I have used this facility many times through the years and always was impressed that everything worked and place was clean. Today I had an issue whereas I put in $4 to wash and nothing happened. I tried turning the dial and tried all the brushes etc and nothing. So I changed stalls, put in more money and washed my car. I did notice posted was a phone number to call if the equipment malfunctioned. When I was finished I call and left a message regarding my situation. The call was returned right away, presumably by the owner and he said he would meet my there in 5 minutes. When we met, the sprayer in the stall was working and I mentioned that. He asked me if I tried turning the dial of which I answered yes. He then went into the building for about 20 minutes. He asked me what time I was there and then later told me that I did not show up on their video in that particular stall. He immediately flew into a rage, called me a liar and accused me of fraud and screamed that he was not going to refund me the money. I was so shocked all I could think to say was “why would I go to the trouble and time for $4?” He then said he would call the police and took a picture of my license plate. Then he threatened me with bodily harm and called me a coward for avoiding his confrontation. He said quote “you messed with the wrong old man” as he screamed into the window of my car. He was quite a bit bigger than I am, appeared to weigh well over 200 lbs and over 6 feet tall. I am 60 and 5’6” and weigh about 175. All of this for $4. I was so offended and it so bothered me for the rest of the day. If he only checked the money taken in, he will find $4 more than services rendered. What’s happened to the days when the customer was always right or at least business owners cared about their customers. How much good will would that $4 buy him as opposed to alienating a customer. It’s too bad?

Easy in and out. Price is good. Area for vacuuming and drying off. Good if you like washing your car yourself.

These types of car wash stations are so convenient if you need to quickly get the dirt off. But a word of caution. I now see brush marks all over my paint. I would suggest only using the sprayer if you cherish your paint job. Now I have to go get my paint buffed out and rewaxed. Other than that, this particular location was clean and everything worked fine.

Love this place. Can put on your headphones, jam out and clean your car. I suggest bringing your own washing materials, as they're pricey in the machine. It costs $ 3 to get 4 minutes of washing time in the bay, which went up .50 cents this year. Overall its well maintained and the trash is always cleaned out. Best and cheapest way to wash your car for under 10 bucks.

I've used this place many times never really had a problem. Bring your own prep, drying towels and so forth. Be ready to go because time waits for no-one and your $5 wash will turn into $10 in a heartbeat. Open 24hrs and I'd say you could do that and campd wouldn't bother you. 12 stalls, right off the 101 at Carmen, clean, quiet, all the machines work

I go to this car wash once a while because it is convenient and they take credit cards. It is a self wash so you swipe your card and it starts charging you every second. It winds up to cost between 2 and $5 depending upon how clean I want my car. It is right off of the freeway and is well lit at night.

Good service. But I noticed over and over that if the time for money is increased by one minute for all programs it would be more satisfying experience. For example the time for the starting 3 dollers is 5 min instead of four you would have time to brush and pressure soap the car without the annoying “time running out” sound in the last minute

Hard to find good quality self serve car wash. I like that this one always seems to be in working order, clean, and has easy in/out access. The one in Simi Valley I went to did not work for me, and the one in TO was packed. Note that most self service places set a timer for 4 minutes for $3, this one lets you keep going but will continue running up the bill, up to $15.

Long gone are the days of having to bring a handful of quarters to car washes. Now bills are accepted along with credit and debit cards. Using a card is convenient as you have as much time as you need without having to add more money. Keep an eye on the display though. It is easy to run up a big charge if you use all of the options. This car wash has a good number of bays available and several vacuums in the parking area.

The prices have increased a bit...but at least it seems that the filters are routinely cleaned or the equipment is maintained. I can visibly tell that there is plenty of soap in the nozzle and definitely the brush, it doesn't sputter anymore, it suds nonstop. The spray wax takes a bit to flush the rinse water out of the nozzle sprayer, but if you spray the ground you can tell when the wax begins. It'll slightly suds for a moment, and then if you keep going for a good few minutes you'll really see it beading on the paint. This car wash has been a favorite for a long time. If the prices go any higher I'm going back to the Costco special again. I like this car wash better because the wax offers a superior shine for sure.

I washed my car earlier today. It was just a quick rinse to get the dust off, the display showed $6 when I pressed the STOP button. I just checked my bank statement and I was charged $15. I googled the company and found out they have been doing this to everyone for years. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau for investigation.

Owner is a grumpy old man. I usually like going here even though the facility itself is mediocre it gets the job done. I don’t use the brush for obvious reasons cause it scratches the paint but I use my own sponge and use everything else at the facility. Owner got upset seeing I was using my own sponge because “I was taking business away from other clients”….keep in mind there were 3-4 open stalls with no cars waiting, and my card was still charging as the time was running. Seemed the owner was just in a bad mood or something but otherwise lost a customer. Facility is ehh. Not horrible but owner could use an attitude adjustment

UPDATE: My credit card said "pending $15", but only posted $3.50 when it went through. So, that was confusing and a relief! OLD NEWS: I just rinsed off my car - 2 minutes or less. The meter said $3. My credit card was just charged $15! Don't go there!!

Great wash no water spots as I get at the Costco car wash. I wouldn't use those brushes on a car unless you want scratches. My first time there the other day. If you could better explain how many minutes for X tokens / dollars it would make the process easier to understand? I did credit card. It would be nice to get a text or email advising of the total charge instead of just on the screen that goes away.

This car wash is decent .. don't bother with the air dryer. Just use the spot free rinse. And drive in the fwy. You'll be fine.

Nice , quick and small tip from YouTube - power wash the foam brush before using, to take dust and dirt from previous use;)

I've been going to this place for quite a few years now. It's always been a fairly decent place but some recent changes have made me rethink. The spotless rinse is no longer spotless and leaves water spots if I don't use a drying towel right away, this is especially annoying, as doing a full touchless wash is the main reason I come here. They recently replaced the hoses (good) and didn't measure them out leading to them being way too short (bad) to reach low cars. The soap formulation changed recently to a pink-colored soap that is way too harsh, it wears down the paint on my old cars and some of the trim has begun flaking because of this. All of this combined with it being much more expensive than other self service places makes this not an attractive place to wash my cars anymore. There's no shortage of places in the LA area that offer a $5 or less flat rate (vs. the $10 I spend here) for self service car washes and offer better soaps/pre-soak/wax and actual spotless rinses. For me, the convenience isn't worth the price anymore.

Love to come here when cleaning my vehicle. Not so crowded and got a lot of space. The vacuum doesn't stop until you're all done unlike other places you got limited time and need a lit of quarters. Here you can pay with the plastic.

I live in Oxnard but saw too many bad reviews about equipment at each place, so I came here and no regrets! The water pressure alone cleaned off most of the dirt and the brush is very generous with soap (even smells like cherries). I spent about $6 for 6-7min washing my car, so if you move slow you may want to bring $10 just in case. Part of me thinks their timer is faster than it should be, but I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on! **I went around 6am on Sunday and there was staff available for assistance if needed, and that says a lot to me**
