After 1000 gravel and dirt miles in Missouri and Kansas I can say this is the best car wash in 1200 miles. Not spotless but it got the sand and gravel off my wife's Nissan Leaf.

Update: Been trying to cancel our membership since 8/15. I have emailed 8 times and called twice. We have now been charged twice since then and still can’t get anyone to cancel our membership. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this group. Bought a membership back in April because we were so impressed with how clean our truck was. Cancelled that membership today because our truck came out filthy. Won’t be back.

Had a definite five star experience at Take 5 car wash in Golden. Had 1,700 Mi of road grime and bugs, and decided to check this place out. The attendant saw the condition of my car and offered to let me run it through a second time if I wasn't satisfied. How cool is that? My car looked great after the second time and boy their vacuums really suck! Keep up the good work Take 5!

Have a fast pass and have for months. I’ve been getting my car washed here and today they stopped me and said I couldn’t use the car wash anymore. They said it was my fly fishing rod holder. It was never a problem when they sold me the fast pass nor any of the times I got my car washed in between.

Th staff is really nice. If your car doesn’t get properly washed, they offer complementary re-wash as well. And of course you get to clean interior of your car for free. Plenty of space too.

I just paid $22 to have my car washed. It’s still dirty after two trips through this utterly ineffective business. They must be paying people for these reviews. My car wasn’t even that dirty but just had to go through two separate times just to get bird poop off. There are water spots and dirty areas. I’d actually like management to contact me.

I have used Take5 in other places and genuinely loved the experience. However, this location was a disaster. I paid $22 for the single wash and my car still has streaks of dirt on it. The girl who scrubbed the front of my car also put the brush on the hood of my car- come to find out my car is completely scratched on the hood. I have never had damage from a car wash like this. My car is garage kept and barely driven so NO it was not scratched before. I will never return and I will be calling to take action on this as it is unacceptable. Don’t visit this location.

My experience with Take 5 Car Wash has been outstanding. A couple of months ago, I noticed the location was sometimes closed for repairs or maintenance. Since Dillon, the General Manager, took over, things have improved dramatically. The car wash has been consistently open, and everything works perfectly. I especially appreciate the extra step they take to wash my car mats with a power washer—it’s a great touch that helps me keep my new truck looking its best. I’m very grateful for the excellent service Dillon and his team provide.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This car wash badly damaged the paint on my new truck and the car wash is taking zero responsibility. They have gone down hill and do not maintain the brushes as they should.

Gets a pretty good was on my truck, just wish it covered the tailgate area with the rolling flaps. I like the strong vacuum suction and the air spray gun is nice to get all the water spots and help finish drying areas, and get all the tiny rocks out of the carpet especially if you have kiddos that ride in the back seat with the constant in and out of the truck. UPDATE with pics (Nov 2020) The first few washes were pretty good( as I purchased the $40 monthly package) but it seems the more washes I went through my satisfaction was disappointed. I've noticed little nicks and scratches to my vehicle, and I've started to notice water spots/soap spots that dry on as the car is guided through the dryers. I do still like the air spray gun and vacuum tho. Also, I have noticed that Black Diamond was always busy cars were constantly there but as of late it's been quite empty of vehicles.

Absolute garbage car wash, stay far away. The car wash malfunctioned leading the the car in front of mine getting stuck, and my car ran into it. They refused to pay for the damage or admit fault in any way even though it was clearly their fault. They stopped responding to any calls or emails and I ended up having to pay out of pocket. Garbage car wash, garbage people. Edit: if you need any further proof of how bad they are, the response below gave me a phone number for an automated line where it's impossible to talk to an actual human. They want me to fill out a form and they will "get back to me", which is what I dealt with for a full year as I tried to get them to pay for my repair. If for some reason Take 5 reads this edit and wants to ACTUALLY help me, feel free to give me the number of somebody that CAN ACTUALLY HELP ME.

Drive through car wash with different options to choose from. Free to use vacuums, towels, and glass and interior cleaners for after wash. * Note - There is an ownership change happening. The name will change soon and TBD as far as pricing and extras are concerned. Hopefully all pricing and services remain unchanged, but very skeptical it will. TBD.

I've been going to this car wash location since it was Black Diamond. The service was a lot better before and the workers really went out of their way to help you with something whenever you needed it. The facilities were cleaner previously too. Last week I brought my car in, got the $17 wash. It came out and still had a bunch of dirt and grime around the grill and side mirrors. I drove up again and asked if I could go through one more time but the Team Lead (younger female) told me that they only let vehicles that purchased the $22+ packages go through more than once. I've never had this issue with any other car wash I go to. Shouldn't it be satisfaction guaranteed for a service like this? The Team Lead was rude and smirked and told me that they don't give free car washes and asked me to pay again. I drive close to 20 minutes to get here from Arvada and have been coming for years but I guess it's finally time to find an alternative.

Update: Take 5 responded to my review asking me to call them, so I did. The number they provided looks like a local number, but it takes you to a menu where you can choose to speak to a representative. I did this, and was directed to an outsourced call center where the woman told me that since my claim was denied, there is nothing more that she can do. They truly have no interest in making this right. ---------------- Original Review: I got a membership to Take 5 Car Wash because I wanted to take care of my paint, not damage it further. Sadly, after taking my car through their car wash last Sunday, I discovered quite a bit of paint damage. I filed a damage claim with their employee, and received an email from corporate denying any wrongdoing. I am so disappointed that now my car is damaged, and they have no interest in making it right. After filing my damage claim, a man approached me in the parking lot to tell me his vehicle's paint was also severely damaged by their car wash, so apparently this isn't just a one-off. If you value your paint, I'd suggest steering clear.

I have been coming to this location since before it was a take 5, and tonight was the worst customer service I've ever seen. These teenagers were too busy flirting with each other, sitting on their phone, and not caring. They gave me the basic wash. When my membership is a premium wash. I am disabled, and was asking for more towels, and they made me go into the office to get more towels. I asked why there were no towels out, and they said it was because we they close in 10 minutes. They were over a dozen cars there looking for towels. Making disabled people walk in and do their job for them is not what we pay premium prices for and getting a car wash here. They gave attitude to everyone around us, and shut down the self-detailing station before they were closed. Other customers were in disbelief, and a few said it's fine. They don't need to come back. Maybe I don't need to come back either. That was appalling. It is broad daylight out, closing at 6:00 is not only not conducive to the working person, but the attitude these teenagers gave us was disgusting. Photo of all the cars still there when I left, and where customers were trying to put back their bottles and dirty towels even though the teenagers had already shut everything down, the timestamp of these photos is 5:58 p.m.

Always love leaving here with a freshly washed car! You do the detailing yourself as they have most of the cleaning materials for you, or bring your own. It’s quick, inexpensive and all of the staff is very friendly and professional. I will only take my car here; top notch quality and service in Golden

DON’T BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! I brought my new car here for its first wash, and the brushes left scratches all over the paint. They must not maintain the brushes. Needless to say this is a tremendous disappointment. I emailed management and am hoping they do something to help here. Either way, I would not recommend bringing your car here, as looking at past reviews, I’m not the only person this has happened to.

Like the wash and the features it provides. It’s close to home and work so it’s also convenient. One of my biggest issues is that I’m handicapped with a disability and can never use the ADA handicapped only parking. The employees always park in the handicapped spot. I brought this to the attention of one of the employees that was parked in the spot and he laughed it off. It’s not a one day issue, this happens all the time, see photos. Nice of your employees to disrespect the people that actually need those spots. They should be embarrassed to park in those spots, but it seems to be the joke @ the wash.
