Stopped in for a car wash, the brush had lots of trees leaves all over my car, soap wasn’t enough car still looked dirty from both sides and back !

Visited late August in the touchless bay. $8 and my car was still so dirty I was able to draw a stick figure in the dirt on the driver door. I am writing the company for a refund. Probably never hear from them but if I do, it will change the "one star" rating I gave them. I do not recommend.

October 2024: My wife went here to wash her car, and it took her cash and did not activate the wash bay. This place is now officially the worst car wash in Hanover. Worn-out equipment and no maintenance. Review update April 2024: Prices went up a few dollars for each wash. I am not surprised by this. However, I really hope that money is going to be put back into the car wash since the equipment seems to be getting pretty worn out at this point. I always use the soft touch bay, and it misses spots on my full-size truck constantly, especially on the hood. The brushes look very worn and have left some smudge marks in my white paint as well (those marks do rub off with my finger, but still). The sprayer nozzles don't seem to be working very well anymore either since there is hardly any soap being used, and the undercarriage wash when you drive in has no real pressure at all. I guess it might be time to buy a monthly subscription to one of the three fancy new automatic washes that have been built in town. I don't know how this place is going to survive if they don't refurbish the place. At a bare minimum, clean the place up and take some pride in your business. Replace the seriously deteriorating signs and clean or replace important parts like the soft touch brushes. Original review from 2019: Soapy Joe's is where I go when I want an automatic wash that I know will be consistently good. Other auto washes in town can be hit or miss, literally, they miss spots on the car. This place has always been consistent and the prices are on par with all other in town except Grandview which has raised their prices outlandishly. Only ever had one issue here and that was when it first opened, since then I can't come up with a single complaint.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Paid $15 for the “best wash”, and my car is just as dirty as when I pulled in. Really frustrating when I’ve been wanting to get my car washed for weeks and finally have the time, just to go here and this be the case. I’d been better off washing it myself at this rate. Y’all are a scam honestly.

Don’t bother, this place does not refill their consumables. Shampooer and fragrance machines have been out for months but still taking people’s money.
