I'm pretty upset this business hasn't reported and has the growing homeless encampment in their parking lot cleared. The city says since it's a private property, only the businesses can report it to have it cleared. And the issue is these homeless are damaging vehicles, stealing stuff, doing drugs in public in front of children, and worse. You can hardly walk through the parking lot and feel safe during the day, let alone at night. The store manager can easily report the illegal encampment in only five minutes on the report Escondido app. If they care at all about their paying customers they would.

I come to this albertsons alot and this is not my first time complaining about this my first reveiw was on yelp. With that being said...these guys meat department is unsanitary!!! It is a health hazard! This is just what we can see from the front...who could only imagine what lies behind the scenes. So im boycotting albertsons and going to ralphs! Oh did i mention i called the district manager already about this the first time but that didnt seem to help.

The grocery is fine but the same male cashier has been REPEATEDLY rude to me when I’m just trying to buy groceries. Seems fine when I’m there with my husband, though. So i say - women beware! Don’t come alone— Unless you want to be treated poorly by an angry white man!

I really like this Albertsons. It's clean and organized. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. There is a security guard who the other day took the time to smile at my son and get on his knees and have a good ole conversation, which, as a parent, I really appreciated that gesture of kindness. Prices are affordable. Easy to find things.

If i could give this store 0 stars i would! don't get me wrong the AC is nice when it's hot outside, the starbucks drinks are well made and refreshing. However i do not appreciate the rude service from Mindy. A few days ago i went in for a couple groceries, Mindy would often raise her voice at multiple customers in line, cough in her hands, and just overall made my checkout feel rushed and disturbing. When i got home my bags and my items smelled like cigarettes, I tried to call the store to file a complaint and i recall her voice over the phone and she insisted saying she was the manager and hung up! I am seriously frustrated and disappointed since i have always been a loyal customer here!

Accessibility: accessible/disabled parking up front with ramps to get up to the sidewalk. Motion-activated doors to enter and motorized shopping carts available and charged! Experience: this grocery store feels much larger than other grocery stores in Escondido. The isles are pretty wide, well lit inside, the lines for check out have red squares on the floor to encourage social distancing, and they have a lot of everything you need. I needed tampons and I was happy to see they actually sell Cora Cups! I bought one of those instead of tampons.

This morning at 6:51 AM I walked in to the supermarket approaching the electric cart that are free of use for customers. I know they have multiple, but there was only one when I sat there and flip the switch and it wasn’t turning on the manager looked at me, ignored me & walked away to go stock candy. so then I asked the manager Katherine if it’s working or if they have one that’s charged so she walked away as she’s telling me go ahead and sit on it and goes to stock more candy as if my pants are made of rechargeable material. So now my girlfriend who has a fractured foot is wobbling around the store, dodging obstacles, such as pallets laid out everywhere shopping cart full of everything mixed laying everywhere and all the boxes on the floor. one thing for sure two things for certain I haven’t experience this at Vallarta supermarket.

After I unloaded all of my groceries (mostly frozen & refrigerated food items), at my local Albertson’s yesterday, and waited 15 minutes for the lady in front of me & the cashier to finish chatting and complete the purchase; I decided to inquire about how much longer they were going to be…since my items were melting. They both turned my way and said (rather rudely!), they didn’t know how much longer it was going to take! My patience was wearing thin so I finally picked up all my dripping-wet items and went to a different cashier. But before I could finish getting my items back-and-forth, from one line to the only, other, open cashier, a man cut in front of me & began adding HIS items to the conveyor belt! At that point I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that the manager was, “on the floor and couldn’t be reached.” So again, I had to move my items to a 3rd register; where a very nice lady (who told me she has worked there for decades), opened a register & rung me up.

I've been going to vons for some time but decided to go to Albertsons to get roasted chicken which vons doesn't offer. I love Albertsons now. Store is much bigger and offers way more items and reasonable prices

This place is a cesspool for all the worst brands that are offered in grocery stores and if you want to buy something healthy, they charge you extra for it here versus their other store locations somehow it’s an inconvenience to offer healthy food, organics, grass, fed beef, anything that you would want to actually eat for an optimal diet cost extra at this location. This is BS. They don’t care about their customers health.

I just moved in the area and supposed by the size of this store, also great surprise to find everything I was trying to buy. I picked up a birthday cake that was made beautiful just the way my son want it and tasted great not only sweetener but flavored. Staff are helpful eventough the store was busy both times I've been there. Good experience.
