THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST. I work with a little boy with autism and he loves going through the car wash. we go through this car wash on our way to and from the beach, he always makes sure we pull over to this car wash. I bring him multiple times a day and each time they remembered me and got me and got me set up with the deal they have going on and they’re just so kind and accommodating. highly recommend this car wash because of the people, but it’s also a great service for the price and the colorful car wash is a fun plus!

I’ve had a membership here for the past few months & before that, too with a little lapse in between. The location is convenient, pricing is good, especially membership, and vacuums, etc always seem to be working well with clean rags & refilled spray. Seems soft touch was on my car & will definitely recommend!!!

I would have given this place 5 just a few years ago. Assuming it’s been going down since the new ownership. I purchased the monthly package and even though it’s right down the street, I can barely find time to use it. Each trip is about 20 minutes just to get through the line. One of the 2 drive throughs has been closed for months. About to cancel as it would be quicker just to wash it at home. The wash itself is half assed and over half the vacuums don’t work or barely work. Huge pot hole as soon as you come out of the wash that splashed mud on the side of my suv. This place has fallen apart since the last owners. Hoping they sell it.

I’m a VIP member and usually the wash is fine. But for two days, it has been closed each time I come in, even though everything says it’s open. Today I came in to the office since people were there. As soon as I opened the door I was hit with the smell of pot. A guy was sweeping the floor. I asked him what the hours were. He said, “till 8 every day.” I looked at my watch and saw it was 5:30, so I said, “but not today?” He kept sweeping “no not today I guess.” I asked why and he muttered something about guys not showing up but he and two others were there. I told him I tried the day before at 3 and the cones were blocking the lane then too. He said yeah they may have had trouble with the machines. I asked if it would be open tomorrow. He said 8 to 8 every day. I again asked “but not today.” And he kinda fell back as he looked around and said “I don’t know what time we close today.” So I left. He was too stoned to know what day it was. On the way out another customer pulled in and I let her know what I found. She also said it had been too long since they were open during business hours when she came up. I’d like to say it’s just my bad luck two days in a row but maybe there is more going on.

Great car wash! Nice Attendant was extremely helpful today! Didn’t get his name, but I Went in on 8/2/24. I’m from NY and we don’t have car washes like this in NY, especially for just $12! The overhead vacuums and air pump are awesome! I loved the free mat beater! The available free rags and window cleaner on the sidewalk were great too! When we visit we use Zips on 17! My car looks awesome!

I am a Zips' membership holder 4 years now because of competitive pricing and close proximity to my home. But, what are either of value when their air spray hoses, vacuums, and even the wash itself are always in fluctuations of repair and not in working order? I'm told repeatedly by staff that they have a hard time getting maintenance and repair people to show up. Additionally, they have a reluable labor issue in that there are many times I have come to wash my car on a weekday during normal business hours, and Zips' is closed because no one on their staff showed up for work either. It's like nobody at Zips' wants to work. It's frustrating. Zips' could be a great car wash and priced right against their competition, but their not. For now, they continue to meander along, seemingly not concerned about their customers staying or leaving. This has been my experience with Zips' for 3 years. As soon as any competitor comes along with similar pricing and location to me, I'm done with Zips'.

Terrible car wash. Bird poop left on side and back of Honda Passport. Tore off back window washer blade. Would give a Zero rating if I could. No directions from Workers and No help. We got the $18 wash, No rinse!!! Bad car wash!! Update: Today is March 10, I’ve received 2 emails from Zip but no help! Do not use this service!!!!

I don’t like to leave a sub par review without contacting the company first but your “Contact Us”site doesn’t allow for general questions ir comments. We stopped at the Zips CW on 17 in Mount Pleasant,SC and it appears that only one person is doing all the work!!Is he the only one here?Very not fair.Took forever to go through the car wash. This place needs more help!!

Keith the assistant manager was great. I love it when the attendant helps me with the direction my wheels need to be, and Kieth did that with a smile. This is not like some of the few other attendants. Kieth also sprayed all around my car, not just the side he was standing. I give Kieth 10 stars. Some of the other attendants( or at least one) do not compare to Kieth’s customer service and attention to detail!

