Very rude owner. Very rude, not just by me but by many reviews. And the sons that manage the place, the media, and reviews are doing their best to apologize. But today after I left the wash and my son stayed behind finishing his car, a very happy and proud young college kid getting his first car and on his own, he called me in like 5 minutes to tell me the owner came to him and very rudely made statements to him and demanded him to leave for no apparent reason and made threats that he can cause him a lot of trouble. That will spread fast in my community in Northville and surrounding area. And I will be reaching to people of influence in Northville about your business and the reviews that are bad for Northville Township.

Nice car wash. Love the final rinse. Don’t even need to dry the vehicle afterwards, no water spots! I occasionally have issues getting change from the machines. It seemingly will reject normal dollar bills with no folds or creases. Bring your own quarters.

I love ❤️ this car wash! I will drive for that good stuff and am loyal. I will not allow my truck to be washed ANYWHERE but here. This place is the best! First, when it’s cold, they close the front doors (smart), second they got that board on the wall right!!!! They products they use-it must be proprietary because after the soapy brush, it’s the wax, then rinse. I swear that made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. All the bays always work, the changer always works and even the cute guys are around on occasion! IF YOU HAVE A NICE CAR, go here, if you don’t have a nice car, GO HERE! This is the only place & I don’t even mind if I have to wait in line longer!

My boyfriend and I had come here a few times and had no complaints until this past weekend. We were just washing our car and this old man aggressively started drama and was threatening and completely inappropriate. He ripped a bucket out of my hand and threatened to call the cops because we were hand washing? I understand there is a sign we missed stating “no hand washing allowed” but the way this man approached us was foul. I can’t believe this is how someone runs a business. I’ve never left a negative review in my life but that man was out of control.

I’ve been coming to this car wash for years and it’s a nice coin car wash and well kept but the old man who I assume is the owner is completely disrespectful. I only post this after having had multiple encounters with this older guy over the years. The first one was about four years ago when I backed in to a stall when the doors where closed and on my way out slammed his hand on my door and and started screaming at me about how much his doors cost and how I will pay to replace it if I where to back into it which I didn't, and at the time there where no signs stating I couldn’t do it and he said he was going to put signs up, which he did. Still a completely out of line way to treat a customer that wasn’t even aware they were doing anything wrong. He also left a nice scratch in my 100 thousand dollar truck when he slammed his leather glove on my door telling me to stop. The second encounter was when me and my friend where washing the mud off are trucks after off roading and where rudely ask to leave because I guess you can’t wash mud off your truck at this car wash !!!??? The trucks weren’t that muddy either, the old guy could have at least asked nicely there is no reason to be rude. The third encounter was over this past summer I was washing my Huracan and the car is ceramic coated so I have to use a special soap so I bring my own bottle of soap in a little spray botttle with my hand mit like I always have, well the old guy was there this day and had a absolute hissy fit that I was hand washing my vehicle and said I’m not allowed to use my own soap, like isn’t this a car wash ???? I’m not using your crappy brush and soap on my 300 thousand dollar car. The moral of the story is the older guy who I believe is the owner is a lose connon completely rude, disrespectful and out of line. If there was another coin car wash around I would definitely go there but unfortunately this is the only one around so I’m stuck going there. So my advice is don’t go there or just avoid the owner at ALL COSTS!!! There are plenty of reviews stating the same thing so I’m obviously not the only one that’s experienced this. It’s quite a shame why own a business if you just hate your life and are rude to customers. I never treat my customers like that even on a bad day! This owner need to grow up and put his big boy pants on with a fake smile THATS PART OF BUISNESS!!!!!! lol. That’s my two cents hopefully you take it as constructive criticism instead of just gaslighting and denying your wrong doing like your other review replies. Thanks!

None of the vending machines ever work here and you can’t use your card, like every other self serve now, to add time/purchase anything else

I love this car wash. Like another reviewer mentioned a year ago, credit card machines would help. I had to leave and drive to a nearby gas station ATM to get cash and subject myself to a $3.50 ATM fee. Also, the towel dispenser machine stole my .50 because it was out of towels. Otherwise, I love the location and convenience. The spray gun as a lot of options, and the foam brush is soft and foamy.

