Large Home Depot. Huge wood department. Purchased some 2 x 4s x 6 feet long pieces. High-quality selection. Helpful employees. Organized & clean store. Seen lots of people asking questions, where is this & where can i pick up that.. Employees are very helpful & professional. Know what they are talkin about. Lots of employees at key positions.. check out, return desk, on floor. Well run company. Parking was busy. Garden area super busy on a sunny day. Loading dock was packed w customers loading trucks for home / work projects. Busiest store in area.

Terrible experience at the Home Depot in Salinas. Entered the paint department to purchase paint at 11:15 Jan 15. Two associates working, neither one would acknowledge my presence or even look my way. Standing less than three feet from me one associate was staring straight ahead, would not make eye contact or say anything. The second associate standing six feet from me decides to stretch, looking away from me, wouldn’t make eye contact or say a word, then decided to walk away and ask a customer who had just appeared if they needed help. The last time I’ll shop at a Home Depot, rude is too small a word to use to describe these individuals.

I needed some locks re-keyed and after some outrageous quotes from other sources I remembered that Home Depot does them in the rental department of the store.Apparently only a handful of employees have acquired such skills, so I did have to wait until he was on the schedule. The employee that helped me was Mark who works in the rental department not only was he very friendly, but patient as well as the job isn’t a very expensive job, but does take a few minutes of concentration as he was helping me. He was also helping his fellow coworkers Home Depot should be lucky to have such a great employee. 👍🏼💪🏼

Very helpful staff this morning. Price came up wrong on two of the same large item that was on sale, but the associate corrected it timely. Also had an associate assist with loading and he was very courteous and friendly.

Needed to get an oscillating Milwaukee tool for a jobsite I’m on. Saw a deal on the app to buy a grinder kit and get one for free. I needed the oscillating tool today and I was fine with shipping the grinder to my house. Guy said it couldn’t be done. Really? 400$ transaction and it can’t be done? I find that hard to believe. Worker seemed apathetic and lazy to me. I’ll take my money elsewhere and let you get back to playing on your phone.

I asked multiple employees where the lawn mowers were onnthe aisles. Only the last employee was correct and once I found the section, aisle and item I was looking for it said ,” Ask an employee for assistance “! So why couldn’t any of them show me where the heck it was and have knowledge to know that a lawn mowers customer would need assistance probably cuz the store knew it was to freakin big!

I few days ago I was using the self service kiosks ,and this young lady ,and young man standing in this section made me feel very uncomfortable standing so closely to me making sure I scanned everything in my cart. I felt I was being profiled . Yet there there was a white person at that same location checking out and they were not being watched at all b/cI stood there for several minutes that day before a checked out kiosk was available for me to use. I'll be shopping at Ace Hardware and Amazon for most stuff from now on!

I went to pick up an online order for some wood, and was instructed to park by the entrance so that it could be loaded into the vehicle. The vehicle was never left unattended, but at least 5 workers came to announce with a speaker phone to leave the area... where I was told to load the items. Instead of gathering information about the situation or assisting with the order pick up, they all decided to just stand and watch.

I love this Home Depot. I recently moved to a location where the Salinas one is now the closest. I’ve been buying a lot of wood lately and every visit some employe has asked if I needed help. The employees attitude and customer service is excellent.

Pretty disgusting for adults that work at this place. I called to ask question about location of the special order lockers at their facility. No one answered the phone for a half an hour. Adults shouldn't work like this. I'm going to call the home Depot vice president of operations.

The workers accused my mother of stealing even though she be working her self off and has NEVER stole anything but you people wanna blame your employees because you can’t keep your security in check you bunch of lazy people wanna blame others for your problems and can’t keep security in check at all.

Hi approximately arrived at the store at 9:20 pm. I ended up getting a electrical cart. So i explained to one of the workers on what exactly I was working on at home. He explained to me the areas to picked up the materials in the store. So i went to the Garden Department picked up 12×12 bricks. So i stopped at the paint department & i was assisted and got exactly the color I needed to get for the home project. Home Depot team members were very helpful and thank you to help me in getting the right material for project. Outstanding job. I loved to see that a crew was about to start work and they were doing their stretches good protocol it helps to prevent any work injuries keep up the good work Salinas Home Depot crew. Today 08/30/2022 Went to buy 12×12 bricks, water hose male & female ends, paint sample, & I had bought online from Home Depot defiant lock set took it in went to the Department Of Rentals and spoke to a guy named Albert he was able to rekey the lock set thank you Jason for all the help it was very appreciative I do have a walking cane so when Jason help me with my 12x12 bricks and loaded them in my car and also verified my receipt that I purchased them I really appreciate it him and Albert for the help that they had given me I installed the lock set here's a picture thanks Home Depot in Salinas California always there for me when it comes to my projects at home.

We needed 7 more railroad ties for one thing the price went up 5 dollars in a couple of weeks in Watsonville home depot we had three young men helping us load them the next time they didn't have them so we went to Salinas no help but there was a big guy that worked at home depot going through the trash looking for recycling

I've done so much business here. I love Debbie and Yolanda in appliances. Jason Orona is one of the most helpful and friendly people I've ever met. You will find him collecting carts in the parking lot and throughout the store. I will continue to call this my local Home Depot. :)
