Everytime I have been unlucky enough to have to use this Cal Ranch store it's been a extra long delay waiting in line at the registers. Not sure if Cal Ranch can be faulted for this, yet Everytime I've had to shop at this location, I witness several uncouth customers. Maybe that says something about the people who prefer to shop CR's prices, maybe it doesn't. Either way, from now on, I'll do better at planning ahead so I don't have to buy feed, bedding, or pellets from this location. The company probably needs a better employee training program as well; yeah that's most corporate entities, so take it or leave it. I'm earnestly trying to leave it.

My husband and I went to buy a pallet of pellets recently. Alex came out right away after our purchase. He was very helpful and hardworking. Alex helped load the heavy bags with a joyful attitude and comportment. You can tell he enjoys his job and he is one of the many reasons we will go out of our way to shop our local C-A-L Ranch!

When shopping at the Idaho Falls store I found some Christmas decorations I wanted. I knew they were going to have a 13 hour sale the next day and asked if the items I wanted would be part of the sale. . I was going to try to go back the next day but was afraid the items would have already been sold. Erika let me purchase them the evening before the sale and the sale price. Great service

Skyler a clerk in clothing went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I needed a gift for a birthday they didn't have in stock. She cheerfully took my needs, placed an order and made sure when they come in she called me. She THEN placed them on a shelf with a BIG note on top with my name on them and a note saying give gift receipt. I am very pleased to shop where employees go out of their way to help you. I went in for a Glock 17 on sale earlier today. Initially, I was told that this was no longer in stock. However David went above and beyond trying to locate this item (after I had informed him that their website listed this particular weapon as in stock). After searching the display cases, online inventory, and the back inventory visually, David did locate this last Glock 17. We small talked for a few minutes, David taking the time to explain everything to me, and asking if I had any questions. Wonderful buying experience, as well as David being very pleasant to talk with! My wife and I always appreciate the smiles and kind, helpful employees here. Have been customers for years now, and will definitely continue purchasing my guns and ammo here - among many other items. I walked out a very happy customer!

Went in to wonder Cal Ranch to see what was new today, after passing by several employees there was one particular employee (Karri) that approached me without any hesitation asking if I needed any help finding anything and if she could help. “Chandler” ( not sure , but see photo) was an incredible young man to be helped by. Handled my propane bottles. He was so kind. So pleasant to visit with. We compared weather apps and discussed them. He spoke of his daughter. She is a lucky little girl to have a dad like him that is extremely kind with the customer service. This location is very blessed to have him as an employee. His customer service level is a natural thing for him. I hope he gets a boot. Thank you CAL for hiring this great young man. I was so impressed that I went home and returned to the store with three more propane bottles to have them filled as well. This is when I met Bryce. He helped me at the propane dispenser. His attitude and skills were just as apparent as my first visit. He demonstrated addition skills from many of the other employees that I had interaction with. He was kind. He was courteous. He knew his stuff too. I absolutely love these cards that can be scanned and given a review about. Give Bryce and boot too. Keep these young men as employees. Many stores would be proud to have them work for them. But I am glad that they work for CAL. I will return to this location and I will seek either of them for assistance every time. Thank you both for a beautiful window of what makes CAL my favorite store. 2 Boots, one for each of them. Thank you young men.

The store was packed ready for Black Friday sales. The gift card options are a great idea for holiday giving. The purple hat, what can I say? The staff was very friendly and helpful. I love the candy section near the front. We are from Florida, so we got some Idaho Spuds chocolate treats. Nice store
