Worst customer service ever! Beware customers, the staff at the Hiawatha Street, Syracuse location are very arrogant! Ziebart should be concerned about losing customers. We will never deal with this location again! They should treat their customers better, since the customers keep you in business. A very upset customer! We dropped our vehicle off before opening, cause of our work schedule. I called to confirm work was being done was told I was all set & then I go pick up the vehicle at the end of the day & NOTHING was done. No work was done at all! What a waste of our time! Never again! Management should be ashamed!

I recently took my car in for an undercoating. I dropped it off the night before at closing time and had it back around 1pm the following day. Everything looks great and sealed well. I hope this preserves my vehicle well over the winter.

Called over there and they put me on hold then after a long wait it went to voicemail Called back no one answered and called again the guy answered and said please don’t call 20 minutes before closing to schedule an appointment. So I guess I’ll call back tomorrow to schedule it …. I’m Sorry that’s the only time some people have in the day to call …

This company is not able or willing to honor their warranty. I filed a claim on October 31, 2024, that was deemed complete by the warranty provider in December 2024. Once deemed complete, the warranty provider ghosted me entirely and wouldn’t respond to any communications. I involved Ziebart’s into the conversation and they’ve been unable to further the matter. I have all emails documenting this, and they’re too long to upload here as receipt. Buy at your own risk.

Morale of the story, prior to getting rust proofing on your vehicle from the dealership, verify where they have it done so you can read the reviews for the shop prior to purchasing. Brought my vehicle in for its yearly rustproofing maintenance, dropped it off at 8am ( which ended up being 8:30am because they can't stagger appointments and it took 30 minutes before someone saw me) and was told the shop closed at 5pm and it would be ready then. Called for an update on the status and clerk wouldn't provide any, simply stated "no cars have been returned yet". Arrived at 4:30pm anticipating it would be completed by "closing time", 5pm. Waited until 6:30pm and finally received my completed vehicle. When I inquired about the wait the clerk stated the staff are instructed to tell everyone to pick the vehicles up by 5pm closing time no matter what the actual wait may be. Stated there were dealership vehicles dropped off that they did not account for. Those vehicles have priority even though they have no appointment. Even if people are waiting for the vehicle. If I want my rust proofing warranty, I need to bring it to the same shop yearly. Waste of time and money. If my vehicle won't be ready until 6:30pm, tell me. Don't have me wait for the vehicle that you know will not be ready in a timely manner. Customer service is terrible. Would not recommend. Also beware, if you use a credit card, they charge you 3% but don't inform you of this until you question why the amount was higher than you signed for.

I signed for a bunch of work to be done on my van. $3800.00 worth. They were supposed to detail my van. They never even touched the last row of my seats. There was plastic back there that was back there when I dropped it and it is still dirty. I dropped my van off at 4:30 they close at 5:00 and open at 8:00 in the morning. I called at 8:02 to stop him from doing the $3800.00 worth and he said that they already started it and worked on it late in the night. There is no way they did that. He lied to me and I told him I was passed off for what he did and he could care less. I will never be spending another penny at that location. They still need to detail the back of my van. The seats were down and they never put the seats up to detail the whole van. He ripped me off. I don't believe he did the work that he said they were going to do. I don't see anything different and he never showed me what they actually did.

I've been to both locations in Syracuse. This one is much smaller, and the office/waiting room is a bit dingy, tho I can't say the other one is better either. They're just different. Easier to get into and out of traffic-wise. The work was done well this time, tho I've twice had issues with the Hiawatha location where they got undercoating on the bumper off my car and underneath it scratched the clear coat, and another time someone must have had it on their clothes and got it on my seat, which they did get out but I had to go back. They LOVE to try to sell you something new. Diamond paint protection, interior cleaning, etc. That's annoying. And finally what can be really annoying is you either have to wait quite a few hours for the work (and people will get there early to line up and be first in the door) or you have to get a ride which isn't easy. All in all, is it worth it? Hopefully, and so far no problems but time will tell.

Horrible experience, poor quality job done on my 2015 C7 Corvette. Poor quality product. Did not do what was asked. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go to CNY solar or anyone else besides Ziebart.

I was thoroughly impressed with the work done on my car. Mike Hritsko gave me a good price and my car looks like new, despite being 15 years old. Mike is a credit to your company.

Michael, at the Cicero location, was excellent from start to finish. He got me in quickly, didn’t waste my time, and was friendly, respectful, and honest throughout the process. When I picked up my car, he was just as professional and helpful as when I dropped it off. Great service and a smooth experience overall—highly recommend!

