Stopped here at 8:43 to get some stuff at the store and the store is still closed. The store is supposed to be open at 8 AM. The store is never open on time don’t go here.

This is probably one of the best dollar general in springfield. They have the nicest employees. Now they are like every other dollar general in not having a good supply of products but they have more in stock than most.

New Dollar General in the block. It's great place close by the crazy hat and bus station. Great workers but the restroom was out of service. I don't know why but it weird open the store to the public without a restroom.

This dollar general was recently remodeled, they hired new staff and everything is clean and we'll stocked. Everyone is friendly as well and knew where everything was at and are happy to help you out

I mean if you are scared just dont go! Obviously not a lot of the best citizens in town go to this one but they had everything I needed. I will complain about the cashiers wearing cigarettes as cologne because even through my thick mask it stunk so bad. Other than that they were friendly.

It's a hot mess. Out of most things. Stuff on floor. One lady working and complaining she has not time to stock that why nothing was on the shelf. Bought juice got home seal was broken. Who wants to pay a cab to go back up there. Ugh

New store, just recently opened Know and be ready for driveway being only off side road. Heading east, poses problem because by time you see store, you're likely by the side road west of store ... you have to turn around and go back. There is no drive off Division. Overall, nice store and staff. A bit disorganized, but just opened.

I like the store...it's clean with good variety and not run down......yet. It seems when these stores open on the north side they become run down quickly.....no products, items scattered everywhere....dirty floors, etc. What will this store do to remain reputable?

Extremely hard to get through the store. Every aisle was almost impassable because of the stacks of boxes. Yet, many of the shelves were bare, or nearly empty. Apparently, there is stock on hand, but how does one shop when boxes are yet to be unpacked? Aside from the inconvenience, I am pretty sure the Fire Marshall would find it a violation of safety codes. I grabbed two items and left. I won't shop at that location again.

Usually it's always real good. Associate's are always friendly. Good prices. Couldn't be happier till today. I purchased a few items and wanted cash back. The teller ran my debit card as food stamps. I had to make another purchas I did not want to get cash back. Before I could tell the cashier I needed a 5 and five ones he shut the register. The manager told me I needed to make another purchase to get the register open. So I did. Then when I asked for change the cashier told me I need to make another purchase with cash back to get change I kinda got rude and left. Beyond that I've always had a good exsperiace at Dollar General.

So my wife & I used to regularly buy our soda at dollar general because it was significantly cheaper than Walmart when buying three 12 packs. Every time we‘d go up to pay, the total would be quite a bit higher than expected. We didn’t think much about it for awhile. After awhile, we started only buying soda. That’s when we realized they were charging us way more than expected. My advice would be to either shop somewhere else or double check the price things are marked for & call them out if they try to charge more at the register. Also, a lawsuit just got filled against them for this exact thing. Dollar general has an error rate of between 16-80%+. That’s no accident.

Well stocked, except for HBA. If it's because of theft, I'd rather they kept makeup etc behind register, instead of having empty racks. Typical employee turnover, but always friendly enough. Workers have a lot to juggle.

Do like this location but unfortunately they always seem to have product all over the place making it hard to get through the store. They also have problems keeping some stuff in stock and not sure if that's just due to bad order records or if the warehouse just fails to send them what they are needing. Also there have been a few times I've been in and have been treated like I was bothering the clerk when it came time to check out. Unfortunately where they are located does have a not so great element in the neighborhood so I can't blame them too much for being grumpy except I tried brightening their day with idle chitchat that just seemed to annoy them even more. Hopefully they are able to get their items in so they don't have such a hassle from other customers

This place is DISAPPOINTED one! I left my bag on the cashier at thursday night for the sake of their safety. Unfortunately I left it over night and back on friday morning. The store manager told me gonna call and show the cctv recorded after they find out. They didn't call me! I came back saturday..they (one of key holder that day) said it's been stolen. And I still ask if I could see who was it, but he told me back on monday. I did back monday and still the same answer with another guy...their REALLY not gave me good feedback until tuesday I met the store manager and they said "they couldn't gave the cctv record to me". It sucks because I am new here this country and these people not really explained clearly at THE FIRST for me and made me keep coming (took my time). I don't wanna give any business to the place that not respected people!!!

I’ve been consistently impressed with this Dollar General location, and a big part of that is thanks to the store manager, Bridget. She runs a tight ship — the store is always clean, well-stocked, and organized. You can tell she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the customer experience. Bridget is friendly, professional, and clearly a strong leader. It’s refreshing to shop somewhere that feels so well-managed. Keep up the great work!
