Pretty knowledgeable on what you need and able to get it, in a reasonable time. But a bit annoying about calling for parts and constantly being put on hold. Then go to pick up parts and see that the store is never busy.

Customer service in this store has gone straight down the toilet. This used to be my go-to place for incidental car stuff, e.g., air filters, wiper blades, etc. No more. After today, they've lost a customer. Went in today to get wiper blades. Not even allowed to look on my own... told to wait in line, and the guy at the counter would help me. Another customer comes in right after me. The guy who told me to get in line then helped this next guy, taking him to exactly where he needed to be, and rung him up immediately. I walked out. The guy who came in after me was already out the door, receipt in hand, before I even had my car started. This is customer service??? Selective customer service. The in-crowd gets waited on immediately, but someone like me gets shoved into a line and made to wait... same as at the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Not impressed. Store NOT recommended. One star is one too many.

Very nice & knowledgeable staff. I've been going to Carquest for over 20 years. If you know the year & model of your vehicle, front and or rear wheel Drive, as well as all-wheel drive & the size of the engine, They will pull up your vehicle information on their computer and tell you exactly what size and type of parts and fluids you need to keep your vehicle running smoothly. They'll even install new wiper blades, and help you install new headlights at no additional cost. Most of the time they don't need to get on the computer.

I prefer Advance Auto parts- I know they own Carquest, but if I just need to go buy a filter or something where I don't require assistance to find my correct part it is a hassle at Carquest since very few items are put out where I can just go pick it up myself and take it to a register to purchase it. But they are great to go to if you do need a part that you need to ask the clerk about the correct fitment for a particular vehicle, or when Advance auto parts is out of the size filter you need.

Pretty dirty even for an auto parts store. Plus my experience with the employees was fairly awkward as they just kind of stood there when i was trying to check out at the counter not even acknowledging me for some reason.
