In December car was misfiring. Brought it to Gurneys. Rather than changing spark plug (#3 misfire) they changed ignition coil. OK. Fine. More than I was expecting to pay OF COURSE. Also had oil change and tires rotated and balanced. Barely a month later ABS sensor is on. I figured I’d bring it back to Gurneys to check sensor because they HAD JUST worked on it. Of course it’s the sensor BUT the axle ‘is also rusted’ they say…needs to be replaced (they didn’t see this four weeks ago)?1300 dollars please. Just replace the sensor. They don’t recommend that. ‘Then don’t do anything,’ I said. I picked up my car and the right light parking lamp is suddenly malfunctioning. Really? I gave Gurney’s a chance but I can’t recommend them. Here’s a hint. Help the customer. The world is only getting more expensive.

Called Gurney about brakes...went in next morning...gave me a ride home. Same day estimate. Fixed... excellent service and very friendly. Texted me a list of all they checked on car...will go back.

Amazing first time experience with Gurney's. Had my truck towed in after my engine blew. First, their customer service was top notch. Every person I spoke with went out of their way to be friendly and make sure I was happy. I agreed to have them put another engine into the truck. They completed it on time and slightly under budget. Fast forward 3 weeks and I received a call from them telling me that they had charged me for a part they didn't end up needing and were issuing me a refund for it! Safe to say 99 out of 100 other shops never would have called back and done that. Thank you Gurney's! I'll be back!

This was our second time needing to get repairs. Yes as mentioned in previous they maybe a tad more pricey, but knowing everything that has been gone through on my car with a fine tooth comb. And yes the problem was fixed an gave advice on some key problems that should be attended to soon, leaving me to make decision. I for one truly appreciate all the hard work the guys an gals do over there and enjoy knowing when I drive away that my car is safe.. thanks for the time you guys put into all the work you do. Keep it up .I absolutely recommend going to them.

Gurneys was very helpful in replacing my brakes. They are higher priced than most but that's because of the extra care you get. You get a full report with pictures every time. I never have to worry if my car will be fixed correctly when I go here. Peace of mind is priceless. Thank you!!!

I have been brining my vehicles to Gurney's for years and would recommend them to everyone! Their staff is knowledgeable, and their family like atmosphere is one of the many reasons why you should choose them for your repairs!

Brought my vehicle to Gurney's for a brake inspection .. the female receptionist was impolite and indifferent. I shrugged it off to stress. The mechanic called .. letting me know that my brakes were an 8 out of 12. I thought this was forthright and proper.. and I thanked him for doing so. Picked up my vehicle and paid $39.95 for their services. When I went to retrieve my vehicle from the lot .. both of the front wheel covers were left ajar, and I had to bang them in by fist .. to secure them .. so they wouldn't fall off while driving. Not sure what I did to deserve that kind of negligent oversight? .. but I'll never ask for their business again. Now the owner is texting and calling me .. back-peddling and meddling in my privacy. Covering up for blatancies which he adheres to. As a business .. you should show greater transparency and not harass customers .. after the transaction. I didn't ask you to call me or text me .. I left my review .. your business isn't right .. to certain clientele. This is fact.

We've brought a handful of cars to Gurney's for quite a few years now, for regular tune-ups and maintenance to more major troubleshooting, and have always gotten fairly-priced, excellent work. Great communication, friendly, smart, and all-around expert service. Highly recommended!

I've used Gurney's for many services - tires, oil changes, inspections... and they've always taken great care of me. I've visited their Nashua and Milford locations and have had the same positive experience at each shop. I like the red, yellow, and green report that shows what items should be addressed right away and what items I can wait on. I also love that I can schedule an appointment online and get a loaner car if I need it.

We moved to Nashua in 2018 and we have been bringing our vehicles to Gurney’s ever since. We have never had an unpleasant experience. Every interaction with them has been wonderful. Their prices are fair, their work is great, and their customer service is excellent. Highly recommend them for any auto service you need.

