Shame I have to leave such a low star rating, cause the auto wash guys do great - but the self wash stations are horrendous. I've wasted my own time and money now on several occasions coming here. It used to be great a few years back, however - now it's something else. First of all, the high pressure soap hasn't worked in over a year. So you have to use the low pressure option which basically trickles water out, walk around your car slowly and make sure it's covered in suds. This costs you more time and money at a place like this, and I feel it is deliberately disabled for this reason. 2nd, the arguably most important option of the wash - the spotless rinse, has also not been working for the past year. That means, unless you hand dry your entire car immediately after washing you are going to have water spots all over within 20 minutes. Either that, or now you need to use the forced air option to dry your car, which again costs you more time and money and does not even get the water spots out. So whats the point. Now let me be clear, I used to frequent this place much more when everything was working. I didn't complain about cost then. But the machines have gone up in price and you get less options, which happen to be two very important ones. Also last time i was there, i was waiting in line for awhile because everything takes so long now due to the broken options - just to pull into the bay and see the machines are only taking cash. Just be aware. Fix your two wash options and I'd be happy to recommend this place to people again.

I just came by to check out the car wash seems legit didn't get my car washed today since it's going to rain this week but I'm looking forward to using their facilities I would only bring my own microfiber and brushes to clean my tires and car. $5 initially for 5 minutes and a dollar for every additional min

UPDATE: 3/8/25 The owner keeps saying on these reviews he is going to repair/fix the 2 broken bays. To date it is still not fixed. The soap guns do not work and the clearcoat doesn't work. Why won't you keep your word and fix it? It's horrible and all these customers are complaining about your broken equipment. Then shut the car wash down until it's fixed. The self-serve car wash has been broken for months, especially the one on the left side bay. The soap gun comes out brown my car came out with all this grime on it and they won’t fix it. It’s been broken for a long time. You can see on the ceiling where the soap is leaking and one of the workers said the clear coat option does not work..and the money machine is broken. It doesn’t take older dollar bills. I had to exchange dollars at the gas station. Reading most of your reviews this is a common complaint. Everybody says your machinery is broken. As a business owner it’s your obligation to get it working right. Get it fixed!

Excellent car wash if you're patient with the interior service. Yes, it may take longer than other places but this place is very thorough. If you're in a pinch and just want exterior, the drive thru is excellent and gets your car extremely clean without having to exit your vehicle. I drive up from Yonkers to wash my car here...and yes there are at least a half dozen places I could go...but this is the best around. The staff and owner are top notch.

Ok spot but they really need to update the card readers and cash dispenser on the self wash side. Today the self wash bay ran my card 3 times but never turned on, amazing. UPDATE: Now 1 star. Today I was charged 7 more times for the “error” readings from the machine. Unreal…. Now $50 for wasting my time and more time now disputing it.

I want to like this place, I really do. They have a great location, the staff is friendly, as you go through the car wash there are a lot of lights and it is a fun little show. But at the end of the day, it just does not get my car clean. For me, the biggest issue is bird poop and almost all of it remains on my car after a wash here. I had stopped going, but recently decided to give them another shot and same result. So I will not be returning.

Sucks, horrible, the worse place to self wash your car don’t go the only thing good about this place. It’s just a power wash because the three foam color is low and weak and do not even think about using the vacuum because it’s trash trash. There’s no bathroom in this place there’s no ATM and there’s no customer service I do not recommend this place at all.

At the self car wash we need the triple foam to actually work not just shoot water like it a good car wash and like it but the triple foam is making me want to find an other self car wash like it use to work amazing before now it barely even works

Not good they don’t clean the car as the package you choose I paid $33 basically just for the out side wash.🙄😑 next time I will do it my self I spend $10 for self car wash 😒🤷🏻♂️

I went threw the car wash and it was terrible. They use bang their brooms around your car when they are sweeping it with the soap. All you hear is banging and thumbing sound coming from the wooden stick on the broom. A V O I D this place if you dont want to damage your paint. I was just there yesterday and never am I ever coming back.

The guys at Thornwood car wash are very thorough and attentive. They don’t rush through. Last visit I had sapp on my windshield and before letting me go through the guy took a razor blade and removed all of it. My favorite car wash!

There aren't many car washes in the area, and by far Thornwood is the best. The full service wash is incredible, extremely thorough and not rushed. The monthly rate is fair, and the owner Zehy is very helpful if there is ever a problem. I have a few cars w/ monthly deals and they do a great job. I highly recommend!!!

First thing I asked before entering the car wash was if they could get the bird droppings off of my car and they assured me that that would be no problem. Exited with plenty of bird droppings still on my roof and my bed cover then come home to realize that my car was even damaged by the machine it went through, so would not recommend to anyone

The self service bays are practically useless unless you want a plain water power wash. Gave an extra star because the price is fair. Used to be my go to place when I first moved to the area, they need to better maintain the bays.

I have been going to Thornwood car wash for years and was happy with their service. However, I will be taking my business elsewhere after my visit today. I went to Thornwood Car wash this afternoon to have their Full service cleaning for $33. I asked the person to clean most of the dog hair on my car floor mats, no hair on the seats or dashboard and he told me “we’ll do our best” well they might have done the worst job I ever seen. Dog hair was still everywhere on the mats so I asked if they could spend a few more minutes trying to get the hair out and he had the audacity to tell me no. So I told him I got the top of the line car wash and he responded he could not take my mats out to clean since they weren’t rubber. Then he told me I could leave the car with him for a $250 detail that would take 5 hours. I spoke to the manager cashing me out and told him my frustration and he told me “they can keep the mats and work on them in their off time but would take 5 hours.” Their were no cars in the line and the mats would probably be forgotten off to the side. Do not waste your time, this is the LAZIEST car wash crew I’ve seen in my life. I went home and cleaned my mats off in 5 minutes with a shop vac. Maybe they need new vacuum cleaners and more motivated employees .

Used to like this place for the self service wash but not even worth it anymore. They haven't had the soap option for about 2 years now, and I went a few weeks ago and basically paid $8 for just a pre soak and a rinse since everything from the wheel cleaner to the triple foam was off. Not wasting my time or money with this place anymore.

Was against my judgement to come here. Legit was sent thru this carwash with no water brushes anything. After waiting on line for 20 minutes now im told to go back around. Im still in line waiting. Lets see when I look at this after if my trucks all scratched up
