I was a "Works" member of this car wash until May 4, 2022 when the trim on my back passenger window was ripped off my car after a wash. After notifying an associate of the damage he wrote down my info and included that the damage was "found on video" and assured me that the owner will "contact me soon". I have called multiple times and went to the car wash in person to ask why I have not heard anything since the incident and everytime I get the same response, "the owner will contact you soon". It has been nearly 2 months without a single call from the owner. There are plenty of other car washes in Murfreesboro. Be aware that of this place, if they damage your vehicle, they will avoid the issue completely.

Originally I gave a 5 star review; however, the quality of the car wash has gone down tremendously since we purchased our monthly membership. We currently have a membership for all three of our cars. We go through the wash at least three times a week, sometimes more. The tire shine at the end of the wash is always broken. I can't believe they allow people pull up and pay $20 for a wash when they aren't even getting the entire wash they are paying for. Also, if you go early in the morning, watch out for the putrid smell. I believe they are literally washing cars with pure sewage water. It's nauseating. We are looking for other monthly membership options in town.

After being a member for approximately one year, on September 30, 2025 I took my cyber truck to get a wash. The rotating brush grabed my windshield wiper and tore it off. The car wash manager said was not covered because the blade moved during the operation. Keep in mind there is no way to retract or hide my wiper from exposure to their rotating brushes but they insisted their contract with me doesn’t cover such things. Fairness is not one of their virtues. I strongly suggest anyone to avoid using their services.

This place has got to be the worst car wash in Murfreesboro. Vacuums don’t work and no towels. I just paid $10 to these guys for nothing. On my way to a different car wash so I can actually clean my car.

This place was the only car wash I used to go to but now it’s the last place. We canceled our monthly because my husband’s truck was getting scratched by the brushes and they wouldn’t do anything to appease the situation. Then my car never even got fully washed or dried so we canceled. Today I went again and the pictures are how wet my car still is after sitting in the sun for 15 minutes while I vacuumed. The vacuum doesn’t pick up half of the things it should and my car looks like no dryers or drying brushes even touched it. This place either needs to shut down and redesign or just close all together.

West side of the boro is well covered when it comes to car washes. Tommy’s sits at the top for us! Memberships are a great deal and the quality of wash is very thorough. Good power on the vacuums too! The owner and staff are super nice and intentional to make sure you leave satisfied!

I’m really disappointed with my experience at this wash. I paid for a full wash, but when I got home, there was still dirt on the back of my car, bugs left on the front bumper, and streaks all over the windows. The tires weren’t properly cleaned, and the vacuums had little suction. So I proceeded to go and find a worker and ask if I could go through the wash again and was told “Thats now how it works” and the young lady walked off snickering Very unprofessional hope she learns her lesson some day.

Poor customer service and poor quality of wash back of car never gets the complete wash as the front of the car. Management won't allow a re-wash even if you show your receipt. So I will share my experience with my family and friends, maybe losing customers is what they need to experience.

Very mid quality car wash …. I live nearby but still would rather take my car to Camel car wash in Nashville because the vacuum strength is night and day comparison….not to mention the actual wash is better too ….. if Tommy’s was Camel quality I would definitely come more often.

This like other car washes, are for people that do not care too much about the quality of the wash. Does a poor job of washing trucks. You’d think that a place that kind of advertises for being able to wash trucks would do a half decent job of washing trucks. Ran through the washer twice and the quality of the wash is not good. It’s nothing to the workers, they were understanding, but these washes do no good ash trucks well. Would probably wash a car well, but not trucks and large SUV’s

I’ve been using Tommy’s since they opened and it’s always been great. Today I took my Tundra through and it came out covered in mud specks and scratches matching up with the mud streaks. I showed the staff, they took down some notes and photos and told me they would pass my info on to the right person. Hopefully they make things right. If not, I’ll update the review with the photos so other people can use caution. Update, I never even got a call back. Photos posted. Update 2: They responded on Google but didn’t call back, I called as they requested. The number is simply the number for the car wash where I had already given all of my information and photos were taken by their staff. No one answered and I left a voicemail. At this point the only thing they could do is pay to have my vehicle buffed out, but I have a strong suspicion they won’t even reach out. When I initially made the staff aware I was told the owner would review the car wash videos and contact me. So…. Beware, if you have a newer vehicle, especially a dark color, your vehicle will be scratched here. Final update, after reaching out twice I never was able to actually connect with anyone, nor did I get a phone call back. Another update: Our friends took their new vehicle there and had a similar scratch experience with no call back. And now they no longer have mat washing machines. Just avoid this place.