I was lucky enough to find Gurneys in my first year living in NH. I have now been a satisfied customer for 25 years. Always friendly, courteous and competent service. No work ever done without a review, explanation and all questions answered.

$$$$ Every time I've gone here Ive been shocked at how much the price is. I dont know why I've never bothered checking the negative reviews before, but the amount of people who have said theyve been charged double what it would normally cost is a wake up call. I will seek cheaper options in the future. If you have a lot of money to blow you can come here, but I can't justify 250$ in 'parts' for coolant ONLY to recharge my car (not including a LARGE amount labor)

Took my vehicle in for an issue I was having with front end noise. My first interaction was with the front desk. They were friendly, polite and expedient. Later the technician came out and explained what the issue was and what needed to be corrected. He detailed everything including all parts, labor and time it would take. Once repaired I had no issues. They were fair, honest and detailed. I have since taken all my vehicles (3) here and always have the same experience. I highly recommend them!!!

02OCT2025 Seems like their service is evolving to low quality based on their popularity. My car has been there for the same issue (that they claimed to use OEM parts), only to find out, by the dealer ship and part number, that they are using second hand parts that are not original but rather verified. So now my car is back for third time with the same problem. I really like gurneys and I hope they.do some improvement on quality service because if you don't know about cars then you will be hustled out of labor and parts just for you to Have to come back again to pay them more. I hope change happens for the better ___________________________________ REVIEW UPDATE!!!: 07OCT2025 I have been a re-occurring customer since i bought my first car out of college in 2003. My last visit, four days ago, I left the shop frustrated and a little upset because my car was disabled with the similar issues that i had brought the car previously before. Further more, I was saddened and upset about potential OEM parts discrepancy used from the last repair. I vented my experience in a review online, thinking that no one will listen and that my grievances will just fall on deaf ears and be ignored, and I was expecting that. NOT ONLY was I wrong, rather I will like to say I am very surprised that Ryan (service advisor), Kyle (technician) personally reached out to me to talk about my review and my frustrations with my new repair, They had a good heart to heart conversation with me, we went over the issues with my current car repair AND they acknowledged and found a resolution to my OEM parts discrepancy from my last repair. We talked and they made sure that i was no more confused with the repair and we never even talked about costs. THAT WAS AWESOME to have a business actually talk to the customer like humans, understanding that the customers are also parents, sons, daughters or friends that rely on their vehicles and need honest repairs without the feeling of being ushered into unnecessary costs. BILL the owner really says he is about CORE VALUES, and that was demonstrated when gurney's reached out to me to talk to me. Before the end of our conversation, i was asked to personally talk to them ANY time and i was given a direct contact number to Ryan for future purposes. THIS TOUCHED MY HEART to know that we still have family businesses that treat you like family. Disagreements happen but like family ITS STILL ALL LOVE!!!! and that was what Gurney's demonstrated to me. I will like to say a big THANK-YOU and this shows, from a customer standpoint, they Gurneys is one of the few amazing cars shops in NASHUA!!!!! Thank you once again J. Andoh

Brought my vehicle in 3 times for a “AWD disabled and Check engine light” displayed on dash. First visit was told it was my gas cap. Replaced that. Cost $155.04. Error came back 2 days later. 2nd visit was told it was the leak detection pump for the emissions system. $531.05 for this to be replaced. 2 days later the error came back. 3rd visit was told the detection pump they just installed wasn’t any good. Replaced that again. No charge. Great thought I was all set and appreciated the no charge. 2 days later the error is back. At this point I feel like they are guessing and replacing parts that don’t need to be replaced at my expense and time. $687.09 and still not fixed. Also, when I picked up my car for the 3rd time found my vehicle running in the parking lot. No telling how long it was out there running unattended in the parking lot. I don’t recommend this business and won’t be back. They obviously don’t know how to fix my issue or keep a car safely parked after service. Thanks for the very suspect service and negligent care of my vehicle. I won’t be back for a 4 visit.

I was stuck on the way to work but with the wifi, I was able to work in the waiting nook as they took a look at my jeep. They kept me informed, Very hospitable & brought my attention to future items that would need addressing. They have successfully created an environment more like family then strangers.
