The website said the store was open till 9 pm. We arrived at 7:50 and the clerk had the door locked and tried to tell us she closes at 8 and that it was 8:10 by her clock.

Since moving to Five Oaks I've visited this Family Dollar twice, and after the 2nd visit have decided that I won't shop in that Family Dollar again, their lack of customer service and the appearance of the store inside and out is disgraceful.

When you ask if they carry something you should not be told no because we are a high risk store. I know where Im why do you have to make it sound so bad? But you can walk around and watch water drip from the ceiling

Good prices, but they close earlier than the posted time of 8pm. I got there at 7:43, there were two people checking out, but the doors were locked.

A lot of the times they're closed at 7 p.m. rather than 8 p.m. it's very disappointing but I am glad that I can load my money on my card there and conveniently shop since it is one of the closest grocery stores in the neighborhood.

Prices could be a little lower. Friendly customer service. Outside the store could be more cleaner then it is. Trash all over the parking lot. But other than that it's was okay.

Nice place ..🏪 First time ever to go there... Clean... The associate 👩 at the front was nice and caring... She smiled.. Made me feel very comfortable... I purchased bread.🍞🍞. The bread was dry... Two loafs was a total of over $4.💰.. And i give the bread... Two thumbs down. 👎👎... I won't ever go there again..... Sorry

They close earlier than most places. Probably due to location. They have a loud security warning recording that plays every few minutes which is also probably bc of location. The people are friendly but the store has seen better days.

If you are white do not go into this store. Very prejudice towards white people. The attendant talked to every black person with great attitude and smile on her face. As soon as my girlfriend got up to counter her facial expression and attitude changed. She started swaying her head and talking to us with a very nasty tone in her voice. We tried to pay for 3 dollars worth of items with a 20 dollar bill. She told us we had to spend ten to get any change. We clearly saw two people give her one dollar and five dollar bills. Its sad how people are treated for being white in a black community. I would suggest dollar general up the street the attendant was much nicer.

I’m not sure who working when I came in but I shopped March 15th, 2023 at 7:20ish it was three males working at the time when I walked in one male had a nasty attitude let us know they were closing early couldn’t take cash or cash back and we had 5 minutes to shop. I got to the register and he was talking to the other two males behind the counter that weren’t doing anything we were trying to finish and pay as he is talking to the other two and he goes “I’m trying to finish my conversation” completely rude. Stop hiring workers who don’t want to work and can’t have decent attitudes

Their service and kindness stole the hearts of Riverdale Daytonians. As thieves took advantage of such, Family Dollar #4040 closed its doors today (indefinitely?) surely this made no cents.🛒📉

unfortunately the store is closed now but it was never open, every other day it closed. this store made their 2 employees work without AC the store was HOT the theft was thru the roof but managers wouldn't give them help, they remodeled, cleaned sticked up but gave no staff and closed everyday early due to heat and theft. it's a dangerous area as well

For close to a year now this place has just got dietier like it never gets cleaned. At least 4 days out of 7the store opens 4-6 hours late and/or closes hours early. Like today they suppose to open at 9AM here it is almost noon and still haven't opened. The owner or regional manager needs to come in fire every employee and hire all new and start fresh with all new staff and train them properly and make sure it never happens again

This store on Main St is never open or closes early. The rude staff and the store is disgusting /Dirty and un stocked shelves. Hard to walk to the store and realize still closed, so have to walk back home The cashier is standing right there. They make.there own hours
