The water hose disconnected after I put my money into the machine. Tried to find help but no one there. I want my $2.25 back SOLAR CAR WASH.

Basically exactly what you expect from a self service car wash. You can pay just a couple bucks and get a quick rinse, or spend more and get as much time as you need to spot shine your car. The price to start the sprayer recently jumped up another quarter, though.

The car wash stalls are huge! plenty of room and enough vacuums for more than 1 car. EXCEPT I bought a pack of lorna doones cookies from the vending machine and they no longer tasted like a Lorna doone, they had expired!..in July of 2021... but other than that great place to wash your car!!

Great place. Very hard to find self-serve car washes these days at all let alone ones that are kept up well, clean, and have a lot of space. If you're new to Solar just pull around back and you'll see all the queues. I love that there's a vacuum station outside for every indoor wash stall (each line has two indoor wash bays and two outdoor vacuum spots). Rates are good, timers are nice and loud and give you a minute warning to add more time so I've never had the "surprise" stop. Definitely my go-to place!

I highly recommend solar car wash to the DYI people. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because today when I got my car wash I used the the vacuum cleaner outside that took $1.25 and it was not working. I do love the fact that I can either get an automated wash with scrubbers or touch free or I can do it myself and do a very thorough job on the certain areas with their self service bays.

I’m new to the area and looked to find a nice car wash between work and home. Let me tell you this is the best self-serve carwash I have EVER been to. The bays were immaculately clean and the brush was too. Very affordable (light vacuum and wash for $10) and huge- no wait! They also have cans of soda for $0.75 which I love! Coin vending for bills up to $20 as well.

I still appreciate whomever that still have these cash wash (Do it yourself). Sometimes the automatic car washes at the gas station doesn't clean the car very well. Glad I found this one.

Owner approached me as I was trying to get changed to wash my truck. I had a few things in the back of the truck and he was watching me as I drove in so he knew there was stuff in the back of my truck. He said to me he goes you’re not gonna dump any of that stuff in the back of your truck and leave it here are , I said what I said you’re accusing me of dumping trash he goes. I’m not accusing you. I said I don’t need this. I’m gonna leave in the back of my truck. I had landscaping stuff a weed whip a gas can a mesh cover for when I bring mulch home, and a box with some tiedown straps in it the only thing trash in the was three pieces of plastic pecks pipe. I read another review that the owner complained that the trash bill was $600 and wanted the gentleman to take his trash with him. Don’t go to this place. This guy is an idiot when you clean your car out you’re gonna throw trash in the trashcan, I had no intention of leaving anything. I just wanted to get some of the dirt and dust off the outside of my truck, but I don’t need to be treated like an idiot patronize this guy.

This business values the cost of their utilities over your (customer) health. I'm bummed because of this experience, as I'd been here many times before and never had any experience with the employees or owners. Now I'll need to find a new carwash. STORY: When I went to wash my car today, as I started washing I kept smelling more and more cigarrete smoke filling the bays with the doors closed. The guys in the next stall were smoking. Having dealt with lung cancer previously, I absolutely do not want this again so I opened the doors to let it out. Not too long after, a lady (either employee or owner) came over and proceeded to ask me about the opening of the doors. (apparently she noticed the cold but didn't care about the smoke?) I then told her that they guys next to me were smoking and I'd dealt with lung cancer before and didn't want to do it again. She simply just repeated her whole thing about how heating is expensive and asking me to close the doors (essentially for the 2nd time disregarding the smoking, and now any concerns for health). I get your bills for heating are expensive, but I assure you it won't be as much as the medical cost for cancer treatment, nor am I willing to potentially lose my life to cancer since you care more for the $$$. If heating bills go up, they (business) can simply raise prices and all the customers would be have to absorb it, but if my medical bills skyrocket dealing with cancer I know for a fact this lady would do everything she can to avoid paying for it. I only wish upon this person exactly as she does to others. 13MAR2025: I was not wiping down my car, I never do. I was only trying to wash my car but the person next to me kept smoking inside so I was trying to open the door for fresh air. I’m 40 years old so if you think I look 20, you’re probably not remembering me correctly. I told you to your face there was smoke in there at that moment and you dismissed my concern. And only commented on the cost to you of having the door open.

Not busy. Each garage door fits 2 vehicles with enough washing clearance without getting over spray from another car. They even have one high rise bay for taller/lifted vehicles. It's enough clearance for my 9ft high vans, but im sure what the maximum clearance height is. The place isn't busy on Tuesday morning between 10am to 11am. $2.25 to start a wash around roughly 3min 30 seconds. Definitely recommend if you do not have your own pressure washer, but do not trust machines to wash your vehicle. 5 star for self-wash. 5 star car wash. 5 star business.

It was clean, quiet and everything works properly.. the tenant was well-mannered and information. The unit that I washed my car in was solid and everything worked properly. Nice place to do it. If I could trust my car here I don't see why you could not either.

Great place to self service car wash your vehicle. Pricing is great. Water pressure is awesome! The suds are none ending and the time for the pricing is perfect to get it done within the time frame. Need extra time throw in a couple extra coins and it will extend the time as well. The place is clean and very well kept. Very nice to have trash bins to throw in your vehicle trash. The vending machines all work. The vacuum works great too. I notice they have an automatic car wash bay but will try it next time I’m there.

Typical do it yourself carwash. I only give it three stars as it is very outdated. You can use tokens or quarters only. The timer seems to run out a lot faster than other washes. I used up $5 and still had suds, didnt get to the wax. There are no grates on the water channel that is under the car, I damb near sprained my ankle when I accidentally stepped into it. I didn't hate the place, but it might be worth driving further away for a better wash.

Clean and quiet, with everything in good working order. Very pleasant experience. I paid for my wash with a card, which was convenient. The vending machine with the towels and such is awesome. I vacuumed out my vehicle and grabbed a couple microfibers while I was waiting for the bay to open up, and the timing lined up perfectly. Nice clamps to use for washing floor mats. Pressure is excellent, great amount of suds, everything works as it should.

My car didn't get as clean as I thought it would but I like that I was about to service myself the machine needs some updating but work satisfied for the most part. Be patient if you go here and take your time to clean your car.

Heated stahl's yeah whatever the only thing that's keeping that place hot is the steam coming from the lukewarm water gun. They don't want you to wipe down the vehicles inside the stall because they're greedy and want more cars flowing through the faster but yet they don't have a air blower. If you want a real car wash go to the car wash company they have a couple around the twin cities and they're awesome they're minimum is $1 they have 59 cent Tuesdays they also have an air blower. Yeah this place is a one-and-done for me never again.

Probably the best self service car wash I’ve been to. The bays are heated and have a tandem set up. Bays are enclosed with garage doors on entry and exit. Each bay has floor mat hangers a tire/wheel brush and water gun. The only thing missing is an air blower/compressor to help dry the car. Also spoke to the owner who seems like a nice guy.
