I decided to stop by Brittain’s Touchless Car Wash in Dundee because my nephew has a membership there and has never had a bad experience. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same. I stopped by this past Saturday around 2:45 PM, paid with a credit card, and only got about 4 minutes of wash time, which wasn’t nearly enough. I then tried to add more time with cash and put in a $10 bill. The machine made a strange noise but never added any credit, and the timer stayed at zero. I looked around for someone to help, but no one was on-site. The only option was a QR code for contacting them. I sent them a message explaining what happened, that I lost $10, and even tested the machine by adding $1 after which it worked fine. I added a few more dollars in singles just to get my car rinsed off, but I wasn’t about to risk losing a $20. That was Saturday. It’s now several days later, and I’ve received no response. Not even a courtesy acknowledgment. For a business that takes people’s money through machines, the lack of accountability and customer service is disappointing. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Plenty of other car washes in the area that actually value their customers.

This is a very clean and nice car wash but unfortunately it seems like half the time I do come here I leave without getting a car wash because of issues where they are not working.

After purchasing a new vehicle this spring I bounced around to a few car washes and ended up at Brittain’s due to convenience, quality touchless, and price. Shortly after signing up I was beginning to regret my decision as either one or both touchless bays were out of order. I even cancelled the membership for a month. In July management reached out and heard the complaints and committed to fixing it. The new machines went in a couple weeks back and a walk around after the wash, I am back as a monthly subscriber. The Razor Double Barrel touchless wash is an immense upgrade and does a very very good job of getting whatever you have clean. Add in the vacuum stalls to get your insides cleaned up, I can’t think of a better value in the area. Nice job here, Brittains, I highly recommend!

The car wash was good a couple months ago, and I joined as a $35 member. Unfortunately, the service has gone down hill since. I have been to the wash 4 separate times over the last month. Multiple times the auto wash bays have been out of service. When not out of service last week the left lane was nearly out of presoak, and instead of doing its full cycle of 2 presoaks, only did one with very little presoak applied. Additionally it was out of the colored wax foam too. Yesterday 29March the left auto lane was out of service and the right one should have been as well as it had no wash chemicals left. See attached photos during the presoak it was just water. When presoak is actually applied in most cases you can’t see out the windows as they are covered. No wax foam either just water. I thought about going in the manual lanes as I’ve done in the past, but hate to waste more $$ not knowing if all the wash chemicals were empty for all bays. I had hopes the wash was going to be back like it used to be in the early 2000’s, but the odds are not looking good anymore. So with that I have canceled my $35 wash membership. To the management/owners if you get back on track I would consider renewing, but just hate to waste money for a service that isn’t delivering.

The doors to exit are padlocks, so if you need to wash snowmobiles on a trailer, you're screwed when you pull in. Backing a 2 place trailer in is a pain. No good explanation why doors are locked shut. And the machine to spray starts ticking down For 30 seconds before it sprays amd even longer for soap to come out. So you get about 1 min to wash and 1 min to rinse for $5. Visited on Jan 6 2025

I was there this morning about 9:30. I went into the right side, automatic. It dumped a little soap on my Hood and then ran one sprinkler through said I was done. And dryers never even kicked on and I spent sixteen dollars for that. I would give this a 0 star if I could.

Worst car wash experience. My wife waited more than 25 minutes with no help or explanation. The process was painfully slow, and customer service was nonexistent. I faced the exact same problem here just two days ago. Even after waiting so long, the drying was terrible and the car was still wet. Completely unorganized and not worth the time or money.

The touchless car wash is “ok”, a bit pricey though. Selected their $40/month offer, wasn’t able to setup the lagging app to use monthly membership. Never signed up for recurring payments, and got charged today $40 for another month. Stay away from this fraudulent place

I love Brittains, the washes are top rated and the car wash club is a TREMENDOUS deal. The only problem I have ever had was that the attendant sat in there without warning me, gave some Michael Myers vibes lol. Next time give a warning!!!

Decided to give this place a try with their free wash offer. I will sell I was pleasantly surprised with how good my car looked after. No water spots, and shiny! Only cons was the rims were still a bit dirty, but as to be expected with a touchless. If you go here make sure to bring some drying towels with as the dryers are good, but there will be water left over. Will definitely be returning and referring others in the car community!!

Took my car here for the automatic touchless wash and no soap was dispensed during the laser Wash cycle, it was just pure water. Never had any issues when this business was operating under another name. I am extremely disappointed, and just wanted to let people know.

Actually shocked this is one of the best drive-through car washes I’ve ever been through. They put so much into the wash completely washed off all the caked on salt from the winter.

Used to be a decent wash $5 for a 5 minute manual wash?? It was $3 with the previous owner. Bit much considering the nozzle takes a good 45 seconds to switch between soap and rinse. Price increases with no improvement in service, and many issues as others have stated. I understand the new owner is trying their best, but at least give us more time if you're going to increase prices for a car wash that isn't operating well.

This used to be a run down car wash, britains bought it and renovated and at first it was amazing but it’s quickly going down hill. Their machines are broken a lot of the time and it stinks driving 30 minutes from another town to show up and see the machines aren’t working. Just today 1 of their bays credit card reader was out and then 1 lane of their touchless drive though the pay terminal was completely shut down leading to a back up of cars since only 1 lane was open. They also appear to never have anyone on staff

I had a great experience at Brittain’s Touchless Car Wash. The wash did an excellent job removing salt and left my car looking clean overall. Since I’m coming from out of state, it’s nice to know I can rely on this place whenever I’m in the area. For a touchless wash that focuses on pressure washing and foam, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do—and it does it well. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m nearby.
