The security guard decided to follow me and my dad for no reason we literally were dressed well minding our business and I was having a conversation with my sister very obviously making it clear that we had come in for a gift bag and he literally went right outside again right when I went in line to pay.

I went to the dollar store today around 6:30 pm, and the General manager was very rude yelling at customers... everything start when one of the customers told her that they should open another register cause there was a big line. the GM very rude told her that they were short staff and that if she didn’t want to wait she could just go next door to buy her things. I honestly was in shock when I heard that. But things did not end there, the GM even add that if it wasn’t for us she wouldn’t be there. She said that all she wanted to do is close the store and go home.

I love, Love Dollar Tree. There's something new all the time, the food items are both nutritional and snack food too. I've found gift ideas to put away for later, and things for craft things at the cheapest stuff ever. And the frozen aisle is a treat and excellent meal ideas. It's the best part of my shopping. Thank you Dollar Tree!!

Every time I ask an employee if they have something here they say No. I keep looking myself and 9 out of 10 times I find it no thanks to the rude employees. (Including the manager) There are many people who would be happy to work here and give good customer service. If you don't like your job, quit. Don't take it out of the customers for asking you a simple question. 2 stars because I like the store itself just needs new employees.

I like the one located downtown by taco bell. Its always well stocked and the employees r very helpful and courteous.i give the 5stars 2the young man that works evenings.hes fast patient greets u when u walk in.great service. There's a lady that works that has an attitude and acts bothered if asked something.never smiles and is rude.especially to people that had a lot of stuff and customer uses the coupons.well those take a few min 2 go thru at register.she gets impatient and an attitude.not friendly.but the young man with black hair is a very good employee.

They absolutely need more cashiers. It seemed like there were people around but not a lot of effort was being made to control the line which was 10 or 12 people long. The store was clean and stocked but a quick stop with 4 kids made it too long to focus on anything else

Half the staff had a attitude, lady opened up another register to only help 1 person. Then close right back down, just be nice to have friends check you out real quick! At least after long line and wait the lady that helped me was the only nice staff throughout the whole store. If you don't wanna work during holidays don't, we all have enough stress and don't need added stress of someone that doesn't wanna work!

I went in to buy 2 glass jars. The $3 each. I am in no rush. There is a long line and a Dollar Tree emplyee, "Roberto" says on the tag, starts taking who is next in line. I follow. Again i am going about my business. The rep first got annoyed i had no change. I understand. But i had no change. Its NOT on purpose. He did not voiced anything other than "let me see if I have change" but his body language said it all. I stay quiet thinking if he cannot break the bill i will have to come back some other day. He returns with change. I thanked him and gives me the 2 glass jars. He does not know i have grocery bags in the car and it would be hard for me carry bags and jars at one time. So i i say to him "can you please wrap them in something and put them in a bag. Again he looks at he with annoyance while he has my bill on hard to get paid for the jars, and asks "so you want a bag?". I said yes. He grabs the jars and puts them in a bag. I then say to him " can you wrap them in something or a bag so they do not break" he tells they do not do that. Now to me he is a new face in this establishment. I have been coming at this location for years. And yes, they have done that all the time. The staff is usually pleasant and well mannered. Some days stressed maybe but never had an issue here before. I live on the other side of Maxvalue. This is my go to place to buy things i need. In the past other cashier reps would either say "Do you want a bag?", Do you need it wraped?" Or "Sorry i have nothing to wrap it with. I can use a plastic bag but I will have to charge you." Most times i say yes go ahead and charge me. I appreciate the good customer service communication. But Roberto tells me that was not his job. Mind you the whole interaction is in Spanish at this point. So he tells me "i got nothing to wrap this with". I tell him he has a roll of paper behind him or to use a bag. To use customer service manners and not be rude. His attitude now is full on and he tells me if he wants me to continue helping me not give him attirude. I say yes, i want the jars but he should not be upset just because i asked him to please wrap them and give me a bag so they do not break. If Dollar tree does not wrap glass items to avoid breakage anymore is fine. There are better ways to use your customer service skills than create a situation that did not need to happen. At that point i did give attitude. I have had it and responded in English. I asked if he was the manager and thus gave himself the right to be rude. That was his job. Again i asked if he was the manager and he said nothing. I am NOT looking to have this guy lose his job. We are all struggling. But this bad attitude was not necessary. Do not assume because this location is in a low income community and maybe gets a lot of non-English speakers people are ignorant and deserve poor attitude. Most people that come here at this location are regulars like me. Treat the way you want to be treated. I am sorry you had a bad day, i am sorry if you get bad ill mannered customers, or it was too busy and not enough workers to handle the job to be done, but there was no need to be rude for your iack of customer service skills or lack of good attitude. And i did not go in there unporpise to have a bad interaction. Do better next time.

I wouldn't come here all day, but there are feasible cheap plastic items that are very useful as long as I clean it to remove any existing chemicals. Would be even better if there weren't any handful of homeless loitering just to panhandle.

Is it worthwhile stopping at the Dollar tree for many items that you might need. Very reasonable prices on all their goods.

Went in today to buy a few things. The customer service is horrible, although they do have a good selection on merchandise. I asked to use the bathroom, the manger seemed bothered that I asked, (and I know he was the manger because they called on him over the speaker for assistance) he took his time opening the restroom door for me, mind you I’m pregnant and urgently had to use it. Anyways, the bathroom was very unsanitary and no toilet paper to use at all so I didn’t use it. I walked to the register to hurry up and pay, and there was quite a line. I noticed the cashier was very rude to certain customers and as she was bagging my items she seemed bothered and was aggressive towards the bagging, her body language said it all. I then noticed when it reached to a customer of her race, the cashier was very pleasant. I work in customer service and understand things can get overwhelming but it is not the customers fault for your bad day. Do better Dollar tree.