At the begining of November I went in for undercoating and found myself talked into getting a suite of things done including protective film over the full hood and splash areas. I left my car with them for two days to get it all done. As I get my car, the guy I've been dealing with and I check out my car to find they only did a half hood film cover, requiring me to bring my car back again to get the hood redone. So visit #2, I drop the car off again for a full day/overnight for them to redo the hood. The morning after I discover that there are two small spots on the passenger side of the hood that are bubbled up. I went back again to get them correct the issue. Side note, it was also around this time that I took my summer tires off to put on my snow tires and discovered they had over-sprayed the undercoating onto the inside of my rims and not bothered to wipe it off, requiring me to spend 4 hours cleaning off the rims. 3rd visit, I leave the car with them for a day again and upon my return I'm told they had some trouble with the bubbled spots and ended up "trimming" the film to make the fix. What that actually meant was they cut off the problem section, so instead of the film ending about 1/8" from the edge of my hood, the film now ends about 3/8" in the problem spot. A poor fix and now it looks like amateur job. Shortly after this, I was taking my car through a car wash only to have the attendant make me aware of "plastic falling off my car", which turned out to be the film coming off my front fender on both sides of the car. 4th visit. I show them the car, the issues, agree to leave them the car for a full day and overnight. After I leave, I call them back and ask them to fix the hood since it was going to bother me and since they had to fix other film anyway, to which the guy tells me "No problem!". Giving them the benefit of the doubt and since I had to work out of town all week, I drop my car off on Tuesday of last week, knowing I wouldn't be back until late Thursday of Friday morning. The scheduled appointment was for Thursday, with a Friday pickup. So Friday I pick up the car, and of course notice that they didn't fix the hood at all. But everything else checked out and I was tired of dealing with them so I left one more time. Unfortunately 1 week later (and now mid-December) the film is again falling off the passenger side fender. So I went back to Ziebart AGAIN, I was understandably frustrated but didn't curse them out, didn't raise my voice, just asked for them to make it right, which for me meant taking the film off and giving me a refund for it. Even after the guy asked me three separate times to "give them one more chance" to fix the film, and tried to sweeten the deal by giving me a free credit for a inside/outside/engine detail, I declined and again made my request for them to take it off and give me my money back. This went up to his manager who also declined to give me my money back and is more or less forcing me to let them fix it again (for a 5th visit). I couldn't be more frustrated with Ziebart right now and regret purchasing the film protection from them. 1/2/2020 - Update: The car was brought in on the Dec. 20th to have the film fixed. On Dec. 24th, I noticed the film on the hood peeling off again and I also noticed several defects in the film that are stuck below the surface of the film (defects I initially thought were smudges that would wash off, but did not). On the same day, I was contacted by the Manager who stated the issues with the film coming off were related to "damage to the clear coat of the car". My car did not have damage to the clear coat when this all started AND I had paid for a diamond coat to the paint which should have been applied before the film went on the car. The picture provided by their staff shows damage to the topcoat clearly in the shape of the film. I have asked for a full refund, which so far they have only offered me $600 back.

I brought my truck in for rust proofing and detailing. The truck looks brand new !! Awesome job guys. After driving my truck i noticed a bad vibration, I called them and asked them if they did something to cause this they said nothing. I brought it to my dealership and they said there was undercoating all over my driveshaft which is balanced at the factory and that the undercoating has thrown off the balance. I told Ziebart and they tried to clean it off but I had to take it to chevy dealer to remove drive shaft and clean. It was tied up for a couple of days. Everything is an upsell with them, and when I took it back for a yearly respray which is the only way to maintain the warranty I waited till after 5pm even though they had it the entire day. that day they were also doing a refresh wash on it and it had dirt all over it.The very WORST........BEWARE

Outstanding job by Senior Product Consultant "Andrew Rusinko" and the staff at the Cicero location!!! Roberto also was a big help. My 2012 KIA SORENTO looks like a NEW VEHICLE after they applied the "Diamond Gloss" paint protection. All the scratches were gone, they installed plastic door cups to protect from ring scratches, the wheel rims look brand new, the paint feels super slick, and the best part is that I don't have to wax the vehicle ever again!!! I brought the vehicle in for the free annual undercoat cleaning, inspection and maintenance, they did a great job on that part as well. Everything was completed within one day and as promised. Totally satisfied customer. I highly recommend Ziebart in Cicero, NY. I also want to mention that I used the $100. Off coupon that Ziebart mailed to me for the Diamond Gloss Paint Protection. They offer a wide range of services and help with the pricing. The Best choice for your time and money.

I should have did a better job of checking their interior detailing work. Multiple areas still needed attention, and stains were not removed.

I recently brought my car to Ziebart - Cicero for rust protection, undercoating, and diamond coating—and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. Andrew was incredibly friendly, helpful, and communicative. I had perfect timing and they were able to take my car in the same day, which was a huge plus. What really stood out was Andrew’s call halfway through the process to give me an update. That kind of attention and transparency is rare and truly appreciated. Even better, I got my car back the same day—and it looked absolutely brand new! I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the work and the efficiency of the entire process. Highly recommend Ziebart if you’re looking to protect and enhance your vehicle. Great service, great results!