Update: The Customer Service is lacking since my original glowing review last year. Calling is difficult. Leaving more than one message may be necessary. When you do get someone perhaps even the manager you are not given straight answers and in my case misinformed and hang up on! When you call back, you get criticized by them for being upset for being hung up and asked why you want to speak to the Owner then ridiculed for being upset for their managers actions. I have been a loyal monthly customer and was spoken to very rudely and again just hung up on. Why should customers support businesses that don’t support loyal customers? Being rude and abusive to customers is not acceptable to me. Original Post: Easy access, inviting locally owned business! Great customer service from the entrance to those collecting trash and keeping the place looking so nice. As for the Car Wash, I very much enjoyed all the suds. There were so many I couldn’t see out. Lol! My vehicle came out beautiful and looks amazing! The vacuums are strong too. The suction power cleaned the carpet very well. I used a mat cleaner too. That was a first. My mats came out looking brand new! Mine are carpet and I saw those with the rubber mats and again looking sparkling new. I highly recommend this location! It’s well kept and everything works well and you leave happy!

This location was great when it first opened, but has really declined. Truck no longer comes out clean, only half of the vacuums work causing you to change parking spots just to find a hose that works on the other side of your vehicle. Vacuum times are ridiculously short, requiring you to go back and push the button multiple times. They used to provide rags and cleaning spray for your interior, but no longer do.

I’ve been a monthly subscriber at this Tommy’s location for a while, and the wash itself has always been fine. The issue I’m reviewing is the recent price increase and the way it was handled. The monthly plans at the Tommy’s Car Wash in Murfreesboro Tennessee just jumped between 29% and 50%, depending on which level you’re on. I don’t care what industry you’re in — a jump of that magnitude, all at once, is a great way to lose paying customers. Most competitors in the area offer similar services without that kind of sticker shock. On top of the price issue, this location has an ongoing problem with dirty brushes causing micro-scratches in the paint finish. I’ve noticed this repeatedly and brought it to the attention of local management. Nothing changed, and the scratches continued over time. A wash that markets itself as “premium” should take basic maintenance seriously, especially when the result is visible damage to customers’ vehicles. If a location can’t maintain its equipment properly, it shouldn’t be charging above-market rates. I reached out for clarification, and was told prices hadn’t gone up in three years. Fair enough — but had they made incremental adjustments over time, it would have been far less tone-deaf than raising prices by up to half overnight. I also tried speaking with the manager on site via phone. He wasn’t rude, but he was clearly uninterested in having a conversation about it. It felt like talking to someone who just wanted to get off the phone. At minimum, a business that raises prices this aggressively should be able to articulate the value behind the increase, or at least show some basic customer engagement. Corporate support was responsive, but essentially told me that local franchisees make the pricing decisions and suggested a pay-as-you-go option. That’s fine in theory, but it doesn’t solve the problem that two washes now cost more than an entire monthly plan used to. Just to be clear: affordability isn’t the issue — value is. At this new price point, this location is simply charging more than the market supports and more than most competitors for equivalent service. I’ll likely downgrade or take my business elsewhere. Tommy’s may assume customers won’t notice or care, but the ones who actually look at their finances probably will.

I visited Tommy’s car wash today. February 7th! I always love the atmosphere when I visit Tommy’s near my house. The staff is always so lovely, especially Maddie. Maddie came up to my car and asked how my day was going. It made me feel great because I had recently lost my dad, and she didn’t know. I just wanted to say, Maddie, keep smiling and sharing your kindness because it may just be what people need to get them through a tough day! Thanks for the Valentine’s candy as well. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’m giving you #10. Thanks, Wanda!

If you want damage to your vehicle, wash here. Please read low rating posts learn a lesson. My vehicle was damaged here and the smug owners could have cared less. They will tell you, ”we take this seriously” in person and in an auto reply to your post, nevertheless, when I “became a member”, I brought the damage to their attention. They claimed it was not due to them when I only washed there and the damage was new. I moved to an alternative location down Franklin road with my 4 vehicles, best move I ever made!!!!!!! When you have an owner that cares less and sends auto replies, there is.a problem.

