cluttered and dirty! always boxes all through the isles of unpacked items. the workers treat and look at you like your some sort of crimnal meanwhile they look like their all druggies. that DG is just gross!. 2 stars only because I love DG stores this one just happens to be scummy and unorganized!!!

Clean, friendly. It's always quick getting in and out of here. Decent parking but they do share with other stores. They have their own handicap parking.

Ok, I was raised to not say anything bad about people if I had nothing good to say. Fortunately for you I cannot say I remember all I am supposed to. This is a great store, and it's located in a very convenient place. But for some reason, I have found 2 wonderful and AJO inspired sales clerks. One of which when I went over on my estimated purchases, proceeded to put it on her very own debit card. Because it was Christmas, and the fact that she was just plain good people. I mean who does that? It has inspired me, as I hope it will you. I have been paying it forward whenever I am able since. So remember when I started this small novella? Turns out I would have to make things up. But I have had one small complaint, it does get a Lil long on a quick trip, but hear me out. When they stock, it's just those same clerks in a busy location, and the carts cannot stay packed and blocking merchandise. Even that argyle sweater you are thinking is a lock for the ugly sweater party contest. I mean argyle? How about argawesome.( I am pretty sure NOT a word, yet.) So please don't let this deter you. If a line forms I have seen these fine ladies bounce to with a quick step and smile for everyone. And hey, don't forget, no matter where you go. There you are. So treat others, as you would have them treat you. And for that one weird guy that needs to be yelled at to matter, just stop. Yer fine the crazy way you are (mostly). So In closing , go And try something or somewhere new, and have a great day! And CHARLIE THE PARROT approved this review, as she is welcome in this store! All the dollar generals and this one not clean. One register open on a Saturday 10 people in line. Not coming here again. Feel so sorry for girl working register 85 degrees outside air conditioning not working.

Erie, W.18th- Dollar Genera. I'm a shame when I step in this Dollar General Store. Floors extremely dirty, Shelves are constantly not full. Cardboard Carts lined up in front of the store. It wasn't like this years ago.

The store is well....its Dollar General. I prefer D.G. over Family Dollar, and this location on 18th between peach and sassafrass is very convenient. I found one of my most favorite products for cleaning/sanitizing today. Always find good deals and get friendly service here.

It's seems customer service isn't a priority. I stopped by today planned on using 2 of the $5 off coupons filled my cart with around $60 in merchandise. But after waiting 15-20 mins for them to open a 2nd checkout line that never happened there's was a down the isle about a dozen customers deep so I was forced to abandon my cart and leave. I will probably not be back to this location and will sure to inform others

I would give them 5 stars except I can't help but notice that their employees seem stressed out and over worked. And I have noticed this with dollar General and family dollar. Other than that the customer service is on point as always. I just wish these corporations would pay their employees what they are worth.

I love our local Dollar General!!! I go there for so many things and they usually have everything I need. Love that they offer digital coupons to!! Also all the staff are excellent!!

Everybody in the store must decided to check out all at the same time. Sure would have been nice to see the supervisor delegate some athourity and take it upon themselves to see the line forming and get a second exit moving. Do I need to give you all a leadership course.... Take it upon your selves to do a job that needs done without having to be told too..

Very poor customer experience. Rude management; consistently place merchandise in a "clearance aisle" when the price is not reduced. Very misleading and irritating to shop mispriced items, and be suprised at checkout with no remedy. Ever. This particular Dollar General is not worth shopping at unless absolutely necessary, and even then be wary.

I love Dollar General it is usually a wonderful place to shop. I tell you what I have never seen such a dirty filthy disgusting store in my life. This store should be shut down immediately. There is piles of dirt there are merchandise all over the place nothing is were supposed to be corporate would be so pissed. Please do something about this store.

Friendly staff. Store very organized compared to others I've been too. Staff is happy to help u find what yer looking for and if they dont have it they will direct u to a store that does. The store manager is very professional and more then happy to help and has no issue getting on a register to help Levy 8 the pressure on her cashiers. Overall best DG I've been too in years. I would highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone. Keep up the great WORK DG.

One of my favorite places to go. I always find myself at different ones around the city. The one on Pine St. Is closest to me and I love 9/10 of the people who work there! They are kind, helpful and almost become friends. Overall 5 stars.

Nice employees but they need loss prevention in this store. It’s located in a bad area . I always see shoplifting going on at this location more often than legitimate customers. No wonder the shelves are empty. They have no idea what’s in inventory! Prices are out of control but understanding because of all the shrink . This area does not deserve a dollar general. I’ve witnessed enough shoplifting at this location. I can’t support a business that passes the loss onto legitimate customers

Rude employee. Only employee working. I waited patiently at the checkout and after maybe 10 mins the male cashier finally comes up. I started a friendly conversation to which the employee was replying but as I continued to talk he says “oh I’m talking on the phone not to you.” Ok why are you on your phone at work? I don’t care who you’re talking to or where you’re working at either. You’re at work so tend to your customers first. Extremely unfriendly, rude, and not to mention a dirty store. Your staff need better work ethic and customer service skills. It’s a shame you can’t even find that at dollar general… just like any item you go to find in this DG store… not there! I think there is a younger gentleman who works there .. he is friendly! Get more workers like him… not this one who’s too busy on his phone!

Not the cleanest or the most well organized but taking into the fact supply chain issues and that they are probably short staffed , they get a pass this trip . Some aisles were impassible with little on shelf majority in the aisle , it is wheelchair Accesible except for some aisles . The checkout was a bit dirty and sanitation was not the de fault standard , but again pandemic delays and staffing issues can account for many “ retail sins” . It did have Wi-Fi .
