Bought an annual pass for my wife to encourage her to get her car washed more frequently. I, myself, have always used Mermaid off of Louisiana and 394, so guess I'm spoiled. But very disappointed in the quality of the wash. Agree with another review that I have as good a value going to a good gas station car wash. Feeble effort in drying the car off once you exit the wash, token effort at best to dry the door sills and jams. Purchased limitless wash for under $ 325 a year ago and today when I checked, they no longer offer that program. Would cost almost $ 100 more to renew the same wash without the discount. Will find somewhere else.

I had a car wash membership with Youngstedts Excelsior and canceled it June of 2022 due to a move. Unbeknownst to me I was being charged for a service I was no longer using until January of 2023. I stopped at the car wash twice and spoke to two different employees. They took messages and I never heard back. I called at least 3 times, left messages and finally spoke to Alex who is the manager. I filled something out online to explain the situation and didn't hear back from anyone. I spoke to Alex today and he had me call corporate to talk to Dan Deeters (sp) in accounting. I explained the situation and I just got the run around, yet again. This has been going on for two months. I told him that they can just keep my money. They weren't planning on giving it back to me anyway and I am tired of the fight. Beware of the online forms as they seem to disappear into a black hole. There is a better way to do business.

Signed up for the monthly car wash and not happy. The cup holders, parts of the dash, the entire display console weren’t wiped down. The 3rd row wasn’t vacuumed at all. I canceled my membership and explained why and they aren’t willing to do anything. I paid $57 for one car wash that wasn’t even cleaned properly. Too bad there isn’t another carwash nearby because it would make youngstedts actually do a thorough job. Go elsewhere. Update from reply message by youngstedts below. Yes, I didn’t talk to someone by phone because I was unavailable when they called. Subsequently, someone emailed me and we communicated that way. They told me that my membership would be canceled, per my request, but I would have access to the carwash until my month was up. That was the only option they gave me. Not, come back in and we’ll make sure it’s thoroughly clean and give a credit or just some kind of credit at all. Just that I won’t be charged for another month and I can use it until my initial month is done. That’s not trying to make things right. That’s just them keeping my money and not offering to do anything else. Funny, as I’ve spoken with other people and they haven’t had good car washes here as well.

I use the wash regularly in chanhassen and have always had friendly service. After reading previous reviews I feel compelled to give a shout out to the kids working hard to earn a living. I have a monthly contract and always bring a couple extra bucks to tip. I have an expensive sports car and I trust it in the hands of these honest kids. If you are having a bad experience maybe you should get the moth balls out of the wallet and tip these hard workers, if not then please do go to a cheap and poorly maintained gas station.

I've taken my company van in three times now. Each time the windows were dirty because they didn't wipe them well. The rear of the van doesn't get clean. I'm just not happy with this place. I normally use Paradise in apple valley. Since I live here in Excelsior I figured I would use these guys. I'll go back to driving to Apple Valley. Maybe I'm just used to a much better service.

We have had cars detailed here three times over the past three years. Dan, the detail man, does a great job and is very pleasant to talk to. He also makes suggestions for cleaning you can do yourself. I recommended them to a friend who was going to go through a dealer and saved her not only money but a lot of time. Highly recommended!

Went for a car wash asked to get rims cleaned I also informed that was the reason I was there. The car had been previously washed that same day. Just wanted to make it shine & rims with wax. Rims looked like all dirt debris was left behind. Had to stop at auto zone buy cleaner for rims. And did it myself.

Update: JUN24, they have added extra drying cloths and window cleaner... I am still love the air hoses and wish these would show up over at the Chanhassen location.. Update: New vacuums have been installed... asking with my favorite new feature, air hoses at each station to blow off the water. Each bay is alloted 2 vacuum hoses and 2 air hoses. The vacuum hoses have a stick version and a flat version. Nice upgrade... hope these features will be coming to the other locations.. 2023: Love driving around in a clean Jeep! Great car wash and detail center... a bit hard to get to this location..

I was impressed with the service, professionalism, quality, and care put in to make sure my car was clean and dry. I've never been to a car wash where there are attendants, as well as an automatic wash. Thank you for your service and care. Well done!

I used to work at the McDonald's next door so it was very convenient for me to get a wash everyday, but then I switched jobs and it wasn't convenient so I cancelled my subscription plan there last April, all of a sudden I have been charged again and they cannot seem to give me a call back and/or a refund. The car wash itself is pretty good. But the way things are run is sub-optimal, will change to 5 stars after a call back and a refund, because the wash itself is good.

