The clerk Christina has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I stood in the store with my fuel saver in hand and then she completes my transaction and told me it was too late to use it! The manager came over to help and she rolls her eyes and walks away! I lose money because you can’t do your job!!

The bonus with Casey's in Ankeny is their gas was $0.30 under the local Des Moines metro market. Store is the Casey's new design as well and has everything you need. Downside is the location can be pretty hard to get in and out of especially during busy times of the day.

This Casey's is 24 hours. Not very convenient when there is no food whatsoever in the warmer. No deli sandwiches because the cooler broke. and Lady behind register doesn't greet you when you walk in and mumbles when she asks you if you want a receipt.

Cheap gas was great. Bought ice in the store. Clerk was friendly but not wearing a mask and many customers were also not wearing a mask. Iowa didn’t have a mandate then but still, fyi for potential customers.

Over priced like all Casey's. Aside from that the staff is super friendly and the place is always clean, and in my experience you are always in and out in just a couple minutes. Making it a great place to get a drink or quick bite on a break while at work

The two stars I'm giving are ONLY because my pizzas tasted good, and weren't skimped on the toppings. If I were to rate this location based on service, they would score negative stars. I've gotten attitude before at this store, from the same tall lanky guy who makes the food in the evenings, but this latest visit means I will not come back to this location for anything, not even a pay-at-the-pump fuel purchase. Recently, Casey's ran a promo for free breadsticks with the purchase of a large pizza. When ordering online, it automatically was added on to my order. Wonderful...who wouldn't want free breadsticks?! I also had a fundraiser card for a free medium one-topping with the purchase of any large specialty pizza, and 10 box tabs toward a free large. I ordered 2 large specialty pizzas and my medium 1-topping, and the breadsticks as well, since they were automatically added on. When I got to the location to pick up my order, the tall lanky guy was handling a full trash bag. Rather than ask me to wait for a moment while he takes it outside to the dumpster, he puts it down on the floor and, without washing his hands, goes and gets my food from on top of the pizza oven. Ok, I get it. Chance of contamination: minimal, but dude?! Wash your freaking hands! That's disgusting. I got to the register to pay and the cashier rings everything up, then doesn't know how to do the promotions on the items. Her coworker, a different man from the pizza maker, comes up and gets the grumpiest look on his face as he tells me that they can't stack offers (promotions) so I'll have to pay full price for the breadsticks. I explained that they could just cancel them since I wouldn't have ordered them normally...they were automatically added on when I ordered online. The guy got progressively more snippy with me until I had to demand that they remove the breadsticks from my check. The girl then tried to keep the fundraiser card (its multi-use, I paid $15 for it!) and then refused to return it to me when I asked for it back. I had to explain how it works to her and she still hesitated to give it back to me. A call into Casey's Corporate Office regarding this incident yielded little more than a "Sorry". This location is a blight to the Casey's brand. I'll rarely give a poor review based on one bad experience, but this is definitely a case of 2 strikes, your're out, because I'm not going to try again for strike 3!

One of the most disgusting bathrooms I've ever seen. This floor hasn't been cleaned in a long time - just caked in dirt. Not only was it unclean, but there were clothing tags all over the floor like someone was stealing merch.

Clean, newer station with an easy layout and just about everything that you'd need while out and about. This weekend night had a food need, so selected their pizza just before 10PM. Mediocre service, limited interaction. Good gas pricing.

DOORDASHERS BEWARE: Fueling at the pump at this location will likely see you incur a $175 deposit hold for 5 days if using your Crimson card. AND NO ONE WILL HELP YOU. In fact, customer service at corporate will simply advise you, you shouldn't have paid at the pump. It took getting a supervisor to get documentation of the charges to dispute with Crimson. The store staff was great. Not their fault. But this is the only location around Ankeny that this happens at so please use caution. Corporate: $175 is obscene. Customer care blamed me for paying at the pump. Crimson blamed Casey's. Casey's blamed Crimson for their policies but guess who got forgotten while you all were pointing fingers....me and there was still no solution for the future. I'm actually not ok with that the more I think about it. You still have a significant flaw in your system that has the potential to harm consumers. Trust me...I was harmed not having access to my money that I Doordash all day for, for multiple days. Your stores are amazing! Your food, prices, and usually service. But alas, I'm Interviewing for a new best friend for my daily fuel up because I cannot afford for the universe to hold all my money to play with; I need it for me! So today I'm coming to you from Hyvee Gas where I know I can use the form of payment I choose and use the great pay at the pump features without worrying. I know, I know....I'm actually really bummed about this too. Life long Casey's, rabid fan...

BEWARE They put a $140 hold on my debit card for gas, and when I complained to the corporate office, they said it happens sometimes. I will never visit another Casey's based on my experience here.

Worse customer service in a long time. Walked in the store and did not get greeted. Both employees working were in their cellphones. There was a box of cheese bread on the counter. Order a one sausage breakfast pizza and got a bacon and sausage one. Dough was not cook all the way. Too much nacho cheese and no mozzarella cheese at all. Order some cheese bread and we did not received any marinara sauce. Very disappointing experience
