Dollar General refuses to fix the front door of this store, resulting in dismay among regular clientele. Frostbite, $ Gen? We are all quite beside ourselves at this point. That being said, it's the only way to buy groceries downtown. Don't remove the store and create a food desert downtown. Just spend $150 please and fix the front door..

My experiences at dollarGeneral here on state is always a welcome one, because cashier's are always courtesy and very helpful and most important they are knowledgeable about the stores products.

I shop there for a friend every Saturday. I usually find everything on her shopping list. We have been getting these $5 coupons you can redeem if you spend at least $25 in a shopping trip.

Great clearance bargains - went to 3 stores. One clerk had an attitude and refused 3 times to remove an item that was not registering markdown price - mgr made correction.

Typical Dollar General with deals, on some items, and other items higher than average. However you're paying for the convenience, and location. Very few virus precautions in place, except for their employees.

Easy access if you live downtown but not alot of products in stock and the workers are slow getting people through the check out process because only one register is open out of three.

The staff here is always friendly. Too often have I come in and they are dealing with a rude customer who is being disrespectful and out of line and they are nothing but nice to them. They have always been helpful to me. The store is always clean too.

The GM was rude and incompetent her name was told as Kim and later found out they lied about that and poor girl on register had 9 people waiting and I said can someone come help a sister out who was visibly overwhelmed after Dm said no there were 16 people in line and two 10 feet away refuse to help this woman and walked back in office! Both of them! No customer service at all

About a month or two ago the teller (a man) stood outside smoking while I was waiting at the counter for him to scan my groceries. He also smelled of alcohol.

The lines are usually kind of long at the checkout. No carts are available because people steal them. Some products are sold out due to the fact we are near 5 major apartment buildings down town and 1 major college. All in all though I'm thankful to have a store close to me so I'm not completely without things. May I also suggest getting the dg app! So many coupons! You save a lot of money on things you need. Household or other wise!

The place is really filthy, with covid going on you think they would take a broom to the place. Also, when they are so busy they only have one line open. I gotta say I never catch her name but the lady that's been working there for ever is so sweet and nice. She is the only highlight of this store.

Dollar General is traditionally an ideal place to shop, especially for a quick stop. It seems, however just recently their inventory has been a little depleted. I'm sure it's not because of that particular store or mismanagement. The sales personnel are all helpful, and it's in a great location. Brian the manager there always goes out of his way to be help the customers.

Half of the store is empty. The other half is filled with items piled on shelves with no order or price tags. There are open beverage and food containers all over the store, some of which have been there for days. The manager ignores customers and hangs up on callers. This was once a good place to shop, now I'm wondering how long it will be before there's a shooting. This is really sad for the many elderly and disabled people in the neighborhood who cannot travel far. Dollar General should either do better with this store or close it.

Person worked just before 8pm on Wednesday febuary 11th she had glasses on and short hair. She was extreamly rude to us threw the bag on the counter and asked us to put away a basket. That is suppose to be her job to do not for us customers to do. Highly reccomend getting a new staff member!
