I love this store! It is so conveniently located in this area. I am always at a friend's house nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful, not to mention they have everything you need.

Dirty shelves and floor and counter even dust on food and supplies you wanna purchase. If buying food check the expiration date alot of stuff is expired. Unfriendly staff and are no help when coming to find things u can tell management is very dysfunctional with running a store and staff. Homeless people out front all hours of a day going to car to car asking for money made it very uncomfortable when trying to go into the store to buy something fast.

It pains me to leave such a low review. I love Dollar Tree. And the employees at this locations are always so very pleasant. No complaints there. :) However, this store is always such an incredible wreck. The shelves are half bare (if not more) and it looks like a bomb went off. They can't seem to keep up on getting their stock onto the shelves and always seem to have gaping holes where product should be. If I didn't know better, I'd say they were going out of business and trying to liquidate. I know that's not the case, but geez. What a mess. When I went today, it looked like the'd just received a truck and were just randomly dumping boxes in the vicinity of where they belong in hopes of the customers opening them to get what they need... boxes IN candy bins, and randomly stacked on shelves. in hindsight, I should have taken photos because it's so unbelievable. Honestly, it's probably a staffing issue but it's been going on so long here I've leaned to just avoid this location unless I have no other choice. So often, it just ends up being a waste of time because I can't find what I went for in the first place. (Today it was liquid hand soap. Not a single container to be found.)

Posting for my mom I always go to this store cause the staff is friendly. There is a new cashier there she does not greet the customer. Visited with other employee the whole time she was ringing up the lady in front of me. I questioned the price of what I was buying the other employee went and verified the price I said. She seemed upset and I had to put my card in twice I questioned that and she told me not to argue with her. Not even a please. I called when I got home and asked for the manager told me she wasnt there asked for the cooperate number said she didnt know it. I guess I need to find me a new dollar general cause as long as she is there I wont be back.

It is almost a miniature version of most Dollar General stores. Don't let it fool you, it is absolutely packed with the same stuff as a bigger store. Bonus points for being organized and clean. Go there while you wait on your pizza from Marcos next door.

Yall closing early everyday due to staffing issues is ruining my life.. I come here to get lunch for work every evening cuz it’s cheap and convenient and can’t even do that so I end up working all night with no lunch.. Topekas huge and yall can’t manage to keep your employees get your crap together management… this is bad for business
