconsider. Otherwise, I’ll need to pursue other avenues, including consumer protection options in Illinois. I still wish the business well and hope we can resolve this amicably. Thank you again for your time.

I recently visited one of the best car washes I have experienced so far! They come very close to perfection, with just a few exceptions. Previously, I visited this car wash during rush hours when it was extremely busy, and I had to wait about 20 minutes for a tunnel wash. This time, I went around 4 PM, and they truly took good care of my car. It was my first time trying the exterior tunnel wash for $10, but fortunately, I had the chance to experience the full service this time. First and foremost, the staff was polite and smiling throughout the entire encounter. They did not give me any attitude or speak negatively in Spanish when I pointed out some imperfections, such as visible dirt, dust, and debris left on the car after the wash. Upon my arrival, I learned that the basic car wash for a sedan costs $39 and takes up to 40 minutes. This is a reasonable price, and given that timeframe, I expected my car to be spotless. In contrast, other car washes have rushed my vehicle through in just 5 minutes, resulting in it coming out dirty and dusty. When I received my car, it was clean overall, but as a picky customer, I noticed some visible dust and debris. On the downside, I would prefer if they didn’t place dirty rags on the car seats or reuse them to wipe the dashboards. The microfiber cloths they used left behind additional dust. Moreover, there was still some dust on the dashboard near the window that I had to clean off when I got home. Because of these issues, I give them 4 stars. Overall, I am very pleased with the service compared to other car wash locations. I will definitely return unless I find a better option. UPD 06/10/25 I want to take a moment to recognize Juan for his outstanding customer service. He has a remarkable ability to remember details from my previous visits, which made me feel welcomed and valued. I can be a bit particular and have high standards when it comes to cleanliness, but Juan did his best to accommodate my needs during my visit. Although this car wash is a bit of a drive from my home, I've chosen to remain a loyal customer due to their consistent service and Juan's positive attitude—even when I point out any areas for improvement. Overall, my experiences here have been great. Thank you for your commitment to customer satisfaction!

We’ve used Hector Carwash service for years, but the recent “Monster Wash” was disappointing. Despite the high price, the car was poorly cleaned—drawers weren’t vacuumed, carpets had visible dirt, and overall attention to detail was lacking. We shared pictures (taken the same day) and received no response, which was even more frustrating. We are very surprised by how far the quality has dropped. Proceed with caution. Adding the screenshots of the emails sent.

I loved my experiences with these people, I bought the monthly membership for the new Touchless car wash. Wow. I was surprised at the results. Some touchless carwash systems dont do a great job, but this one is really good! First of all, the machine doesn't take too long. Secondly, they HAND dry the car after the carwash. Thier service is really top of the line, you feel special going in and coming out of the wash, pricing is great, and I really look forward to tipping and coming back again! I hope you see this Hectors CarWash!
