On Nov/25/23 I was traveling and caught a flat tire so I pulled over to Casey gas station and a nice young lady was getting gas and she saw me and immediately came to help me change the tire.. I never got her name but we got to talking and she told me that she actually was the manager at Auto Zone in Cedar Falls, Iowa.. I thank goodness for this lady cause insurance company said it would be like 2 hrs at the least!!! She definitely deserves a raise

I went to get a part for my car I thought it was one thing and the manager asked me some questions and said I needed something else so I believed him and the guy that was fixing my car said yes that part I had was no good after looking at it and the part I got from them was exactly what I needed. Thank you for asking me the right questions

This Autozone has amazing people working at it. Everyone was so nice and willing to help. I broke down passing through Cedar Falls. The front hub was grinding, so I needed to replace it before proceeding with my trip. The hub wouldn’t be available until the next day. So Ryan Debore brought tools from his home that would make the job easier for me. I have a decent amount of road tools and with sweat and blood I would’ve likely gotten by with what I had. But what he brought made the task a piece of cake. All except the dang snap ring. The SuperDuty has a special tool for this and nobody had anything that would make it easy. Ryan even had a tool rushed over from another Autozone in Waterloo that I bought, but it really didn’t help. In the end, he helped me and with some of his tools, we got it off. And then later, back on (another fight). This turned out to be a chore that either I wouldn’t have been able to complete until I had the right snap ring pliers brought to me or had it towed to a shop had Ryan not gave me an assist. I will be forever grateful to him and this Autozone!!

The staff was so helpful!! They were quick to ask what we needed!! They even gave me a discount because they didn’t have the battery I wanted. But they need some heat in that building, they have excellent costumer service without any heat in the building, not fair!!

The workers here are some of the nicest people! They were so happy to install my car battery in -10 degree weather. Jay’s fingers were shaking and so numb he was dropping the bolts yet he never stopped! Being away from home with car issues is scary but Jay came to my rescue! Thank you Jay!!

One of the bulbs for my turn signal was out and I am car illiterate... I was told it was a simple fix and I could probably figure it out on my own but I was nervous. I ordered a bulb for pickup and when I came to get it Mike overheard that I was going to try to figure out how to install it myself. He quickly jumped in and took care of it for me, which was nice because I was still in my work clothes. What probably would have taken me 5 to 10 minutes trying to overanalyze and figure out myself he did in 30 seconds. That was so nice of him and definitely not a job requirement. Above and beyond! He saved me from a lot of stress. What a good man!

Went in to get a new air filter and wasn’t sure on every detail of my car that was needed to look up what air filter my car needed. An employee was asking me some questions about my car and was visibly frustrated with me. This isn’t what I’m mad about or what made my experience bad. What did do that was when another coworker was trying to help me. The previously mentioned employee made a snide comment about me not knowing anything about my car. There was lack of professionalism and a lack of effort from the employee to help me figure out the missing information.

I stopped in Monday to this location (needless to say I’m not from here) I needed a headlight come to find out it was 120 bucks but I didn’t have enough so the nice lady Marylynn gave it to me for 50 bucks cash she said I can’t bring it back but I was so grateful for her. My gas cap busted apart with part of it stuck in the fuel neck. I tried everything and couldn't get it, so I stopped at Auto Zone in Cedar Falls on University. I needed help and a new gas cap, and Vick and Marilyn were amazing help! They turned my crap day around for me and I will never go anywhere else again for any of my vehicle needs. AutoZone was so helpful! I was several hours from home and stopped in to the Cedar Falls AutoZone after my check engine light came on. They did a diagnostic check and gave me advice on what was wrong and where to go on a weekend to fix it. Thank you Nikolas for the help.
