Thank you so much Jonté for you help. My husband and I were lost and could not find the vaccum section in the store. Luckily, Jonté came in and saved the day. Thank you so much!

I am a business owner. I came into your store to buy Milwaukee M12 and M18 work lights. Several of them. I cannot physically touch the box or read the back of any of the boxes, because you have them all locked in a cage. Your way of combating theft is to treat everyone like a criminal rather than actually deal with the real criminals. I am done. I am 100% done. This item will be ordered on Amazon along with every other item from now on. You're digging your own grave

Home Depot is my choice for big box hardware and home fix-it supplies. However, their website is not accurate for the water valve I needed. Website said one in stock; actually zero in stock and the part number was not even listed on the shelf. This required a drive to the North Salem store which showed 8 in stock and I picked up the one I needed. Note: I have been burned before when checking on-line inventory at other stores and only ONE was in stock. Of course, this requires unplanned trips when I got to have it now.

Went in today looking for some odds and ends for my business. Had the most wonderful experience because of a worker named Khrystina! She was above and beyond helpful and turned a bad day into a great one!

2 rentals both didn't as told. Worked in store without a hose but not with one at home. How is a sump pump supposed to work if I can't attach a hose? I water moved out of the crawlspace not a water feature. Done with Home Depot. Won't miss them

I have been to Home Depot several times but my last experience was a testament to why I prefer Home Depot over Lowe’s or other stores. I actually needed to buy some paint. I called up the store and they picked up quickly and answered my questions and told me exactly where to go. I go there and the guy at the paint section helped me pick after understanding my needs and overall project. They weren’t trying to upsell at any point. Genuine customer service and I am satisfied with my purchase

Tom is awesome! Gave me excellent advice and solutions to a sticky plumbing dilemma and helped me load a huge countertop and safely tied it in my car. I appreciate him!

Christina in the customer service center is the best! My truck broke down in Salem when I was passing through and I had some questions about a product to help get it running again- she was very helpful and kind. Definitely made my day 1000% better! Thanks girl!

Bought a product at regular price and right after the price went down. Came to the customer service desk the called someone I was hoping they would honor a piece match but it was denied. Pretty frustrating when the item bought goes on sale and they won’t price match even after I was told I could the night i purchased. Makes having a credit card with Home Depot pretty pointless if they can’t even price match within the first 30’ days if the item goes on sale.

It's hit and miss with the employees and their customer service. I have had a few nice, helpful people so I gave 2 stars. Policy i have ran into with giving me store credit only is ludicrous. I made a return and they decide to give me a card that can only be used in person, not online. I'm trying to politely work with them to order items out of stock from other stores. Next renovation on a house, $30,000 will not go to Home Depot. They have lost me.

I bought my husbandia a Husky 12 drawer toolbox. When I got it home, we realized it had a couple of big dents on it. I called them and they said "no problem, just bring it back and we'll exchange it for a new one". Christina is the person that helped me and held onto the new toolbox until I could get there the next day. I appreciate her great customer service and care. Thank you

Yesterday, January 6, 2026, I visited the Hagers Grove, Salem Oregon store. I dreaded the experience, because, in the past, it has been hard, NO, nearly impossible to find a store associate, who was willing and able to offer the slightest bit of help! BUT, yesterday was different! I am 80 years old, and the store is SOOOooo big, that I use the battery operated "scooters" supplied by the store! I had about 5 items to shop for, and, needed to use the restroom! I was shopping for clear mailing wide tape, and Duck Tape. I encountered a lady in PAINTS, She helped me with my selections, in a very helpful, and friendly way! She also gave me the Row number of the next item. As I started to drive away, the battery on the scooter had died. I asked her name, and, I believe that she said "Crystalfena." Or, something close to that. This amazing lady, pushed me, on the scooter to the restroom door, then, went to find me a scooter with more battery!! As I finished, another very friendly, kind younger gal brought me a working scooter! But I didn't catch her name. THEN, after finding all of my items, plus some, got to the cashier.....another friendly, helpful, kind person, named Adelina. My Experience at HOME DEPOT was AMAZING, because of these very special people! There were others, who offered their help in finding my items. I had asked for the manager, so I could give KUDOS to "Crystalfena", and she was pleasant, and helpful too! My shopping experience felt like I had unearthed hidden treasure! I have already told a couple of friends what my experience was, and will tell others as well! When you reach 75ish, you become invisible to almost everyone, but these people made a wonderful day for an older lady! THANK YOU!

Always have the supplies I need at an acceptable price. Staff is eager to assist in finding whatever I'm looking for. Its a great place, as long as you go in knowing that, just because they work there, doesn't necessarily mean that they are professionals. Attitude? Friendly & eager. Helpful? Mostly. Pricing? Decent. A decent stop for the average DIY-er AND contractors alike.

I appreciate that Home Depot gives Veterans a discount!! I went in to buy a shower head. There was a very good selection and prices equal with Costco. It's hard for me to go in certain aisles of this store because of the off-gassing of various products. In fact, I started coughing and lost my voice after being in the store. The employees are friendly and helpful. David, at the PRO checkout, was especially friendly and helpful.

I recently stopped by the Home Depot in Salem to pick up supplies for a backyard project, and I was genuinely impressed with the experience. The store was well-organized, and I had no trouble finding what I needed—from lumber and soil to some outdoor lighting. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. A staff member named Mike in the garden section went out of his way to help me load heavy bags of mulch into my cart and even gave me tips on how to keep my plants healthy through the colder months. At checkout, the cashier was friendly and efficient, which made the whole process smooth. The only downside was that the parking lot was a bit crowded, but that’s probably just a sign of how popular the store is. Overall, I left with everything I needed and felt well taken care of. I’ll definitely be back for my next DIY project.
