RUDE ...dirty floors ... obnoxious employees. Stopped for 3 things... stood in line w 6 other people.for over 10 minutes. ..the cashier struggled with the register.. the so called manager shows up...fixes register and proceeds to walk away. I asked her to open another register and she said no. Fine I won't be back to this ghetto hole. RUDE

Recently got into a tussle out back. Rodents were chewing on my shoe laces after I passed out by the dumpster. A man tried to make me leave and feel unwelcome.

This store has become a huge source of anxiety for us as we do not drive and are forced to shop here from time to time. "In Pennsylvania businesses everyone must wear a mask. That includes workers and customers" Masking is required by law in our area. We are supposed to be able to shop for our essential items and feel safe while doing so. The employees of this particular store have taken to not masking at all and not even pretending to care about it. Even management just eats food at the kiosk without masking in front of customers, where staying 6 feet away is not probable if you need to go the the cooler section along the wall. When I was an A.S.M. we were never allowed to eat in front of guests but here she is just munching away in a full-swing pandemic. We started going to Dollar General and again tonight were forced to return to F.D. as D.G. closes early. Again neither employee present was masked. If you do not care about your customers you do not deserve them. Knowing no one who works there cares if they make me sick is very disheartening. Repeated calls to corporate have done no good so I guess a public review is the way I will have to go, along with filing a report with the Department of Health using their convenient online form. This pandemic has shown me over the past year (more, really) that Family Dollar stores do NOT care about their customer's safety. We are merely a number to them. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Good hours, love the staff and great selections. Very happy😊. Btw 25 cent bottled water. Heaven compared to other hellish stores that charge a arm and a leg for a bottle of water. Blessed to have such a nice store in the community. 1 million thank yous to family dollar.

Wasn't the greatest visit due to these 2 reasons... 1. They are currently gearing up for a store remodel that will be taking during the next week. So they are not stocking their freezers at this time. Which means my dinner choices where very limited... 2. Apparently they are in need of better anti-theft devices and possibly GPS tracking chips on their shopping carts cuz there where none to be had and when I questioned the manager about a cart I was informed that the last couple they had had been rolled off the property by store patrons without anyone noticing. Never to return again hahahahaha!!! And there you have it folks. May I suggest you go the extra distance to the next closest family dollar, or maybe try DG downtown on state cuz their remodel is complete and looks great!!! At least least till family dollar's remodel is complete. Thank you

This location has become increasingly chaotic. It seems like there's shelves are never stalked and that they are forever unloading a truck and stocking shelves because the isles are always full of products ready to be put away. The refrigerators are almost always Baron and there is rarely an opportunity to purchase refrigerated items such as Tyson chicken.

They have some of the worst cashiers and even the stock employees were very rude and inconsiderate. I can't believe that most of these people are in customer service. I was pushed out of the way by someone stocking while waiting in a line of 10+ people. And only one register was open while 8 other employees were stocking. Don't make sense to me.. The worst experience so far Not to mention the employees had in ear buds, very unprofessional. .

Employees need to work on how to speak to customers respectfully (and maybe not vape in the store). I was happy with the selection available but good customer service is key and we did not receive it at this location.

Shop here frequently. Had my card skimmed once, but the person was fired. Overall the staff is completely overrun, struggles to stock thanks to customer volume and inadequate staffing and it seems like corporate denies them air conditioning. The store is muggy as hell and it genuinely seems like a bad job, but the staff overcomes it. Great staff, decent store, but horrible corporate management.

They treat me like a theif as soon as I walk through the door. Been shopping at this store for 9 years, not anymore! The one cashier, the only one who does this, singles me out and tells me to leave my bag up front. I have a problem with that as I've been robbed in the past. No understanding whatsoever. My stuff stays with me. No exceptions. I don't have a criminal record and I'm not gunna start now. Now I can no longer shop there. They say it's a high theft store and that's their reason for having the rule but it's not true. The dollar general I now shop at is in a bigger high theft area and the staff there never tell me i have to leave my bag up front. Will never shop at this family dollar again. They also have black mold growing in the bottom of their coolers where they keep food but no effort to clean it has been made for years. Disgusting.