Much needed car wash. And I was a prior customer however, due to technical difficulties from other locations I stop my monthly subscription. Well today I stopped my the Mt Pleasant location and Keith was very promising with the great service. It reminded me as to why I had a subscription in the first place. Thank you.

I have an unlimited pass, however there is always only one lane open, no lane dedicated to “vip members” and when you find the car wash actually open, the single line is at least 5 cars deep. I have attempted to go to the car wash after 8am (8:30; 8:40; 8:15) and it is not open even though their hours state 8am is when they open. I have attempted to call their 855 number as that is the only way to cancel, and you cannot get anyone. It says sorry, no one here to take your call and you are disconnected. This car wash has gone to absolute CRAP!!!!! 🤬🤬

I’ve been going to Zips regularly now and love the ease of service, but am taking time to write this review specifically because of a great customer experience I had with assistant manager Keith. When I was experiencing issues shifting my Tesla into neutral, he graciously took the time to walk through the car wash and direct me at each step of the way so I knew exactly when to drive forward and when to pause. Thanks for putting a smile on my face Keith!

I purchased a membership 3 months ago after purchasing a new vehicle, and it was one of the best decisions I made. I take my vehicle there at least twice a week and it saves so much time cleaning my vehicle. I get so many compliments about how my vehicle looks like it just came off the lot despite it being 4 months old. Highly recommend this car wash location!

Worst $20 bucks ever!!! Their machine damaged my left front wheel. I know it’s small but that will cost a couple of hundred to fix. FYI just was your own car by hand, I usually do but decided to try this place out; bad idea.

Gave this place multiple tries, but the quality is just poor. We went last time and there was virtually no soap on the initial entry. Then the right side spinning brush wasn’t functioning. I ended up having to wipe down the right side of the vehicle by hand to get it clean. Also, we paid $5 extra for tire shine and rain repellant. It appeared the rain repellant was out (just dripping as the lighted sign showed) and the tires were only partially touched. I went to complain and the attendant acted as though he didn’t know the right side want working even though there is a review here from 5 days ago that says the same thing. He offered me to go through it again, but why waste the time for the same result? This car wash has a great location and essentially a license to print money if they effectively run their business, but instead I wasted my money and will go elsewhere (like Wando Wash .1 miles away). I want a refund. Please check out the tire shine pictures, too. Hilariously bad.

I used to be a monthly subscriber, yup I canceled it. It was fine and convenient when I first subscribed November 2023, things have gone downhill. The last two weeks the location was closed. No reason/notice, just cones blocking the lane. This put me over the edge. As with another reviewer I wanted to reach the owner of the franchise. There is no way to contact the owner. I get a chat agent that is probably outsourced that is way too eager to cancel the subscription on two cars. I was teetering on canceling due to the service. The line is painfully slow. Between each car, the employee working the wash goes into the office ALL THE TIME!!! If he (rarely a she) would focus on moving cars into the wash efficiently and quickly. What is in the office??? I did see other people there. It would have been nice to get a power wash before entering the wash. I am now a subscriber of a newly opened wash on 41. They have more local stores as well.

Come here for all my car washes. Cam the manager is always welcoming and willing to assist with various requests. The wash is 10/10 and the price point is near unbeatable. See you next week Zips!

Updated 3/25/19 Not any better. Other than the free vacuums it’s really a waste of money. I’ve attached photos of my truck AFTER getting the $20 car wash. Like most everyone else I agree that it USED to a good place to get your car washed but the they have seriously declined. My truck came out the same way it went in, dirty. I doubt seriously that I will back.

Notice When you go through this car wash the right side of your vehicle will not get scrubbed nor will it get rinsed off. The air dryers will then dry the soap into the right side of your car because the whole system is not kept up with and is out of alignment. Two months ago I came through this car wash and there was a huge line of vehicles going through yet there was no soap being dispersed. When we told the employees they said that they were aware but didn’t know how to change out the soap... That’s no integrity, bad service, and a waste of your money.
