Unauthorized Charges and Zero Communication ’m extremely disappointed with Take 5 Car Wash. I used their car wash one time, paid with my credit card, and was shocked to find out they enrolled me in a monthly subscription without my consent, knowledge, or email confirmation. I never signed up for any membership, never received a receipt or agreement, and certainly did not authorize recurring charges. This is a shady business practice and feels like a scam. When I tried to resolve the issue, the process was frustrating and unhelpful. If you value your money and privacy, I highly recommend avoiding this place. Check your bank statements carefully if you’ve ever used your card here — who knows how many people they’re doing this to.

The wash ripped our taillight out of our new jeep wrangler. I notified the staff and the first fellow was great to deal with. He asked the manager to come out. The manager began blaming us for the light and inviting a physical altercation, dancing around the area asking if I wanted to fight, telling my wife he was gonna beat me down in front of her. When this started, we got in the car and left. I’d avoid this place at all costs. Unless you’d like to be invited into a fist fight in the parking lot by the folks running the place, in which case you’ve found your car wash!

The response below to my review is a joke. It makes it look like you care, but I didnt see any action. Your company fired all their customer service employees and that number goes nowhere. My review stands until you have a serious suggestion to remedy this: I was signed up for a membership without my authorization. I was advised to contact their customer care via email to attempt to cancel and obtain a refund, but I have not received a response. There will be more to follow. I'm not letting this go and yes, I am that petty over 22.00 per month. The wash is not that good anyways.

LOOK AT PICS! My wife and I went thru this car wash March 26 as we have many times before (I had an unlimited monthly membership). Upon exiting we pulled over to the detail station so I could dry off the windows. When I got out I saw bad scratches all over my truck. I went directly to the office and told them. I was told to come back the following day and speak with the manager and he would give me a damage claim. I went back the following 3 days before I finally spoke to the manager. He emailed me the damage claim and told me to get two bids from the body shops and email it to him. I took off work the following day and got the bids. There was over $12,000 in damage. I emailed it to him and he said he was submitting it to corporate and they would contact me within a cpl days. They never contacted me. After 2 weeks of trying to get ahold of them and getting nowhere I had to file it on my insurance.

had an unauthorized charge at Lomgview location and have been trying to get the problem credited for months. Folks in Longview gave me contact in Sulphur Springs , which I called and the lady said that she would help me and seemed interested in solving my problem. They never did follow up as promised with the partial credit they committed to and now wont respond at all. Sticking your head in the sand is bad business. Wont be going back there again.

I've had a membership for almost 2 years. Was great at the beginning but the services have steadily declined. Vacuums don't work. Wash isn't through, leaves bugs, bird waste, etc. Dryers no longer dry your vehicle at the end of the wash. Disappointing.

® We cancelled our membership on May 2 2024. I got a confirmation email that it was cancelled. It was Lantana carwash at the time, but Take 5 cancelled it and they are associated businesses. I still have been getting charged monthly. They do not respond to emails at customer support. I sent another on December 31st and January 19th. Still no respond. We sold the truck that had the tag on it, and it is required when you try to do anything online, so I am not able to stop the payment on line. They owe me credit for all of these months. I call and get the run around on the phone.
