Great business! I was recommended by a friend to try out. Price was fair for a synthetic oil change, oil filter, and air filter. They completed it within 15 minutes. The gentleman in the office talked cars with me, my conversation with him was longer than the service. He also walked a lady through the of service her vehicle and answered questions while waited. Would recommend to others.

I can not recommend this place enough! The owner.. an older gentleman named Tommy.. VERY kind and personable. As a lady that lacks car knowledge, I never fear they will take advantage of me, try to do more work than necessary, or overcharge me. They have always done excellent work. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent service in every way! They greeted me at my car immediately, warm reception in the office, quick service with the addition of reminding me that my inspection expiration date was approaching, but zero pressure to go ahead and do that while I was there. I've gone there many times and will continue. I had an oil change done this time.

First off, they were one of last places I called to find pricing. I was so impressed with the customer service over the phone. They were kind and efficient. When I came in they were welcoming and fast. It made my oil changing experience very easy. I’m impressed how kind everyone is and how quickly they greeted me. I was overall very happy with this experience and will be returning for any future needs.

I have been using Castrol Premium Rapid Lube off N Texas Ave for over 10 years but recently their service has become less "caring" and the price of my last oil change was exorbitant! For conventional oil no less! I searched for and found Valvoline Express off Rock Prairie Rd & from the first contact I made via phone call to inquire to the actual oil change service the folks there were professional yet personal, the service was VERY QUICK although I will note they became extremely busy while I waited...I had inquired on phone about conventional Castrol... as this was what I always used. Instead of changing without notifying me- I was actually informed of a lack of enough oil I requested but was given option of similar priced oil. I was also given a $10 new customer discount which was awesome! I walked out the door very satisfied, and paid $15 less than my last oil change at Castrol

Have always had great experiences here and wanted to mention Alex by name. I stopped by right as they were closing today, and he could’ve easily asked me to come back tomorrow. Instead he was helpful and cheerful, went back inside and got me lined up. Alex, please accept my apologies for coming in at the last minute, and thanks for getting me taken care of anyway. For around 15 years+, I used to always go to this location for inspections and oil changes due to how convenient they are to where I live; not the absolute greatest price for their services, but you'd spend the difference and endure a lot more frustration trying to go elsewhere just to find "slightly" better prices. Well, I won't be going back there anymore after what happened to me today. I went in for my annual inspection, and they tell me "we're not doing inspections today because it's raining, and it will affect the braking test". Seriously? You're not going 75mph down the highway, you're in a TINY parking lot going at most 10 - 15 mph. So that's a crock. They just didn't want to do it because it was cold & rainy and they wanted to stay huddled up inside the garage area so that it LOOKS like they're working. I've been driving for well over 30 years, and I've never heard such a line of drivel in my life when trying to get an inspection done...and yes, that includes getting them done while it's raining. But then again, I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised...this is also the same place that when I last took my truck here for an oil change, they tried to tell me "your cabin air filter needs to be replaced once a month, it will cost $40". You can buy a 2-pack of those cabin air filters for around $15, and they only need to be changed every 12k miles or 12 months! I may have been born at night, but it sure wasn't LAST night.... Id10ts.... Oh well, you lost at least 1 customer, and I hope this review helps to warn others not to waste their time with this place.

Edit: Despite this bad experience, Valvoline has failed to reach out to discuss this. It's concerning that they feel that this level of customer service is acceptable. My experience was deeply unsatisfying. Initially, I was optimistic after discussing services and pricing with Tommy, the friendly manager at Valvoline Express, who offered me a reasonable quote for mechanical work. In my first visit, I waited 15 minutes with no service when Tommy finally emerged from his office and helped me. He did provide great service after that and apologized for the wait, which I greatly appreciated. However, my next visit to the shop fell even more short of expectations. Upon arrival, I encountered an employee I was told was "the mechanic" who seemed more interested in phone calls than attending to a customer staring him in the face, even blatantly ignoring me after finishing his conversation. This disregard was especially distressing given my urgent need for the mechanical work, compounded by personal challenges including placing my father in Hospice care. I needed a reliable mechanic to make sure my vehicle is in tip top shape for all of the driving I'll be doing taking care of my father during this time. The indifference shown to me made me feel invisible and highly disrespected as a customer, leaving me with no desire to go there again.

Chris & Alex are very transparent and don't try to gouge you out of your wallet. Prices are extremely fair and work is very very good. Turn around time wasn't bad at all for what I needed done. What I had done: - Timing cover taken off - Water Pump R&R - Re-Timed - Coolant R&R - Oil R&R - Gaskets - Reassemble Without getting specific, other places quoted me $5k-$6k more than what I was quoted here for the same work, same warranty and longer turn around time. They did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. Will return with all my business for auto care here!

Do no go here. Went for an oil change, they were very fast, but didn't ask what oil/services I wanted done before doing it. I was charged over $80 for their "premium service" oil change which was not requested. They insisted I needed a new cabin air filter. Checklist says they checked over many parts of the car, however, I know they did not because the wiper blades are 4 years old and falling apart, however they thought the wipers were perfect condition apparently.

Pulled in for oil change. It wasn't busy at the time but several cars pulled in behind me. I was out in 10-12 minutes. The gentleman were friendly and fast. Nice and clean waiting area. First time visit but not the last.

Great experience today at this shop. Just there for a basic oil/filter change. They provided the service very quickly. No sales pitches to get me to do other services, they did exactly as I asked. $10 off coupon for 1st time customer, which was appreciated. Nice, well appointed and CLEAN facility, including the bathroom. Being new to the area I went by location and other reviews, which were decent. I will be back. Thanks guys!

Honestly I do not recommend this place if you are a young woman. I came in for a simple oil change and was met with constant upselling that quickly turned into a $230 bill. I’ll own that I agreed to one of the services, but I did so trusting that the recommendations were honest and truly needed. The staff was not honest or clear about what actually needed to be done and made unnecessary services sound urgent. The focus felt more on selling add-ons than providing a straightforward oil change. The experience was misleading and I won’t be returning.
