Very rude employees I went in and got the wrong dog food agreed to switch it out and the gentleman in front said I could go ahead of him and the ? Lady? Behind the counter told me I had to go to the back of the line I have never been treated so rudely I will not return to this store ever again

I had a slip and fall just before Valentine's Day, because the employees were rushing the merchants out of the store just before closing time of 10pm. although 9pm. is the time that they closed. I landed on my knees catching the Valentine's Day Card Holder for Hallmark, as an old lady pulled out in front of me and never noticing that the floor was wet! Pretty much upset, knees acking for a few weeks with this cold weather! Which is the employees fault for having a wet floor with know causion signs. (Really Go To Kmart, Walmart, Target, find transportation for it to expensive compared to the department stores)!

Generally a store with Dollar in its name. But believe it or not you can save on your budget here at $G. Give it an honest look k. You just may find your pleased and include Dollar G in your fav list

Typical Dollar General store. Nothing stood out to me. I asked for cash back at the register and they did not have any small bills, you would think if they're charging a dollar fifty to get cash back that they could at least have the bills that you want.

Recently renovated offers more selection, wider aisles and the same great people that work there before are still there. Great change to get my basic needs food or other since losing the Hy-Vee across the street

It was ok, it just leaves me feeling a bit dirty. Everything seem unorganized & shoved at the shelves instead of placed on them. Prices are reasonable, depending on what you buy, but otherwise mmm kind of icky.

Love dollar General great store and best place to buy your house hold needs I do all my household supply shopping here and stock up buying in bulk super great prices. Cashiers at the University location are also super friendly and helpful excellent customer service

Clean store and friendly employees. This is my favorite DG in Waterloo. Only down side. Fall and Halloween items are not all in the same row. They have an 8 ft section here and an 8ft section there and a 4 ft section somewhere else making it a scavenger hunt

The application does not work to scan and when you ask, the cashiers get upset and do not help you. I have gone and they never apply the coupons even if you clip them

The store was so nice, organized, and clean. Cara, the lady working, was so kind. I noticed she engaged in conversations with everyone who entered the store. With my crazy day it was great to have someone stop and seeing how I was doing.

Just your average dollar general. The staff is wonderful one day and completely wretched the next. The store shelves are very disorderly with stuff falling off. Narrow aisles, dirty floors, etc, etc. When you need something kinda quick and don't care about quality then here is your store

I went couponing on a busy Saturday night, Devin helped me out at the register. Although it was busy he did not rush me and was very patient with all my coupons. One of the better dollar generals in my area, very satisfied with my trip!

I love this store. Couple blocks from home, good prices and awesome variety. The only thing wrong with this location is 1 employee. I won't post her name but because of her rude, eye rolling, act like I'm a huge inconvenience attitude, I don't think I'll ever go back! All the other employees inc. The management is so friendly and helpful and always offer a hello and smile. This particular lady I'm referring to should really consider a new field of work because customer service is NOT for her.

Also friendly; but, to young for product knowledge. So, where is...? Seagrams? #10073 is awesome neat, like the rearrangement. I didn't get the correct 3/$5 guess no Seagrams & cudn't mix deals! OverPd $3.⁵⁰! No refund! Wider aisles so as to get around stockers or ♿! Not to much merchandise blocked. End-caps with high sales! Not littered with S-hook purchases or merchandise hanging! What's with competitors having 🥤 out of reach? Handicap accessible; but, to cramped @ store #21528 where wheelchair ppl visit! But 428 E.1st St. open 'til 10pm! Food & 🍵, 😍 the food. Lunch 🛍 found here. Unable to find Seagrams here! Just ginger ale! Apparently not 3 for $5!!? No mix 3/5 deals! "AI! Ai aye!... Aye Chi wa wah! bang, bang!" ? - Big Bang Theory Soda = high fructose corn syrup $$!