This is not a company that cares about its customers, and they don't do a very good job of cleaning your car. If you sign up for a monthly subscription/reoccurring, they will raise prices without notifying you. They send no receipt of your payment. They want you to forget about it and keep paying. Any ethical company would provide a receipt. Their service at Excelsior is far worse than other locations. Tried to cancel my subscription, and they said they could not find my account. They sure seem to find it every month when the bill is due. Stay away. Not professionals.

Mostly average interior detail job. I’m satisfied, but will probably try other places in the future. It did not appear that they put much effort into vacuuming or shampooing the seats. I was also disappointed that there were several spots of hardened cleaning solution left on my dashboard and other parts of the car. These will need to be scraped off with a tool. Otherwise they pretty much hit all the points. Nothing special, still some crumbs here and there, but pretty solid. They shined my tires which was a nice bonus that isn’t listed on the “menu”. It took all day, and they wouldn’t give me an estimated time to pick up so that was frustrating. When you get there, there is no signage or anything directing you where to park. I tried to get help from a worker who wasn’t skilled in English. Eventually, I walked up to the car wash booth on the other side of the building. Having to wait and talk to the car wash attendant before and after your service is uncomfortable and inconvenient (no indoor office). They get it done, but pretty average overall for the money.

Got a used truck that needed a clean so I Bought the $150 detail. The floor looked pretty clean, it was vacuumed and dusted, but it didn’t appear they shampooed the seats or wiped anything down with a damp rag. The steering wheel was still sticky from previous owner as well as all of the cup holders. When I called, the guy wanted me to bring it in same day so he could “look at it” but my time is limited. Quite disappointed it still needs to be cleaned.

A friend left her car with me for three months and insisted I use it. She lives on a dirt road in Iowa, the insides of the doors and lift were caked with dirt that I couldn't get off. I only used the minimum detailing and it turned out beautifully! The people did a great job and I'll definitely be back for my car. Don't forget to tip!

New convert! Great carwash. My car prefers the gentle treatment received here to some other places hard bristly scrubbers. I purchased the silver basic wash with under carriage rinse. Two guys gently hand scrub car before entering the automatic wash, then hand dry. Very satisfied. (Competitive prices too)

This happened two years ago, and I'm still upset. The staff cleaning my car were laughing and pointing at the dent, making comments about how there’s no point in making the car look nice with such a big dent. They didn’t say it directly to me, but I overheard them. When I got my car back, there were muddy rag streaks all over the interior. At home, I had to clean it myself, using five rags because each one got so dirty and discolored from the gunk. I can’t believe I paid for a "professional" detail only to do all the work myself.

I purchased a Platinum wash and added vacuum and windows. For nearly $40 I thought I would get a decent service but in return I was provided a wash that didn’t remove dirt from many areas of my truck, got a subpar wipe down that left streaks and a truck that was still wet as I pulled out of the wash bay. I pulled into the detail bay for a vacuum and window wash. I’m “floored” that they left behind more dirt than they vacuumed up. They pretty much vacuumed my floor mats. Then they told me they were done so I got in my truck and showed them I didn’t get my windows done, language barrier was difficult here, he shook his head yes. I made him clean my windshield and he started with the outside…. Um, I just had an exterior wash! He didn’t do any of my other windows, they’re still hazy and smudged from my kids and my dogs.

The Basic wash at Crew Carwash ($12) does better than their higher level washes for double the price. Not sure if they’re unaware how actually not good their washes are or if I was lazy in assuming they were top tier in car washes. 100% not worth the money if you’re looking for a solid wash. Lower your prices or amp up the quality of your products to properly eliminate simple dust and road debris. Today I paid $19 for a wash which truly I could have done with a water hose and microfiber towel. I’m only giving 3 stars because their location is easy to get to for me.

I REALLY wanted to love this place because of the convenience to my house, but it's just lacking a bit here and there compared to Mister Car Wash, and it's $10 more a month as well. I'll most likely keep my my membership active during the winters to wash the salt off. Pros: -Exterior body wash is excellent, I get SO much soap per wash it's so shiny -Low wait times -Very friendly staff -Fast wash -Free towel / vacuums -Access to 3 locations Cons: -No automated tire/wheel wash, you have to ask for a post-it to get tire shine, and the poor guys stand in the cold outside the wash and do it for you manually. I end up skipping this because I feel bad for them. -Rims are extremely dirty every time I get a wash, it's like the wash completely ignores them -More expensive than Mister Car Wash
