★★★☆☆ If you want a deal at Smith's, on many items, you must know their advertised prices, quantities required to get their advertised deal, and often by clipping their virtual coupon on their app. I do not enjoy clipping virtual coupons to get the best deals or being required to tell the cashier the correct price. I like it best when the price rings up with the best possible deal without having to use an app or clip virtual coupons. That seems more fair to every citizen. Another Example: You must carefully review signs in all stores when an advertised price is only offered if you buy a certain quantity. Stores requiring this hold customers hostage to know all the correct prices & quantities, and/or by clipping coupons electronically if you desire the best deal. Plus you must pay close attn to the smaller print on signs that may says "only when you buy quantity of 3, etc" Stores make the most profit if you as a customer fail to know advertised prices in order to get the best deal, or by clipping a virtual coupon. Oh yes, Smith's will fix it if you know the price, or go back to the service desk, and/or buy the required quantity. Often, with you catching it after the fact, and then I've seen it where Smith's service desk clerk failed to refund the tax involved on the overcharge. There's a lot of trickery involved in marketing strategies on how stores make profits. Let's all hold the stores responsible for treating each citizen fairly without the hype of an electronic device, and/or, by giving our loyalty to stores not requiring an electric device to get the best deal.
