We live on the west side of Iowa City. There are many nearby car wash options in our area, including in Coralville, but I like 4 Seasons Car Wash because of their touchless laser guided system. It's economical and does a fairly good job. It does not clean as well as having the car hand washed, or pre-washed by hand at some of the local washes, but in most cases it does well enough. It saves time because usually there isn't a line and it goes quickly. My advice would be to try it out with your vehicle and see if you like how it does.

I used to frequent this car wash two or three times per week, but moved to the other side of town and it's now off my route. Driving by this morning, noticed there was an open stall and wanted to wash one of my trucks off to show the new decals I just had put on. Less than 20 seconds after swiping my card, I was very aggressively approached by Kevin Bell the owner, who proceeded to raise his voice and get in my face about being in his wash. I tried to explain I was not there to wash out the bed of the truck, as I noticed the new signs up about muddy vehicles, and the freshly painted floors. He wouldn't have it, and kept repeating himself all the while getting more and more heated. I tried to explain that I was not there to wash the bed of my truck out and simply wanted to spray off the sides. The sides and body of the truck had a very light dust from the rain last night and were not in the same condition as the bed. I explained to him that I myself was a small business owner and understood his stance on keeping his wash clean. He came up and got three inches away from my face and told me, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS GETTING THIS PLACE CLEANED UP!" I told him again that I understood he had spent a great deal of time getting it cleaned up and that it looked great. To end the confrontation, I pushed the stop button on the wash and explained I would leave. No refund was offered, and I will not be going back. You need to have a different approach to customers Kevin, and not assume every person is in there to "dirty" up your wash, or wait, maybe they are, considering you own a "Car Wash". Anyhow, I apologize for getting your blood pressure elevated this morning, and hope the next three months are better for you than the previous three. I've known your family my entire life and always had a tremendous amount of respect for each and every person. I also appreciate the advice on getting a haircut, and will take that into consideration. Good day sir, two thumbs way down.

Good manual car wash, maybe the only one left in the Iowa City area. Cost is reasonable. $2.25 for 4 mins. If using a CC, min is $5, but get 8 minutes. Good pressure and soap quality. Also have automatic bays, but haven't used them.

One star is too much credit for this worthless car wash out dated from the 1980s. Sensors don't work. Automatic spray poles that circle your car vehicle will hit your vehicle. Then, the whole wash will shut down and kick you out! Forcing you to leave with no wash. Oh, then you think you can call the phone number on the door and tell someone to refund your money, right? NOPE, no answer leave a message. 3 days later and still no call back. So if your going to waste your money at this degenerated, outdated, money scam of a place you better pay with credit card. As a credit card payment at least you can call your card company and force a charge back on these scam artists. WHERES MY MONEY??? you people are thieves betting on those who don 't pay your prices with cash.

Do not recommend this place. The attendant is less than helpful when their equipment fails. He’s good with attitude though. Kwik Star is better, plus plenty of options in Iowa City and Coralville. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Went there yesterday for a self wash. They don’t give you much time to clean your car that’s for sure! I then proceeded to buy a $1 cloth from the machine and ripped me off… twice. Doubtful I’ll ever go back after that.

Thanks for replying u would have never realized the rating I gave was one star. I must have accidentally rated. I've used this Car wash 3 times and I have not had one issue. Bays are clean, equipment is nice. The end result of the wash is what you would expect from a detailing shop. Not sure if any type of discounts or loyalty credits are offered but definitely give this place a try.

I enjoy a good manual car wash. This place had great pressure. Soap, spot free rinse, ect all worked great. Bugs blasted off the front of my truck. Vacuum worked well too. Clean bays and good hand wand. checked all the boxes for a perfect Saturday morning cleaning.

It's been over two decades since I've manually washed my car. But 20 years and four kids later, my two youngest sons and I had a blast when we dropped by here today after school let out. My 7th grader especially loved the high-powered hose, and my Mercedes looks great. We will return! Good price, too.

They were clearly open when I showed up, but as soon as I pulled in and tried putting any money in, the entire place shut down. They closed and locked the office door. It was the middle of the morning so it was clearly business hours still. They would not answer any phone calls and I went well out of my way to go to them to wash my vehicle

Said there was free vacuums on some of the reviews but unfortunately there wasn't. $2.00 vacuums that only take quarters of course. But it is a do it yourself carwash so you can detail your own vehicle

Felt Rushed and Unwelcome – Never Again Stopped by this car wash hoping for a quick and easy clean, but instead was met with an impatient and downright rude owner. From the start, he acted like I was taking up too much of his time—rushing me through the process, barking orders, and making me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Owner is down right rude to anyone that has gravel dust or the tiniest bit of dirt from a gravel road on there vehicle I watch him tell a person to leave because he thought there vehicle was too dirty then started heckling me for not being fast enough. Like I said this owner is very rude and disrespectful to paying customers! I barely had time to read the instructions or choose a wash before he started pressuring me to hurry up. It’s a car wash, not a pit stop in a race. If you’re looking for a place that treats customers with respect and doesn’t make you feel like you’re on a timer, look elsewhere. I won’t be back.

If you live on gravel roads. Try to wash your car or truck. They will kick you out. You have to have a clean car to be able to wash here... . It simply is true. Look at Mike conners review he is a mail carrier that drives on gravel roads. You kicked him out. Do you think he's mudding in his jeep. Here is a picture of that trailer with gravel all over it. Thats after 4 days and some rain. Was the 26ft trailer in the stall? NO.. my truck was. That's what I was trying to wash not the trailer. I always wash down the stall wether it's my car or truck Go drive on any gravel road after it rains. So you know what it looks like. Then you can go wash your vehicle at your competitors. Since you don't alow it. That is not MUD. change your sign and add any visible grim. LIKE I SAID YOU WILL KICK THEM OUT truck or Prius

Pretty good car wash, including auto touchless option. Gets nearly as the highway bugs off the front of the grill. I consistently go with the $10 option and am generally satisfied.

Tried using the "spot-free rinse" and there was just zero water pressure. Couldn't even rinse my mirrors before the timer ran out. Not the first time this has happened. I'll get a video next time and add it here

Its Really the BEST car wash in town for years... choose yourself to wash it. Or i do the 12.00 drive in. My car always is shiny and a great job always it is... goes under the car wash very well in the beginning....i have been there w my 77 Trans am 80 Vette n Trail Blazer, Chrysler lhs ..Lexus my Rava for yrs..all touchless youll really like it so simple to pay and drive in!!! Nice dryer to help get some water off your car!! Owners very nice n cares their car wash is good for your vehicle ........
