This was our first experience with Youngstedts, and we will never go back. My vehicle is less than a year old and was not overly dirty, by any means, so I thought it would be a quick and easy service. I was told to drop off at 8am and that it would be ready around 4pm for pickup. I asked to be called if it was done early. At 2:30pm I called to check on the status and was told that they hadn’t even begun on my vehicle, as the vehicle before mine was in bad shape. They said mine would be done by 4, but then backtracked and said that it might not be done until the next day. I asked that I still be called when it is done, but that I would plan to pick up the next morning, as I had plans that evening and didn’t want to wait around if it might not even be done. The next morning I still hadn’t received a call about my vehicle status. When I called, a teen answered and thought that my car might be done but would check and call me back. 20 minutes later, she calls back and says it’s done. When we went to pick up, my vehicle was not cleaned to the standard that I had expected. There was visible dirt in corners. My cup holders weren’t even touched. Like I said, my car was not that dirty, so I expected it to be pretty spotless. My husband went to complain, and we were offered a redo or 50% off (which came out to $75, which is still not even close to worth it). We waited on our plastic floor mats that were brought out by a teenager in a crop top and leggings. The mats were still wet and dirty on the backside. I never saw an adult the entire time I was there, only teenagers. Never going back here!

Loyal customer since 2016. A good car wash at a very reasonable price and their monthly contract is the way to go. The only reason I can't give them five stars which I would gladly do is the car wash does NOTHING for the wheels and that's been a consistent problem for years now.

I paid 120$ for the interior detailing of my Prius. They did a bad job overall. Some portions were very clean and not some other areas. The seats were not properly cleaned. They did not get rid of lots of stains. There were several streaks on the outside. I pointed this out to the attendant when I picked up the car and he looked and agreed a better job could have been done. Said he would ask the manager to call me next day. Been a week and no call was received yet. So much for customer service. I ended up cleaning the interior myself. I will never go back there.

First time going to this wash. I went for the top of the line carwash as it included tire shine. I was then handed a rag to clean the inside of my own car. That would have been fine if the said "rag" would have been clean! They guy that dried my car was laying outside of the wash on the pavement, getting a tan I guess. He wiped the vehicle in about 6 spots. I had to point out to him that there was a sticker for tire shine and he seemed annoyed by this. I had now figured out vacuuming was also my chore with this expensive car wash. This was indeed the best part of the experience. Hoses on both sides of the vehicle for ease of use and a very powerful vacuum. This area was very neat and tidy. Needless to say, this made other full serve car washes that I thought were sub-par look much much better to me. I will not be going back.

We brought our car to be detailed and to receive ozone treatment and had a very poor experience. They had our car all day and, when we came to pick it up, they had not performed the ozone treatment and the detail was not well done. There were crumbs in the seats and cupholders and the trunk was still fairly dirty. Any other time we've gotten a detail, the car has looked almost new. We called several times over the next few days and was told the manager would call us back. We finally got through after sitting on hold instead of agreeing to a call back. We agreed to bring the car back in and were told the manager would clean the car. We understand there have been staffing shortages and things happen, so that was totally fine with us. We again left our car all day. When we came to pick it up, the ozone treatment was complete but the car was still dirty. We called again and they asked us to return the next day. For a third time, we left our car all day. Our car is in the same condition tonight as when we left it this morning. There are still crumbs, it is still dirty in pretty obvious places and it doesn't look like they did anything at all. We're pretty frustrated that we paid what we did and were out a car for three whole days and still have a dirty car. I get that many places are under-staffed, but our experience was quite bad, especially for the price. I would not come back to Youngstedts.

