I had previously bought some items for a craft project. A total of 38 items!! I read My receipt & No Refunds! But, there are those who have no problem finding 38 items for exchange!!! The girls working we're great about taking the time to count & allow Me to exchange it out. I am sorry it was 1 of the girls break time when I checked out. The line behind Me was at least 6 deep!! But, they're always helpful & You sure can't go wrong with spending $1.00! I'm happy!! 👍

I came in to dollar tree, and there was a long line. I stood in line and waited as I approach the register I was greeted by a very sweet girl named Mysti. She did apologize for the long wait I did let her know that it was OK and it was her first day and she did an amazing job making sure all my needs were met, and even though there was a long line and she was the only one at the register, she still had a very positive attitude with a smile on her face, and for that I am rating her five stars

I was there this morning and they had the music at full blast. The music selection was horrible with very vulgar words. This is a store were families go with kids. I have taken my kids here to choose a snack before and I would hate walking in to them hearing a song talking about sex or vulgar words. Very disappointed.

I love this store for the value of greeting cards and selection. It also carries a nice selection of seasonal items. However, the last two visits, I've encountered issues with the staff. One cashier carelessly rung up multiple items which I didn't purchase. She scanned one item 3 times by not moving it away from scanner. So, check your receipt and watch cashiers and register carefully when checking out. It's a real hassle to return for an adjustment although I did call manager to complain and she acknowledged the issue and asked me to return for a refund. Last week I purchased 2 plastic, reusable 12 cup containers. When I got home and washed them, one had a crack and leaked on my counter. I was near store today, I had my receipt so I thought I'd stop in for an exchange. The cashier called Amanda regarding exchange which is odd anyway. (Amanda is not the manager). AMANDA stated, and I quote " This wasn't broken when you bought it. You broke it when you washed it." I was quite taken aback with her audacity. I don't know who she thinks she is but omnipotent isn't it. I told her it leaked when I washed it. She continued to insist I broke it! Well I got angry, raised my voice, and asked if she was calling me a liar." Some people get a little authority and it goes to their head. She is a terrible representative of this nice store. I hope you don't have to interact with Amanda who totally lacks any knowledge of customer service and goodwill and thinks she knows it all. I visited today, October 14, 2022. I hope management sees this post and explains to Amanda that her assumptions are totally out of line. Really peeved!

The man at the counter was the only employee working. He was kind and tried to communicate to the manager who seemed to brush him off. he had to tend the register as he reasonably didn’t have time to help us when there was an unending line that was his responsibility to run. the manager was at the store in the office unwilling to help him cover the register or the us the customers. This was very frustrating as we waited for some sort of help as the product we wanted to check on would have been in the back and there for we didn’t feel permitted to just go wherever we pleased and assumed that was a place for employees. We had to leave due to this and to be honest, not too happy as one can expect. I would hope either better leadership or coverage by this location as it’s effecting the experience and the ability to shop at this store.

If I could rate this store zero stars I would. It is extremely dysfunctional. There's only one cashier. The manager is very disrespectful and does not help even when she knows that her employees need help. She then takes it upon herself to criticize her employees like if it's their fault. The reason why that there's a long line. I feel very sorry for the employees that have to work there

I bought a bunch of seeds in about 68 quantity and had to wait for the young girl cashier to scan the same seed packet 68 times. I decided adhere to she scanned 3 more items that I didn’t want the 3 items at 1.25 as I thought they were 1.00. The lady manager came out and asked why there was such a long line. I got blamed for the long line with the reason “customer changed her mind” from the male manager who had to override the system to take off the 3 items I didn’t want…. So the real reason why there was such a long line was not because of my changing my mind. It was because she took forever to scan the same item 68 times….. the store should really show their cashiers how to do quantity check out vs blaming me for the long line caused. :(

This dollar tree is almost always unorganized and out stock. If it is in stock boxes are everywhere, I went in 2 days ago and it was just a complete mess eventhough they did have adequate staffing in the store.

When you just need to do some touch-up painting and don't want to spend $30 -$40 on brush, roller, drop cloth, and tray... Just spend $6.25. Then don't even waste time cleaning. Just throw it out.

I came in at the store on July 27th 2024 and was not having a good day myself personally. I bought a few things including some holy candles as I tend to run out quite a lot. I buy these candles all the time and for the first time today Melissa at the cash register was kind enough to wrap them for me without me even requesting it. She has been so friendly and careful with the holy candles that honestly it was the thing that really made my day. Melissa, if you are reading this, thank you so much for being kind and brightening up my day.

I buy crossword books there when I can find them. Books are always a mess. Tons of soduku and words each. Hard to find crosswords. Rarely new editions. Hate the raise in prices, but I do understand why it's happening.

This is Gotta be my worst experience here. I waited 30 minutes to 45 minutes in line. They only had one register open. It’s the holiday seasons, and I want to buy a gift card and they tell me their managers on lunch break and that they can sell me the gift cards. I was extremely upset and I have horrible customer service while the manager was eating lunch and staring at me through the window disgusting.

Came here to buy dish soap and one of the electric toothbrushes that I saw here the other day, yet the lazy toxic karen manager refused to get more from the back to restock these basic essential items and instead gave me a crappy attitude for which she now needs to be removed. No excuse for a billion dollar corporation not to have proper supplies in stock, as they have more than the resources available to ensure their stock person is properly ordering and restocking items.