This place is terrible. DO NOT GO HERE. this car wash will cause significant damage to your car. It will scratch your car big time, and I went thru the other day and came out without a spoiler, they claimed it happened in the air room... the 1st question they asked was how old my car was and that's bc if your car is 10, they don't have to cover damage although they have no sign stating that nor did I sign anything that says that. My car turned 10 years old. The DAY BEFORE MY SPOILER WAS BROKEN IN THEIR CAR WASH. The minute they found out my car was 10, they were like oh well your car is old. The glue breaks down over time and it just blew off. However I took my car to the dealership and had it verified, the spoiler was not help on with just glue, it was also help on with clips, 3/4 clips were also broken in this car wash.... they have the video footage and refused to let me view it. Then I spoke with the owner who was no different, not even seeing the video asked how old my car was then claimed my car was just old and this is why it happened. My car is in amazing shape... they will not offer to even help pay for part even know there are many many reviews of how damaging this car wash is. It has scratched my car significantly too. I asked for an incident report along with their insurance info, I was completely denied bith along with the video. The owner told me its up to her weather their insurance covers damage or not like I'm not a grown adult with sense. We all know, insurance and adjusters are the ones who decide who is at fault. But that's okay, I have proof from mazda that its not possible for the spoiler to just blow off and this was not a cause of old glue or my car being old. I have contacted the franchise owner and the BBB, and this is the START of me spreading awareness of the damaging car wash they are running and not offering the help to fix them when something goes wrong at THEIR CARWASH. Refusing insurance information should be a crime. Bc if they are not at fault, insurance can determine that. Not the owner who never even see. The video... they also didn't even give me all of my spoiler back. I have a single piece. I'm attaching videos as well.

I loved this place when I joined up until about 4 months ago Every review says same thing but they do not improve. I have Contacted them via email to let them know my concerns and their answer is oh let the guy at the actual car wash know If you go talk to them they basically just look at you nod their head and I have zero confidence they've passed on the feedback at all . Only half the vacuums work or have any suction. My car comes out all soapy still on the back sometimes I have to run it through twice. Every time I go through their typical Gen Z workers just sitting on their phone... Not cleaning up not working on the vacuums I thought it was maybe just me but I just read all the reviews that say the same thing and how do they remedy the bad reviews? They raised their price 40%.. I canceled i'm moving to Florida so I had to cancel anyway but I would definitely be canceling if I was staying here. In Florida I'll get a 30 a month car wash club which includes an air blower for tight spots& Towels. Get on top of your workers or you're not gonna have a business anymore

Absolutely terrible customer service and they do not take ownership of their mistakes. We have had memberships on multiple vehicles and just purchased another vehicle to add to our membership. We just purchased the vehicle and took it through the wash for the first time since having ownership and immediately noticed numerous scratches down the passenger side. An employee took up close photos of the damage and told us someone would contact us within 3-4 days after reviewing the footage to see if the damages were on our vehicle prior to entering the wash. We know for a fact they were not as we had to complete a pre-purchase inspection prior to purchasing our car. After no response in 3 days we called this location for an update to which there was no update and the incident report had not yet been looked at by management. A few hours later I received an email stating that “the scratches are not consistent with damage that would occur inside our car wash. If scratches were to occur within our facility, they would be serrated, appear at a consistent height, and extend down the entire side of the vehicle. This does not match the damage observed.” Well, actually they are consistent and all down the entire side of the vehicle! I called immediately after receiving the email and was told that because my vehicle is a 2020 model that we purchased that dealers put a wax on vehicles and it was probably removed during the wash exposing the scratches that were hidden under the wax. Negative. These scratches were definitely not there prior to entering this wash. I have contacted our local news to see if they will investigate these multiple incidents that have occurred at this place of business and several thousands of dollars that this business has gotten away with not assuming responsibility of the damages caused by the car wash. I’m not only trying to get justice for my own vehicle, but others as well that have left reviews stating similar issues of damage received. If this doesn’t work, we will be getting in contact with lawyers to see if we can go further to get this resolved. Please beware and do not waste your money with this car wash.