Overall I've never really had a bad experience while shopping there. One time there was a guy who was acting weird so an employee walked me out to my car and she made sure I was OK. Usually pretty good and consistent stock of the things I want/need. Convenient to where I live. I really like the late hours. Being open til 10 pm I super clutch when I get the late(r) night munchies 😶🌫️☺️😋

I rarely shop at Family Dollar, in fact I think this was only the 2nd time I have entered one in the past ten years. I usually shop at Dollar General or Walmart, but unfortunately the stock of merchandise at the local Dollar General has gone way down. So, I went into this Family Dollar for the first time ever. I was extremely satisfied with the amount of items on the shelves, the selection, and the value! I picked out a few items (they had everything I wanted), but unfortunately I had too much stuff to carry, so I went up front to get a basket, into which I placed all of the merchandise I held in my arms. It was then that a young man at the registers asked for me to leave my backpack behind the counter. I asked why. He said, "So people can't steal stuff." I politely told him that I wasn't going to be stealing anything and I wasn't going to leave my backpack behind the counter. I then continued my shopping and picked up my last item and put it in the basket. The young man yelled for a manager who then approached me as I was getting into the checkout line and asked me to put my backpack behind the counter. I politely told her that I would not but I was done shopping anyway, so I got in line. She said, "Well then we will refuse to serve you." I waited in line (which moved remarkably fast compared to the line at the Dollar General) until it was my turn. As I approached the register and placed my items on the counter, the young lady at the register said, "I'm sorry, but I will not serve you." I asked why not and she said it was because I broke store policy. I asked if I could see the policy in writing, either posted or written somewhere. She said it wasn't posted or written. The manager lady was there too and she said they don't have to post a policy and that they can refuse to serve anyone they want to. Now, I was very calm and polite during the whole incident. I never once removed my backpack or opened it. I did nothing that would have suggested that I was trying to steal anything. I was only in the store for about 5 minutes. There were plenty of employees in the store (at least 5) and many customers (around 10). There were also numerous cameras in the aisles that I presume could have been checked to catch shoplifters. It was at 5:30 PM, and it wasn't even dark outside. I am a middle school teacher and I was still dressed in my khaki pants, polo shirt, and baseball cap. In fact, I still had my school ID tag on a loop around my neck! I had just gotten off the bus and was stopping by the store on my way home from work. I keep my laptop computer in my backpack and there is no way I am leaving it with a complete stranger. I would have let them check my backpack to see that I had no merchandise inside it, but they never asked. I left my items on the counter and left. Is this how Family Dollar is trained to treat their customers? I understand this store is in a rather high-crime neighborhood and shoplifting is probably a problem here. I really didn't want to cause a scene and I respect the store's right to refuse service to anyone they want. If this is how Family Dollars operate, that is fine by me, but I will be taking my money back to Dollar General and Walmart and I will tell my friends and family to do the same.

Dirtiest and most unorganized store I've ever been in. Spoiled lunch meats in their refrigerated section, overflowing trash can outside, disgusting parking lot, excessively dirty floors inside, stuff just thrown wherever and merchandise laying on the dirty floors. The cashier was very nice, but the store is in a sad state. Whoever the general manager is needs to be FIRED.

Some of the workers are great like Gabby and others but if you come towards closing time you will get worse service in town. The blonde hair guy called me terrible things just for accidently hitting 10.00 cash back. There wasn't a sign plus to pick and choose who gets cash back is a outrage. This store needs alittle discipline. Otherwise its wonderful

I had an issue with the price of the Bigelow Green Tea Bags. FD cash register wrang up the incorrect price for the tea. FD clearly marked 2 for $6.00. This local FD store needs to have the manager go around and check to make sure all the prices are entered into your system correctly. I would have paid the $3.70 instead of the $3.00 ea. for the listed items, but the sign was clearly marked incorrectly. I truly do understand the issue concerning my request. I was employed at the Warren PA Dollar General for 2 years and this was a reoccurring issue at tha location also. I was impressed that your on duty manager authorized a price override and quickly covered the prices of the product so this does not occur again. The cashier also informed me that this was the second time this event occurred today so please make sure your FD store prices are updated and ring up properly at the register.
