Vacuum hoses need maintenance (you're vacuuming and suddenly the hose tube disconnects) and the vacuum cleaner pressure is super low! I was looking for a worker to let them know the issue, but find no one or a text number to notify or something, but nada 🤷🏻♀️

I had an amazing experience at Soapy Joe’s thanks to Fatima! From the moment I pulled up, she greeted me with a warm smile and positive energy that instantly made my day better. She went above and beyond to make sure I understood all the wash options, answered every question I had with patience, and even took the time to make sure my car got extra attention where it needed it. Fatima truly sets the bar for excellent customer service. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience the way she does. Great car wash, Karlo is always helpful when I run into him. Vacuums are sometimes down, but are repaired by my next visit. Lot of familiar faces in the staff. Clean towels ready to go, even with the high volumes of business!

The employees at this Soapy Joe location are helpful and patient. The car wash is well maintained. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that there's often a line to get in, or there's sometimes a wait for a vacuum once you get out.

I took my 2023 VW Atlas to this location for the first time in October and upon exiting the car wash, I noticed white spots all over my car and glass when drying my vehicle. The manager wrote up a report, but per usual, the car wash denied it was their issue and will not let you view any videos. I tried filing an insurance claim but the cost to get the spots removed is less than my deductible so now I get to pay out of my own pocket to fix it. Unless you want to have your vehicle damaged and pay for it on your own pocket, I would avoid this place at all costs!

I started at 6675 El Cajon location but ventured out to try other soapy Joe locations near me. Found the people at El Cajon so much more helpful. Loading a new car onto the belt can be challenging if you are new to the car and the Soapy Joe facilities. So after trying several others I'm coming back to El Cajon because the Personnel are so helpful. Giving an audio indication to put your car in neutral is an extra precaution and help. It would be great if the employee loading the car could say 👂put your car in neutral. The timing may not work for Soapy Joe facility like it does at Costco. Soapy Joe's offers a lot for the $$ and I'm going to give it a good try.

Soapy Joe’s on El Cajon Blvd by SDSU delivered. The place was clean. The staff was on point. I had my dog with me and the small grassy area made it easy for her to hang out while I handled the wash. Sharon checked me in and took my card. She was friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to her. Karlos was walking around asking how everyone was doing and making sure people were taken care of. Both of them made the stop solid. Service was smooth. Facility was clean. People were helpful. I’ll keep coming back because of staff like Sharon and Karlos.