We have two contracts in our household. I was disappointed that there is not a group or family discount. Big miss there. Second time this month I’ve arrived for a car wash 5 minutes before the closing hour and the wash was not open. They had closed a few minutes early. Another Youngstedts practice is to close the car wash when it snows. I asked the attendant why they do that. I was told it’s because they don’t get many paying customers on snowy days. I would imagine that’s true, however, they neglect to acknowledge that they in fact do have paying customers who pay monthly! Moreover, the reason I purchased a car wash subscription is so that on snowy days I can wash my vehicle to remove the salt before parking in my garage. Wish there was another option in the area…

12/19/2024 wiper blades broke this morning. I called Youngstedt's Chanhassen at 8:24 am and I was on the road by 8:42 am. They were kind, courteous and the wipers are better than the ones I had on before they broke!

Lots of different wash/price options — I’ve only been twice but the two people who work took the payment were super nice. I like that they give you a real (non-disposable) wrap for wiping down your car! You just dispose of it in a bucket at the (free-to-use-with-purchase-of-wash) vacuums! The reusable towel might be a con if you wanted to just drive off right away after making it through the wash.. *careful with them vacuums—they’ve got PIWER! Sucked up a bracelet by mistake (cheap bracelet with no sentimental value luckily), happened so fast—and there’s no getting things back once that vacuum gets it! Last comment: love that there’s two people at the end of the wash conveyor belt who towel down your car to get the excess water off! (They do open your doors — while the car is moving along the conveyor belt — which startled me the first time so make sure nothing is in your door that might spill if the door opened…like the forgotten McDonalds fries wedged between the car seat and the car door 🤦🏼♂️) All in all tho, I liked this car wash. Had some spender options but there cheaper choices are no more expensive than getting one done at a speedway or holiday car wash

I had a minor gripe with Youngstedts that I voiced and I incredibly impressed with managements response. They were friendly and handled everything really well. Turns out the issue is somewhat unique to my car and we got it sorted. The exact opposite of what I've experienced at the chain washes. 10 out of 10. Would enthusiastically recommend.

Jake and Kylie were AMAZING!!! I had my 2016 Mazda CX-5's interior detailed recently - there were water stains everywhere on the cloth seats - and now they are now completely gone. It looks brand new!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Update: Had a call with Jake on my past experience and he was a true professional and transparent about the behind the scene challenges they are working through. I appreciate the way he handled the feedback as an opportunity to improve. He asked if I would give them another they, so I did. The second experience was nothing like the first and exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the time and your professionalism! I will be coming back to this location for future washes. By far the worst car wash I have even had. My first time going there so I got the premium $25 car wash to test it out. The whole back of my car looked like it wasn’t even touched. The towels they use to dry the car left lint all over my car. The tire shine, if you can call it that was horrible. All around I think this car wash is a ripoff! Had to wash the car myself after. What a waste!

WOW!! My car was DIRTY due to having a child, large dog, and moving to a new house—plus it’s getting old and has been very well used. Chris was the detailer who worked on my car, and he did an amazing job. He was courteous and answered all of my questions. My car was done the same day, and it now looks like I haven’t had a child or dog riding around in it, haha! No dog hair, no crumbs, no stickiness in the cup holders, no salt and gravel on the floor, and everything washed and cleaned. I couldn’t be happier!

Update: 2JUN25... EXCITING DEVELOPMENT... AIR HOSES ARE BEING INSTALLED! that's right... I saw them being installed the other day... and now they are hanging on the vacuum posts but no air yet. MAY25: Wish they would upgrade with air hoses in the vacuum/ drying area like excelsior. I think it is better than the new Crew...

Recently got the Exterior Detail done on my Black Edge ST. It was covered with hard water spots (I’m leasing it & should’ve still protected the paint with a paint sealant, forgot to do it 🤦🏻♂️) and the Youngstedts’s crew did an awesome job getting them out, and making it shine! Well worth it and highly recommend their Services! 👏 They have a great deal on monthly car washes as well.

I was initially really impressed with how my car turned out after getting a complete detail package. Then, I parked it in my garage overnight. The next morning, my whole garage smelled great. They cleaned my car so damned well, that it improved the ambient smell of my garage.. 5 star!

Came here for a quick wash and it was quick and the guys here work hard! I was also offered a small towel to wipe down my interior (not sure if it was cause of the package I selected) but I would definitely recommend and come here again.
