Great family owned business. Hand washed. Good attention to detail. Costs about $35 for a sedan with wax on it. They do your wheels and rims too at no extra cost. They have a loyalty card so after 10 punches, you get a free wash. I've been bringing both of my cars here for years and see Fred or Steve every time, though Steve is there more often. You can pay through Venmo. No c/c's.

Usually I go to this place called “100% hand car wash” that’s near Hollenbeck park, but this day they closed early so I decided to come here. Never been here before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, I pulled up and went to sit at a chair. I was disappointed for a few things that were not done that I was used to but maybe I should have specified. 1. My screen wasn’t cleaned it had several fingerprints on it (my own) 2. My glass roof was not wiped down neither was my dashboard still had dust. 3. Center area I left it empty and open for them to vacuum as well as my rubber cup holder 4. The chocolate ice-cream I spilled the day before was still there, that’s mostly why I needed a wash. I had to call the guy back and took a rag and did it myself, he came around the other door and tried to help. I just didn’t feel they paid attention to details. Not sure if the don’t wash many teslas but every other wash I’ve been to knows clean mode and can clean the screen/ roof. But I guess you get what you pay for it was $27+tip whereas the other place is $35-$40+tip, and another thing they didn’t wash my mats, which maybe I should have asked but they didn’t approach me at all until it was time to pay. I might ago if my place is closed but… only as a last option.

I’m so sad to be posting this. I went to Fred’s religiously, but after today, I will never be back. My car was dented there and no one said a thing. I didn’t notice it until I got home from the car wash. I’ve had my car for a long time, so I would know if there was any prior damage. This dent is near the gas tank. It sucks to work so hard for something and take care of it just for someone else to be careless. I really hope these people start being more cautious with other peoples property.

Been coming here as far back as i can remember. 100% hand wash and dry. From father to sons always been treated like part of the family and they take care of every customer like they are the most important. They used to make my old truck look like new with clay and wax. They keep my new car looking new with a little spray wax. Will always recommend Fred's to everyone. Come early the line can get long.

A long-lost specialty that is still being done today. The act of 100% hand-washed car wash. They aren't like any of the other supposed car washes that claim to be 100% hand and end up having a drive-in machine to help them. This place is not only truthful in what they do, but they know how to do it right! From vacuuming the interior and making sure trash is thrown away, to getting rid of trapped water in the crevices of your car. They make sure that you are treated like a customer who has been with them for years, regardless if it's your first visit. Everything is genuine, done with care, and always has the best workers. I've been bringing my cars here for years now from an older 99 BMW to a new 23 Camaro. They can handle any vehicle and get the wash done right!

They are smart, they don't even tell you how much the service is, they get you out off the car and start vacuuming the inside. Service is ok, but the prices change all the time, there's no signs on how much the service is, one time they charge 30, other day it's 35, last time it was 45. It's like whatever they feel like charging that day.