Costs $2.00 to start 3 minutes. I generally pay an extra .75 to keep timer going. Best to use wash first, cycle entire car to get wet, go to foam brush for a quick side to side motion on panels and lower exterior- then finish on rinse. Need 1 min to rinse

I really like using this manual car wash. Front shutters are closed so it doesn't get so drafty in winter. Very thoughtful.

Decided to edit the review since the owner thought my previous response was to harsh, so here it goes. There's absolutely no indication of the proper way to exit or enter the car wash until pulling up to the stall and see a sign on it that says exit only. I saw no obvious signs stating you "exit only" or "enter only" from the road or in front of the driveway or around the building. Finally, the year is 2025 (my MAJOR COMPLAINT) there are absolutely NO card readers for debit/credit card. I don't care if its 50 cents cheaper than you're competitor. Actually no one should care, because if you are hurting over 50 cents then you shouldn't be paying to take your car to a car wash anyway. People rarely carry cash these days and rarely use it, and anyone who is forced to use cash usually puts the change in a donation/tip jar. Its absurd to think I will take time out of my day to go find an ATM to pull cash from. The gas require to do that alone will be more than the "50 cent savings" AND if its not my banks ATM then I'm taking on an ATM fee that is MOST CERTAINLY greater than a "50 cent savings". No one I know likes carrying cash or change. This business is clearly unwilling to adapt to a change in culture to cater to the next generation of payment. My 60 year old father only uses apple pay, and does not like carrying a card and most certainly hates cash. To claim to be the best car wash in the south east Michigan is arrogant and down right incorrect. I've been to car washes in metro Detroit that had a $1 flat rate where adding time was the same cheap flat rate as the starting rate. This car wash isn't offering that option for those that just need a quick rinse and they most certainly aren't even offering the convenience of a card. IT is no where NEAR the best even in the Plymouth/Northville, so it most certainly isn't the best in south east Michigan. You're welcome...

Changing my review to a 5 star positive review as the owner Jim left me a message that resolved the issue. I will continue to patronize the car wash on a regular basis.

It looks that new owner took over this business? I was preparing car wash and the owner kept walking around me and was watching what I was doing. I was taking out floor mat and held the brush and scrub a few times after I sprayed wheel cleaner. He asked "Did you put coins? and you should put coins to start car wash' I answered "I will put coins as soon I finish prep' He said again "Brush will wear out if you scrub without bubble" Owner won't allow me use brush without putting coins. Anyway it does not make sense at all at least to me.

Really well maintained self-serve car wash, that I'll take the time to drive to. Great pressure. Love the soap brush. Only 50c/minute. There are two coin changers and they will take bills bigger than singles. I grabbed a couple of blue towels from the vending machine. There are other items for interior use - wipes, sprays and air freshener trees. I've always found it well stocked. And it's nice having vacuums nearby too.

I hate leaving one star reviews - especially for a local small business - but my last visit was very disappointing. While I was drying my car in a stall (with 4 of the 6 stalls sitting empty and no one waiting), an older gentleman who I assume is the new owner came up and very rudely told me to get out and move to the vacuum area to dry. His tone was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. After years of being a loyal customer, this kind of treatment makes me not want to return.

Been coming here for years, overall the wash is fine but it was the day before my daughter’s wedding and I wanted to get my car washed before the big day. I completed the wash and decided since the wash was completely empty to towel dry my vehicle inside the wash bay. The owner stopped me and asked me to follow him. I thought this was odd request since I didn’t know who he was, I refused. He proceeded to point to the sign outside the wash bay stating no hand washing, drying etc. I can agree I bent the rules but the confrontational way he treated me, as a 25 plus year loyal customer was insulting and I will never patronize that car wash again.

I will give a 5 star if??? I have been washing my black Cadillac since I bought it in this self car wash. The owner James is so polite and kind and I really like him but the older man is so rude that ask me to read the sign like I didn’t know how to read then told me He paid lots of money for those signs…so, I was drying my vehicle in bay which I do quickly if I don’t see other customers and “ if see coming other customers then I get out to be polite”. I know this are rules which are hard to obey so I told him will no longer be using this car wash and I left… that’s why the missing star 🌟 otherwise this’s a fantastic car choo choo wash.

Great car wash the only issue I had was washing my car late night and the interior lights went off randomly with 1-2 mins left on my spray time. I barely was able to clean off the soap due to it being pitch black. I had to use my phones flashlight. There was no motion sensor or anywhere to turn it back on
