We were very excited to take our new car through this wash! We enjoyed the ride through, most of all our son. Upon arriving home we noticed a big swoosh shape scrape along the driver side of our car. We’ve had this car for a week and this was our only errand run. Super disappointing, most of all after reading the review of another that experienced a scrape. I know it’s our own risk to visit a car wash so we won’t be going back. It’s only a self-wash or the dealership for us. :(

Updated review is 1*! They switched to a new system to read license plates. It RARELY worked for me, so it would take awhile for them to have me drive back and forth and finally punch in a code to work. They claim it was my LEM plates. When they switched to the new system, they offered a discount on the 1st 3 months. I signed on, but there was no contract like I had signed when I subscribed in 2021. Every month at around the same time, I would get charged the monthly fee at the machine instead of it coming out automatically. So, naturally, I thought that's their system now. I bought a new car in June 2023 and didn't want to put it through a carwash, so I stopped going. 4 months later, I saw they had just been charging my card! I had not used the carwash at all in those months and I was charged a total of over $200! I emailed corporate, with whom I had already been in correspondence with when the system was switching over and I had questions. They refused to give any refunds and said it's like a gym membership, you use it or lose it. They begrudgingly offered ONE month refund. I said I will take it, but I will be blasting them on all review forums. They never sent the refund. Horrible customer service. Th car washes weren't that great anyway, but having it done a few times a week kept my car clean. I have switched to Classy Chassis. MUCH better deal. Please stay away from Elephant and go to Classy Chassis. - Initial review 5* in 2022 - Subscribed to the ultimate unlimited carwash. It's been great! Takes about 4 mins to go through, even if there's a line. I only wish they're open later, so I would have the option to stop by after work, but like I said...only 4 mins to go thru, so I've been able to stop by before work. They do close earlier than their posted close time, but that's understandable if it's winter time or when it's raining cats & dogs. The only face-to-face interaction with the staff is when I bought the unlimited pkg. They were very friendly! 😊

Mediocre car wash. My cars come through “mostly” clean if you ignore the remaining dirt around the rear license plate bracket, rocker panels behind the front wheels, around the headlights, bumper covers behind the rear wheels…you get the picture.

So, I had been going to this pink elephant 🐘 since before this new remodel/upgrade. Prior to the upgrade my Toyota tundra was still dirty in this specific spot,stay with me, last time I went they updated the car wash. I went back in May and while in the wash 🧼 the wash shook my truck 🛻 enough to jump around on their tracks within the car wash which was really weird to feel for the first time. Upon wash finish I always have to pull into the vacuum areas where when flipping out my side mirrors I noticed huge scratches along the SAME right side of my truck that used to NOT get cleaned prior to this upgrade they did. Needless to say I made the manager James look and he made a incident report and I was told someone would contact me. After now 6 messages to auburn corporate without any response from them instead they had the manager James call me and tell me that their video footage showed I was at fault but have not given me this footage and now I’m left having to pay a deductible of 500$ in damages they did and refuse to give me this footage and or call me back in two months!!!! I’ve left Allyson their customer service rep at corporate now 4 messages alone and another again today with James at gig harbor! Not cool folks. Not cool at all! Handle your business responsibilities respectfully. I have photos of the incident and the incident report that states their tracks gave and shifted my truck 🛻 and now they will not claim liability!

Worst car wash ever! I paid for the add ons and there was dirt all over my car still. Water spots all over the windows to. I had to wipe my whole car down and clean the windows when I got home.

Elephant Carwash is mediocre. With a pickup truck it is very hard to maneuver both entrance and exit. Rotary brushes are harder than other car washes. The drying system left a lot of water still on the vehicle that I had to wipe off when I got home. Will try another place next time.

Ethan scrubbed his heart out and got in to every crack with perstein detail and he got my car nice and soapy and super clean. I recommend Ethan cleans your car. He put his hand into dirty places I did not know existed. He is the best :) :) :)

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I truly do not understand how this place is still in business. The car wash left scratches all over my car. It sounded like the brushes were going to break my windshield. I’m furious that I ever went here.

The worst customer experience. It’s pretty sad that something so iconic as the Elephant Car Wash in the PNW has fallen so low. With staff who choose to cuss in order to describe their disdain for automatic wipers going off accidentally, tells me that this place has no regards for customer service. Stellar member of the Elephant Car Wash Staff.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. They machine and brushes ruined my paint job. Left scratches all over the paint. Talked to the "manager on duty" who just said to call the corporate office and he could do nothing.

My car does not ever get completely clean here, no matter which wash I select. The brushes scratched the front of my brand new vehicles hood very severely. I don’t recommend this car wash.

Horrible Customer Service. The employees used a dirty brush to pre-clean my car. They left scratches on both sides, the car is six month off the lot. I didn't notice until I got home. The on duty supervisor is evidently a street lawyer and basically said since I left the car wash then came back, I couldn't even file a complaint. The company is run by incompetence. Don't waste your time or put anything worth of value through their product.

*EDITED TO ADD: I reached out to corporate after they responded to my review. I contacted them on July 1st and have yet to be contacted about making this right as of July 17.* On June 10 I went through the car wash and immediately saw a crack go down my windshield after the machine started. Once the wash was done I alerted the office staff, a younger gentleman what had happened. He was extremely apologetic and said “we’ll be sure to take care of this”. He went and got another young man and he took down all my information, took photos, apologized, and said they will get this taken care of. They said the higher ups would have to be in touch, which makes sense to me. I never got a call or email to get things taken care of. Because the crack was growing I’ve already had it fixed but it was disheartened they never tried to make it right.
