Placed an order on a sofa and put 10% down, specifically asked if we changed our minds because of the 2 month wait could we get our money back and agent said yes. We decided not to wait so we went back to cancel the order and some bearded guy told us he was charging us 5$ to cancel so I got upset and he began telling me to shut up. Here is a guy threatening to steal 5$ (small amount but the principal matters) from me and thinks he has the right to tell me to shut up? Never setting foot in Big Lots ever again!!!

Prices were higher than I remembered. Haven't shipped there in a couple of years because I am partially disabled. They don't have electric carts. I purchased one recently so I was looking for a cabinet for my kitchen. They did not have any, but I bought a couple plant pots.

Today I was looking for sale?water for my sister (2/$5) 24 bottles. They had the sale item plus I found a seasonal gift pillow on sale and an assortment of Hot Wheelsfor my Grandson. Normally my husband and I find snacks there too at reasonable prices.

Went into Big Lots this evening at around 8:30 PM. When I finally decided on my purchase no one was willing to help. Shayna said her back was hurting and couldn’t help and the Manager Candi had already gone to the office to count the cash. No one was willing to help. We offered to wait and they still refused to help. I’m not sure what this world is coming to but I can assure you if this were my store they would both be looking for a new place of employment.

As we entered the Panama City Big Lots, a female Cashier was at the entrance smoking a cigarette. We entered the Store and there wasn't any Store Employees at any of the checkout registers nor in the front. We shopped and went to checkout...that same female Employee checked us out. She informed us that she is a new Employee upon her lack to answer a question about store return policy. The Employee was somewhat polite. The issue is the smoking a cigarette at the entrance. Customers that have medical respiratory issues are at risk, also second-hand smoke is unhealthy and Customers that do not smoke do not desire to be attacked by cigarette smoke at the Store entrance especially by an Employee. Hoping Management will correct this issue. Working publicly requires humility and dedication.

They have more then what I was expecting them to have.. NO joke. everything I need in food, drinks, animal care , animal food and all extras I didn't know I needed. lol. yet could afford to buy there. all furniture is beautiful , down to pillows, and the people working are NOT fake and VERY polite> That's rare today. THANK YOU for coming here! it might be slow right now but just wait till word gets out. with 20 new projects coming to Callaway FL WE have Longhorns in front of you YAY! about to open too and from what i'm told, a 5 star 'Culver's'

This place is awesome they have a big selection fairly reasonable with their prices but I found out they do not take food stamps I don't know why but they don't. Update to their prices now, Aug '22' they have went skyward and not at all fair. I stopped going because of it.

Store manager day shift, Panama City Fl 23rd street store has the nasty attitude with her employees. Standing in a long line with register open the nice cashier radioed for help and as another employee walked up she asked if she had clocked in yet nicely and the manager snapped at her very very rudely and loud making everyone inline complain about how rude she was. 12-19-2023 date

I gave 2 stars to be generous. I've been trying to buy something for the longest time, everytime I enter the store there is NO SALES REPRESENTATIVE to assist me. Literally none! They are grossly understaffed. Like 2 or 3 persons only. The problem is NONE are available. It's not like I see them assisting other customers. Nope! The two star is only because Andrew (I think that was his name) the cashier tried to call a guy who was standing in the section to find out if what I wanted was in stock. The guy was on the phone he also couldn't attend to me. Crazy. Begging to spend my money. P.S. I visited 3 times.

It is a nice place to buy. I was so surprised they have very nice furniture at very decent prices. The only thing is that either they are very busy or very short of staff or both because it took me like 30 minutes of wait for someone to help me. But staff was nice, kind and very helpful.

Nice place with great prices. Well, the prices are hit and miss. You can find great deals there and the sales they have are hard to beat. They have nice furniture and beds as well. They also do a leasing option I believe. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I lost my new cell phone there and after talking with one person it was back in my hands in mins. You can even get nice outdoor pools for the summer time. Great family place and is a (BIG) LOT(S) bigger inside than it looks.

I love this place. The other Big Lots I've been in any other cities and states should strive to measure up to this one. They are clean and well-organized and the staff is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. I've been in several times and the six weeks I've been here, the merchandise for the most part is good quality and reasonably priced and the staff well-trained. My only complaint on my last visit was the cashier spent several minutes chatting with the customer in front of me and since I was in a really big hurry I was a bit annoyed. It is fine to be friendly and make the customers feel welcome but when you see someone standing there waiting, tapping their foot, ask her if you may finish the conversation later and move on to the next customer. But, they get five stars.

Went into Big Lots looking for gift bags after wasting time looking other places. The cashier greeted me and pointed towards the item needed. Big Lots had the perfect size bags 25% off and enough to satisfy the need for 90 bags. This store has consistently came through for us. Recommend this place for a first stop and not later like we did.

Well everyone earlier tonight I went to the store closing of the Nationwide shutdown of Big Lots including this location along with the recently opened a couple of years ago Callaway, Florida location, they have some good deals and sadly the rest junk, the guy who rung me up was very nice, and was optimistic about the company hopefully finding a buyer, I wish them luck, but unfortunately this is the end of the line, me and my family have been shopping at Big Lots for years far back as the Metro Atlanta locations! 👍🏻

I bought Ensure drinks that were over 2 months out of date and it made both myself and my boyfriend sick. Why are there products on their shelves this far out of date?? All I can say is thank goodness it didn't happen to an elderly or sick person or it could've really hurt them!
