Just, wow. This was worth leaving my first ever Google review. I called to see if they accept walk-ins (other DC carwashes are appointment-only, so I wasn't sure). Not only were they ready for me right away, but Smoke immediately texted me giving their new address (1725 Rhode Island Ave NE). Nice touch from the owner himself. They're still getting settled in to the new location. Currently it's behind a Boost mobile, which I drove past initially. I get there and 2 friendly employees greet me. There are 2 options for the waiting area while they worked on my car: "the chair" (2 chairs under a tree in the parking lot) or "the shed" (an actual shipping container with a fan, microwave, fridge, leather couch, and an aquarium for an active, fairly good-sized turtle). Picture attached. 15 or so minutes later, my car is spotless inside and out, and it only cost $23. I felt like I had a 30-minute long fever dream where at the end of it, my car was clean. The experience left me speechless. It doesn't get more local, small business than this. Would recommend.

The staff cleaning the car were nice enough hard working and non English speaking. I almost died in the bathroom that was fly ridden , dirt all over the floor that was stuck to urine, no soap no paper towel the filthiest bathroom I have ever seen! I was gagging! The owner said to go clean it myself then go home to my clean bathroom ! I took a fly away in the car. The owner should be ashamed of himself!! His mother would be ashamed!

Really good job for the price. $40 is a bit expensive but they do a much more thorough job than the car washes that are half machine half hand that charge $32. The exterior was thoroughly done with the spaces in the rims cleaned as well as the fender, license plates, side mirrors and beneath the wipers. The interior was well cleaned with them cleaning the inside of all the windows, front & rear windshields, cup holders and even grooves in the doors. We'll vacuumed and all surfaces wiped down with protectant. The kind of job you would do if you had the time.

I had my car washed here today and wished I’d listened to the reviews. The outside had circular brush marks, it didn’t seem like the guy scrubbing was even paying attention - didn’t take off all the dirt. I came home and had to clean the interior- whatever they did, it wasn’t clean (I even told them to use the cleaner spray bottle I left in the car, cuz I know it works for my vehicle). They also didn’t clean the interior of the windows so I got to do that myself when I got home. Only thing I was pleased with was the interior vacuum. They knocked off a magnet on the outside bumper of the vehicle and didn’t bother to put it back on. I had to go back and retrieve it: and it was on the ground when I came back in a puddle of dirty water but at least I got it back. Overall super bummed, I was hoping for better because they’re right by my house. I recognize I have high standards, but the least that you could do is ACTUALLY clean the exterior of my car…I have to go get it washed again somewhere. Waste of $50 - including tip.

DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE. They are not abiding by the prices posted on the gate. They are charging $40 for everything which is fine if they were doing a good job. They are using dirty and old rags, the workers are doing a quick job, they skip your tires, they barely vacuum your car and clean your mats. I had to tell them over and over again to clean or wipe certain spots and the still didn’t do a good or even ok job. I added photos of my windows once they dried when I left. They really need to change them rags. TODAY!

My car was not washed properly, with visible dirt that the staff acknowledged seeing. Instead of dealing with the dirty car body I pointed out, the staff member I spoke with had someone start detailing my rims (which I never asked for). After waiting outside for a few minutes, I went back inside the shop to ask who was going to rewash my vehicle and the staff member became rude and agitated. Claiming I kept interrupting him and trying to suggest a full car detail for $160+. I left letting him know I would take my business elsewhere in the future. Then he came outside and started taking pictures of my car/license plate. It was incredibly aggressive and uncomfortable. This was a solid car wash before; but the new management is absolutely horrible.

They advertise soft cloth wash and then proceed to use a hard brush all over your car, the same one they use on your tires scratching your paint… avoid or pay attention to what they are doing!

DO NOT GO HERE! Well I ignored the bad reviews thinking people are just too picky about their cars but let me tell you that was the worst customer experience I’ve had. I got the works (most expensive package at only $40 so I guess you get what you pay for) and came back to a MASSIVE scratch that this photo is after me attempting to buff it out with compound. When I brought it to the attention of the attendant and the workers, the attendant YELLED at me saying it was an old scratch, basically gaslit me saying it wasn’t the entire car scratched so how could just that one area be like that , and asked if I had evaluated the whole car before it was cleaned. I would have noticed this intense circle of scratches, it was not small - thumb for reference. The interior was clean enough but they left all kinds of junk everywhere else. See photos. Just wow….

Always love coming here, nothing is much more better than a good hand wash. Nothing is rush here and you can see the quality of their products. Prices is a bit vague- due to no consistent price structure or signage, but for a Prius you can pay between 20/ 25. I love these guys and will always support when I'm in town👍👍👍✊🏾

I’ve been to a lot of car washes in the area, and recently just moved right next to this hand wash. I decided to give it a try, and for ~$28 I got the service I’d expect for a $60 wash somewhere else. These guys are detailed and dry off everything- including the wheels and door jams. I also love how it’s a hand wash so it reduces the risk if scratches like you’d get from an automated wash. They are thorough and take their time. I’ve found my new go-to spot!

I used to bring my car here all the time. I thought the service was good and fast until one day after a few hours of having my car washed I realize my dog carrier that is almost $300 was stolen from my car. I went back and confronted them. They all claimed they saw it and it was there when they washed the car and they remember moving it but somehow the carrier was nowhere to be seen. I didn’t go anywhere else after the car wash so you make your conclusions. safe to say I will never take it there again.!!
