My Honest Review of Links Car Wash – First Month Half-Off Promo Here’s my honest review of Links Car Wash after trying their top-tier wash package during the first month, which was offered at half price. Overall, I think the wash itself came out fantastic. It was one of the best I’ve had—my car really shines. I also noticed my tires looked shinier and had more tire shine than other washes I’ve been to, which is a big plus for me. So why did I give it only 3 stars? 1. No App or Online Membership Portal In 2025, not having an app or a login portal on the website to manage your membership is a major inconvenience. What if I want to switch my wash package, cancel, or update my debit or credit card? They require you to come in person at least 7 days before the billing cycle ends. That feels like an outdated tactic—almost like they’re trying to make it hard for people to cancel. First red flag. All their competitors offer an app or a web portal where you can manage everything yourself—no need to hope someone is working that day to make the changes for you. 2. No Air Compressor at the Vacuum Area This might seem small, but it’s important—especially if you have a Tesla. There's no air compressor to dry off the car or the charging port area. Instead, you have to rely completely on microfiber towels, which isn’t as efficient or convenient. 3. Understaffed I get that they’re new, but in today’s world, you have to “fake it till you make it” or people will start doubting your business. There was only one worker managing everything—the entrance, spraying bugs off in the wash bay, and entering customer data into the system. That’s a lot for one person. Meanwhile, the competition has faster and more convenient service. 4. Inefficient Sign-Up Process I was first in line to sign up, but when I arrived, no one was at the sign-up screen because the one worker was busy spraying cars. The sign-up on the screen was quick, but then the worker handed me a green postcard and said I had to write down all my info so he could manually enter it later. That made no sense—the system already had my card, license plate, and zip code, and even showed me a photo of the plate. As I was doing all that, a line of cars started forming behind me. Again, the lack of efficiency due to being understaffed was very noticeable. 5. Lack of Contact Options There’s no phone number at the location, and the 813 number listed on Google just rings endlessly—no one answers. So again, with no app, no portal, and no phone service, the only way to make any changes is to go there in person. If someone is ready to cancel, the last thing they want is to drive all the way there just to do it. This location already had a failed car wash business before, so you'd think the new owners would’ve gone above and beyond to make this one run smoother. It feels like they invested a lot in the building and the wash setup but cut corners when it came to tech. In 2025, for a car wash that offers memberships, technology is just as important as the wash itself—it’s all about convenience and efficiency. If this location improves its efficiency and modernizes its system, I’ll gladly keep my membership. If not, I’m heading back to Mister.

Lynx Car Wash – Leesburg, FL (Next to Circle K) 📍 22625 US-27, Leesburg, FL 34748 ⭐☆☆☆☆ I took my Toyota Prius through this automated car wash and will never return. Immediately upon entering, I heard loud clanking noises as the brushes aggressively slammed into my car. The attendant did not fold my mirrors nor advised me to fold them, which I could have understood had they at least paid attention. On the way out, my side mirrors were completely distorted, and worse, my rear windshield wiper was twisted off and ripped from the motor, left behind inside the wash tunnel. An attendant retrieved the wiper and handed me a damage incident report to fill out. However, they were quick to explain that by purchasing a car wash, you automatically “accept full risk” and release them of any liability for damages to your vehicle. In other words, they’ll let their machinery tear up your car, but it’s on you. There was no apology, no concern from management—just a form to “go through the motions.” I even asked, “If you’re not going to compensate or apologize, why am I wasting my time filling this out?” Their response was that a manager would follow up with me. Unsurprisingly, no one ever did. If you own a hybrid vehicle, be advised: The sensors on my Prius went haywire throughout the entire wash. The hybrid system kept warning me that the battery was not charging, making the whole experience stressful and unsettling. You risk losing your mirrors, windshield wipers, and possibly more. I will never use this car wash again—and probably no automated car wash after this experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about their vehicle.

Our cars have NEVER LOOKED BETTER!!!! Since signing up for the monthly plans, our two vehicles shine and repel water like never before. Florida thunderstorms and bugs, not a problem now that we are monthly members for LINKS!!!! The staff is great and helpful and friendly!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR YOUR VEHICLES!!!

I was impressed with the outcome of my car from this car wash!! I'm on day #2 & my wheels are still shiny!!!! If I had not been on such a time crunch yesterday I would have used the vacuums longer and tried the chemical for the interior they had on site, but if I am in Leesburg again, I'd definitely go back.....price was reasonable for the surrounding areas, but I got more bang for my buck here!

I can confidently say that this is one of the most well maintained and impressive car wash locations I’ve ever visited. The entire facility is spotless organized and clearly managed with a high standard of care. The customer service was truly exceptional every staff member I encountered was friendly attentive and professional. My car came out looking spotless and I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the wash and attention to detail. You have more than one review on here that states that they used your "Touch less" option but it does not exist! After paying for my car wash I was then told they do not have it even though I had been told they do 5 minutes before that. Since you do not have that option available anymore the reviews that state this is a fact, should be removed so other people are not led to believe you have an option that does not exist at your car wash.

Poor car wash experience. Today I paid for the most expensive and premium car wash they have. Many things I was unsatisfied with. #1 Being my car was not completely clean. I drive a ford mustang I keep it well cleaned as it is. The few dirt spots I wanted to get rid of were still on the car after the car wash. #2 After the car wash my car was completely soaked and not even a little dry. With that and the Florida heat the water is bound to leave water marks that then leave a dirty look. #3 I tried to use the little micro fiber towels they provide after the car wash to dry my car a little more and they were just leaving streaks and barely soaking the water. #4 The area where you can clean your car mats is inefficient, the machine shoots out the mat and it ends up landing on the floor just collecting dust and dirt again. This is one of the many car wash spots I have been to and I consider this one extremely poor compared to the others. They need to switch things around. I will not be back again.

I’ve been driving past Docs waiting for it to open for months as it’s the closest to my home. And they are OPEN. The touchless wash is something I haven’t personally seen around town and will give a try next time. They also have wash clubs that start as low as $20 a month and are open 7 days. The wash itself was good seems like the brushes used here are different than other car washes. I went in the early evening and there was only one other car there,vacuuming. After I paid on the touchscreen I pulled up to the entrance and off I went. I didn’t use the vacuum service this past time however it’s always a good touch. Will definitely be back to Docs!

I think their names were George and John, these guys make the experience! Cool as ever and just a good time! This is the best car wash in Lake county. They take their time and spray your entire vehicle top to bottom, even your rims. The car wash itself is amazing, one of the first times I haven’t had to do extra after driving through one. The only thing that can be improved on is getting air compressor guns to blow dust and an area to pre wash your car. Regardless this car wash is the car wash to go to
