The manager in this place doesn't care about resolving issues unknown he's name due to he was even refusing to give the employee giving me bad customer service. The employee who was laughing at my face is juan carlos. The person in charge is a male today mon dec 1 2025 approximately at 950am. Juan carlos was laughing after telling him I have complaint multiple times for them giving me the classic instead of the magic that I pay for. This is the fourth time this had happened, they charge you for a service you dont get. And plus they haver personal that dont care either.

Not a fan of reviews, but I do have to say Rene knows how to take care of his customers. Very up front and knowledgeable. I Don't wash my car very often but I will be going to his location anytime I need a wash. It looks almost new. Yes it's 13 yrs old but it looks good.

This has to be the worst car wash in San Diego I paid 25 for their "best" wash and my car wasn't cleaned very well at all...I drove back through and asked it i could run it again because clearly my car was still dirty and bugs everywhere...they said ok only this time I went through a second time giving me the lowest car wash this time..thanks and still my car is dirty...poor service and poor equipment photos after 2 consecutive washs

My recommendation for this place is that if you live close by to one, get the basic Joe membership. You pay $15 a month but have unlimited washes. You don't need the more expensive ones unless you feel you need to. They don't do a great wash but you can run by it more than once in the same visit. This way your car gets cleaner. I usually go through it once a week and definitely the day after it rains. Just to have a "fresh" car. The good thing is you can use any of their locations so when you come back from a long trip out of town, you drive right in and wash the bugs off your car before they stick forever.

I was really impressed with Soapy Joe's. My daughter washs her car there weekly. She pays a monthly low fee for all the visits she wants. After the soapy wash, you pull up into a stall and do your own vacuuming. They have so many stalls, you'll never wait. When compared to regular car washes, it's such a deal! You even get an air freshener to hang in car everytime.

If their car wash is not working or closed then sections of the vacuums are not on or working. I pay for a monthly membership for most months to not be able to fully access everything that's apart of the membership. So I drive down the road and pay for the better vacuums at the car wash on 13th and Coronado.

I love Soapy Joe’s, I come here, even though it’s a bit out of my way. Lots of soap and well maintained Drive through wash. Easy in, easy out. I love the powerful vacuums and there’s always ample clean towels available to use in the stalls to wipe down everything. The staff is always super friendly and the property is always clean. This is my go to for car washes. They have a special going on right now pay for one wash and get a whole month of Unlimited washes! Loads of stalls to pull into for vacuums, and I never have to wait for someone to leave. Will continue to visit here again and again.

At soapy joes I expected good services, I got the magic Joe 25 dollar, first the customer service rep was really rude will trying to offer the monthly plan, second when I can out the wash parts of my car had big strips of dirt and as I was inspecting my new car there was scratches all over on the hood , on the trunk, near gas tank, I do not recommend! Wash your car at self service to insure no scratches or dirt you skip the whole rude service

I have personally experienced the frustration of bad customer service, and it's truly a pain. 😠 Dealing with unhelpful or indifferent representatives can waste valuable time and energy. It's so disappointing when a company doesn't prioritize resolving your issues promptly. I went into the office as he sat and played on his phone and his car was parked in a stall for customer usage. He's a repeat offender, he does on Saturdays! On the busiest day. Never moved his car. Another concern, is that this employee , which is a manager. Looked like he was under the influence of something.

Great place with plenty of space to easily find an open spot to vacuum your car, and the towels are always clean. On a couple of occasions the vacuums haven’t had enough power, but overall it’s a really good car wash. We have a membership and it’s totally worth it. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the restrooms.
