My recent visit to Surf Thru Express car wash left me deeply disappointed and questioning the level of accountability within the establishment. Despite being a loyal member and paying for the Epic wash, I found bugs still clinging to my front window after two consecutive washes. Upon bringing this to the attention of the staff, I was met with a disappointing lack of accountability. Instead of taking responsibility for the oversight, I was offered a free wash within the next three days, which simply wasn't practical for me. Furthermore, the absence of management and the nonchalant attitude of the employee suggested a pervasive culture of avoiding accountability. As a loyal customer, I expect better. Sadly, it seems accountability is becoming a rare commodity these days. This experience has left me considering alternative car wash options.

I have gone through Surf Thru Express Car Wash dozens of times and never had any issues and have always been satisfied with my washes, I was even a member... until I went through the one in Visalia across from Costco. I am very particular with my car and am very aware of any imperfections. I went through that car wash and ended up with very fine scratches down the right side of my car and even into my tail light. I brought this to the managers attention as I could see it right away as I was drying it off. They took some pictures and called me in the next few days and said it was impossible for it to be their fault as they use soft materials to wash vehicles. Well, yes, that is very apparent. There had to of been something on their 'soft material' as I never had any issues before and went into this place without any scratches and came out with a ruined paint job. Lesson learned. If you value your car and your paint job, don't go to Surf Thru Express Car Wash. Zero stars, would not recommend.

DO NOT TAKE UR VEHICLE HERE TO GET IT WASHED!! their machines messed up my brand new truck. I was thinking everything's gonna be okay they have cameras etc., I was wrong. They refused to give me ownerships contact information, I filed a claim there ,only for the ownership to tell management to tell me the damage was already there! They don't want to release video footage to my insurance and refuse to make it right for their customers. I would think if you had video footage showing the damage was already there you would provide such to the insurance etc.? Very unprofessional establishments. And there manager there " Anthony" will lie to you with no care. AGAIN DO NOT TAKE UR VEHICLE HERE.

Horrible customer service. Machine did a terrible job of washing my car at night came back the next morning and they told me too bad. They will not rewash it for me. I have two monthly memberships and paid cash to wash my work car. I will be canceling all memberships and will never do business with this place again thanks Hector. Great job on your customer service and retention

Horrible place, do not go here. They will ruin your car permanently. I took my car thru the wash and it caused my parts of my car to have permanent damage, it caused these hard water marks that can’t be removed. Now my car looks horrible. I took my car to a few different car detailers in the area and they all gave me quotes north of $1000. I went and filed an official complaint after wash the same day, have called them various times, and have not got a response back yet. I definitely plan on taking them to small claims court. So please STAY AWAY from this place to save yourself all of this trouble.

Employees don't scrub my car very well before going in, and dryers don't dry my car well at all. My car is still very wet and soapy afterwards. Only thing I like is that there's more than 1 in town but I'm over it. Air fresheners smell good though. Same review a year later. #DoBetter

I'm paying for my monthly membership which just charged me 39.99 but I'm unable to wash my car because it says my membership was terminated. It just renewed May 22 and should be active til June 22 I've went through the car wash on 3 different occasions which they told me the issue still wasn't fixed. I've asked to speak with a manager but they aren't ever there. I asked for the name so I can try to get in contact with them but that's apparently a secret as "They can't give that information out". I've contacted guest services but I get no answers. I'm at a loss trying to understand how a company charges you for a membership you don't have access too.

No longer a fan of this place for everything they’ve discontinued. No more free washed if it rains the next day. I wouldn’t have washed the damn car if I had known that. No free air freshener anymore. They want $ for it. Prices go up and offerings go down. I’ll wash it myself for what they charge/offer!

It's a good car wash. This carwash company gets you in and out quickly. They also have free vacuums that you can use to vacuum out your vehicle. They watch how long you take up one of the spots after you have gone through the car wash. I would recommend this car wash since there are multiple locations, and this car wash is what my parents and I use.

I love my membership with surf through Express car Wash I am a regular I go at least three times a week the people there know me and they already have my cup of coffee waiting for me when I get to the entrance. They are so kind.

special card monthly, 9/10 no tire clean and shine, last and final time (stopped visiting there) because a dirty hood on my pick was not cleaned even with guys soap and water brushing. It’s not a work truck or driven very awesome!!! Next, pickup hood received an orange marking/ scratch on hood, lastly told staff and what are they going to do? Appears to me that wash equipment is mot maintained effectively for a quality washes each time!!!!!

People there are nice but if you get a scratch on your rim or car forget about it being fixed. I took a brand new car to get washed and the machine scratched my driver rim. I felt a jerk mid way through the wash. The owner deemed that it was there prior to the wash and would not be fixing anything. The vehicle was brand new, I’ve had a membership with these guys for almost a year now nothing happened to my prior vehicles up until this one. They give you no change of fighting the claim they just tell you the owner didn’t see anything so they can’t help to go through your insurance if you’d like.

I've been a member of this car wash but I'm going to be looking around for other car wash places in town. The young staff is friendly however I think the machines are getting old because oftentimes I have to drive my car through twice especially with bird poop because it doesn't come off also their brushes don't get all the grime off the bottom of your car doors.

Terrible experience! The supervisor Jay was extremely rude to my wife. When I tried to cancel they said I had to go online and do it myself self. They said it policy not to do it for me. When I asked to speak to the manager Jay said he wasn’t there ( approximately (7:40 pm). I asked Jay ( supervisor on duty who I felt was on a power trip) if I can get the managers contact info. Jay swell as every other employee there said it was policy not to give out that information. Not first or last or any sort of contact info. To me that seem extremely shady. If your doing every thing by policy or the law what does it matter if I contact you manger ( who was not on site during business hours) I explain to Jay that as of July first 2025 California passed Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), updated July 1, 2025, requiring businesses to provide an easy, same-method cancellation. I signed up in person and by law I was to be able to cancel in person. Jay along with all the employees there ( minus the manager because he wasn’t there) refused to cancel my membership stating their policy. ( even though that policy breaks California law). I will be contacting the bbb, consumer protection and the CA AG. The staff need to be trained on California law, customer service, and the manager need to be on duty during business hours. Otherwise you get a kid who is supervising other kids who goes on a power trip and is extremely rude to customers.
