What can I say, this place is always busy. Came in here after the rain because my car desperately needed a wash. Let’s just say I was tired of my ride sporting dirty dried raindrops LOL Although the line to get into the car wash was out into the street when I first tried to pull in, the line did move relatively quickly. They have changed their pricing significantly and it now cost to have the interior of your car wipe down as well. I wasn’t thrilled with that change. My car was soaked down three times and rinsed off twice so I was concerned there was still some soap on the car when I got to the place where the guys start drying the car off. While waiting for them to finish find the exterior and interior of my car someone’s car alarm went off and they did not get it shut off for several minutes which was rather annoying. Overall I am content and grateful that they were still open and available when I got here.

Been using this car wash for years, and they always do an outstanding job. Alan recommended the monthly service. It’s a one time monthly fee that I can get my car washed and cleaned throughout the entire month. It preserves and protects the paint on my car from the San Diego sun. The entire staff is great, and I’d highly recommend their service!

I took my 2013 Toyota Highlander in for a detail on 10/8/25. When I picked it up it looked like a new car🎉 Gerry checked me in and worked on my car with another. A lot of people complain that their car isn't flawless after -- that's what a full detail is for. If you want a good wash, dry, and interior cleaning all for under $30 this is your spot. Don’t waste your money here! They don’t do a thorough job for the amount of money they charge. I specifically paid more for make sure the interior was cleaned and Juan missed a whole section. Total waste of $200.

Love coming to this car wash! The workers here are always super nice and do an awesome job every time. My car always comes out looking spotless and shiny. They really take their time and make sure everything looks perfect. I also like that they offer membership options—it makes it easy to keep my car clean all the time without spending a ton. I got their final touch (the highest level) interior detailing and the #3 exterior My car was clean enough, but i am certain it wouldve been equally clean if i got the base options on both... Staff was SUPER super nice though so i would definitely recommend, just the base levels tho

So a few years ago, I used to live in the neighborhood of university Heights and drove by that auto detailing place for a while. I got in a car wreck and the auto body place kind of made a mess of the interior and for the last couple years the interior was already kind of a mess. I went to a car wash place and as soon as I drove in, I realized that was not the place. I wanted to take my car so I took it to uptown cart wash and detail! I wasn’t sure how good of a job they were going to do But when I got there the first person I talked to asked me a few questions. We talked a little bit I told him exactly what I wanted done. He gave me a few prices to do it several different ways and he was very courteous and kind. I went through the car wash everybody there was very professional as I waited for my car to be done in detailed. I wasn’t in a hurry. I just wanted my car to be done correctly and I was super impressed. I have gone to many car washes before and I could not believe how amazing the interior of my car. It’s a 2019 Honda CRV but it’s gone through a lot of stuff there were scratches and dirt and grime and like I said before the dust from the auto body shop And when I got that car back, it looks like a brand new car inside! Like I had just bought it! These guys are totally professional. They have good manners and I will definitely be a regular client!

Update: they went above and beyond to fix everything. They redid everything for free, very dry this time including thick mats. Smell gone. They apologized and gave a future discount. I can’t in good conscience leave a bad review after that. Got the inside cleaned, car was soaking wet for days. Got water stains from how wet it was and musty smells. Do not get interior detail from them! They did a great job cleaning the lights and everything that wasn’t fabric.

I’m new to the area and after a few days of research I’m glad I came upon Uptown Car Wash. I drove in, followed the entrance signs, after that I didn’t see the small “stop, check in here” sign. Joel noticed my confusion and approached my vehicle guiding me on who to talk to. I showed another employee my Free #3 Exterior QR code and proceeded to the drive thru car wash. I honestly was expecting it to be a by hand wash, however, I really needed a wash and my vehicle usually goes through the machine anyway. I was pleased the equipment they use because it seems gentler than other machines I’ve put my vehicle through. At the end of the wash there was 2 guys that very quickly and efficiently towel dried the remaining water. Overall I am pleased with the service my vehicle received. I am more pleased with the fact that they provided a free service , something I have never experienced before. I give props to the owner for this business strategy because I will definitely be going back and gladly pay to have my vehicle washed. Joel happily answered some questions I had about their detailing services, I have friends that have nicer vehicles and have expressed their interest in a bougie but yet affordable location. I went ahead and gave them my honest opinion and it’s safe to say they may be visiting Uptown Car Wash as well. See ya next time, Joel.. I’m Glad I got to meet someone from my hometown!
