I recently bought a car and was in need of a good tint job, so I decide to google tint shops in Salinas. First result that came up was Grease Monkeys Customs, I read the reviews and felt confident enough to make an appointment. I call and make an appointment the next day. I come in for my appointment and am greeted by a wonderful lady who walked me through the tinting process as well as answering any questions I had. I was also offered a shuttle service which was able to drop me off at home. The work was done in about 2 hours and the shuttle was also offered to pick me up. When I arrived I was greeted by the owner who to my surprise told me he had worked on the car personally, he explained to me all that they had done and all the instructions I should follow for a clean result. All in all they did a fantastic job and definitely deserve the 5 star rating, they definitely went above and beyond my expectations, I look forward to doing business with them again.

Got my windows tinted and left feeling like I got a brand new car. Gabriel did a really good job and made me feel like I was in good hands. Tint looks super nice and they left my car looking nice and shiny. Lorena (I believe that was her name) who works in the front was also very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend coming here. Very good work and customer service.

Very good customer service. Got my car re tinted cause the last PLACE I went to was horrible. They have different price range tints that accommodate your price range. My car was tinted over a year ago and still looks beautiful. No bubbles or air pockets. Love this place! Thank u Gabe!

This star rating isn’t good enough for the experience that I had here. My tint job was perfect. Gabe went over the job, after they were done, to make sure I was satisfied with what I got. They helped me with the issues that I was having with my stereo and fixed it, no problem. This is really the one stop shop to take your car. There’s a reason that this place has such good reviews. Thank you to the GM crew for the great experience.

Took my scratch car window to get fixed, it took more work than they initially anticipated. However they took really good care of it and didn’t stop working on it until they gave it their absolute best. Staff was friendly and shop was clean, place looked really professional. Overall would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for great customer service and great work on their car.

The best experience, always. From walking in, Lorena, always greets you with the warmest welcome. Gabe is a true professional with an impeccable eye for detail. I’ve taken all of my cars here and from detailing to dent and paint repair, they always leave my cars in pristine condition. They work on every car like it’s their own and I always have my full trust in them. I’ve taken my car to other places in Salinas and surrounding areas out of convenience and trust me when I say it is worth setting up an appointment at Grease Monkeys. I won’t go else where. I was impressed with this company the moment I walked into their doors! The location was clean and well maintained, both inside and outside. The associates were engaging and greeted me in a pleasant and friendly manner. They asked questions to determine how they could best assist me, and listened carefully to my needs. I made an appointment to have my vehicle treated to remove cigarette smoke residue from the previous owner of the vehicle. When I picked up the vehicle I was so happy to be able to enter the vehicle and not smell any smoke residue. I was assured that if the smoke smell returned they would do another treatment to make sure that I was happy. I was also greeted pleasantly by the manager upon arrival to pick up my vehicle, and let him know how happy I was with the job that was done and the customer service that I received. In an age where customer service has been treated like an archaic principle of the past by many companies, this company has renewed my faith that customer service is still alive and well.

I took my car in to have the windows tinted and it came out perfect. I've had numerous people tell me how professional the job was done and I agree! I love how it looks and the protection the interior is getting from the sun. The car stays so much cooler now. While there I was given information about a process used to protect my car's paint from a wide variety of ways it can be damaged. I plan on having this done soon. We discussed ways to customize the interior and exterior that I hadn't thought of before and plan on looking into. I will definitely be taking my car back to Grease Monkeys to have them make the car uniquely mine.

Took my son's car and it has been the worst detail job in a sport car that I ever seen. The paint color does not march original one and I am not an expert and you can see feet away that it is not the same color. Took for ever to repair it and the manager and staff are super rude. They bribe that they are the best but the only thing they are the best is on overcharging price for repairs. PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, WORST NIGHTMARE AND EXPERIENCE! RUN AND TAKE YOUR CAR AT ANOTHER REPUTABLE SHOP THAT WILL TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR JOB AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY WHEN THEY MAKE A MISTAKE. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR, I WOULD. UPDATE: We are still waiting for the call to take the car in. They reach out to saying that it was going to be fixed. Still waiting to the date. Maybe February 29?? Who knows. Do not believe everything they say or promise. 0 star review.

Came to get headliner cleaned and they did a terrific job. workers are very friendly and courteous. rapid service and great prices. Don't waste your time anywhere else. Gabe and his team did a wonderful job working on my car. PREVIOUS SHOP: I recently took my car to do all my windows and lights for a tint job here in town, without doing my due diligence on tinting credibility I just took it to any shop I saw. and what a surprise the job was amateur and horrible. EXPERIENCE: I had to take it in about three (3) times and boy the result was always the same "BAD". HOW I FOUND GREASE MONKEYS: I searched around for a creditable shop in town and already brought me to "Grease Monkeys" web page. Not only they took good care of me as a client but they cared for my car like it's their own. Gabe was very helpful on communicating with you throughout the process of the job. He kept me assured that my car was in good hands. Once they finished.. WOOW was I impressed with their work. My car didn't looked the same and the job was impeccable. TRUST is something earned and boy did Grease Monkeys earned my Trust that day! Small or big jobs theirs nothing Grease Monkeys can't do. I will definitely be coming back to get all my car needs done.

I took my car in to get a quote for an engine & under body wash I had been frustrated and overwhelmed dealing with 2 mechanics, i felt like I just kept pouring money into my car… Erick and Johnny noticed my frustration and gave me a hug and I immediately started weeping.. they promised to help me and get my car done. They understood i was struggling they gave me such an affordable price but was started with me was the compassion and empathy they showed me. I came to pick up my car and not v only did they do a great job at the engine wash but they took the time to detail the interior of my car and wash it. I didn’t even recognize my car.!! These are good people! Thank you Erick! Such a great young man! And thank you Larry for offering us a ride prior to my vehicle being done s I my son and I didn’t have to walk!!
