I think its funny. That the day corporate was there, the customer service was above and beyond. The moment they left it went back to its usual terrible service. You could barely find anyone to help you. They wont even make eye contact so u wont ask for help. I shop at home depot 3x's a day, 5 days a week and the service sucks. But its where we get the majority of our materials for work. I wish corporate was there everyday. Id rather go to lowes. They are nicer there.

I tried buying a z-turn lawn mower from the Ocala Home Depot store a few weeks ago. The day when I originally purchased it, I went to the store to go look at it. It wasn’t up front with all the other lawn mowers so I had to ask multiple employees where it was at and I kept getting sent to different location at the store until I was finally told, it was in the back and still had to be put together. I was then told if I were to purchase it I’d receive it the next day. So I proceeded to purchase it online. 9pm rolls around and the store calls me to tell me they are all out of stock of this lawn mower and they’d send me another lawn mower from a different store but it would take longer. I ended up calling the store the next morning and talking to a manager, asking what happened since I just had been in the day before and was told it was there. To make a long story as short as possible the lawn mower had to be pushed off to be delivered for a week later which wasn’t a big deal. The following week the day before it was supposed to be delivered the store called me to say it wasn’t going to be ready and they were sending me to another store and I would get it two days later… Two days later the next store calls me and tells me the exact same thing, at this point over a week prior they already charged me for the lawn mower but I still had no lawn mower and kept being told it was getting pushed off a few days. I called the Ocala store and they said they were sorry and they were going to upgrade my lawn mower to one I knew nothing about but it was supposed to be better than the one I originally ordered. So we decided to try it, got it a couple days later. When we got it, it was having a hard time starting and the following week when we went to mow again it wouldn’t turn on! I called the Ocala store again and told them what was going on, they said they would come pick up the lawn mower and once they received it they would call us right back to figure out what to do next. Well it’s been a week since they took the broken lawn mower and they haven’t bothered calling to fix their mess up. It has been a nightmare few weeks trying to buy a lawn mower from them. I can say with confidence, I will never be purchasing from Home Depot again. Do better.

Bought a pallet of 80 pound concrete and was loaded at the end of our 16 ft trailer. When asked if they could load it more in the center they refused and stated that they couldn't. Mind you this is the second time this happened and an older gentleman stepped in to help and he got it were i asked for. This time they just refused.

nothing more irritating than being told to leave an aisle because they're going to shut it down for God knows how long but do they offer assistance to help you find things no that's happened to us before this time we refused to leave the aisle until we found what we was looking for do you think the worker new know he had to get another worker that did not know either but at least the young man that was shopping in that aisle knew exactly what we needed! things to fellow shoppers at least they know where things are wasted 2 hours here 😴

I had such a great experience at Home Depot thanks to Francisco (from garden center) ! My husband sent me in to pick something up, and honestly, I had no idea what I was doing or what I was even looking for. Thankfully, Francisco stepped right in, was incredibly patient, and guided me through everything with a smile. He went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed. You don’t always come across that kind of helpfulness and kindness—he was amazing! Thank you so much, Francisco!

There is a notice at the self check out that they are rounding up to the .05 since they aren’t going to make penny’s on 2026 . If you use cash your penalized for something that hasn’t even happened yet! So you will be charged more for same product! It bad enough I already have to do the cashiers job for them!! I won’t be back! These big box stores have gotten to big so they no longer care about the customers! It’s for my convenience they are going to charge me more😂😂😂

Proper signage for locating Most items. Decent pricing, but in smaller parts, check that you get is exactly what you need for repairs. Many lazy shoppers toss items into any bin. Inventory is messy. Store looks good, but needs straightening.

CINDY greeted us immediately as we entered and asked us if we needed help finding anything. She took us to our items and was a pleasure. I being retired from home depot found it comforting knowing there are still some caring associates still helping people as I did for 21 yrs. Even the associates at the service desk were EXTREMELY nice ...WELL DONE!!! whoever is the manager here I commend you....you have some great associates. Makes me happy to shop here...and CINDY...THANK YOU FOR HELPING US!!!!!

I went to Home Depot last night in Ocala desperate to find the right part to hook up my new gas range. I had spent all day trying to get my new oven working after mine broke. I really needed the right parts as I am hosting Thanksgiving today. I had been to multiple stores and nobody either could help or would help. We were in Home Depot less than 5 minutes and we had three gentleman all trying to help us. I wish I knew all of their names but ultimately Bob (I believe his tag read Robert K) solved our problem. He is extremely knowledgeable. He really took the time to figure out what we needed and was so unbelievably kind. I was almost in tears from the frustration of the day but Bob had me walking out of the store feeling much better because of his kindness and persistence. Home Depot is lucky to have him and other two lovely gentlemen that helped us. I can't thank them enough. Because of them Thanksgiving was saved!

I am a frequent customer at this Home Depot location, and I felt it was important to share an experience I witnessed today. An employee named Ms. Carol, who was working in the speed line, stated that it was “free lollipop day.” However, I observed that she only offered free lollipops to Caucasian children and did not offer them to mixed children or children of color who were present. Whether intentional or not, the visible difference in treatment was disheartening and noticeable to those around. Small gestures can have a big impact on children, and it was upsetting to see some kids excluded. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed appropriately.
