Pumps dont have automatic stop so gas will spill if tank is full. They steal your gas

Got robbed while putting gas on 2/9/21 around 215am -230am. Thug waited and came from apartment building. Claimed to be a blood. Literally nobody was around for those 5 minutes. Clerk probably sleeping.

I ask the guy to make me use the restroom after I bought gas and food and cigarettes , then he said we don't have a restroom, this is not right! I am from out of town just like many other people on the road.

Since day 1 of being a resident of Downey, the staff is so friendly and cordial. All other reviews I'm pretty sure are just transients, no Downey residents, and of course will leave negative comments as they are not happy. 10* Rating in my book.

FALSE ADVERTISING! This shell has 4.99 Unleaded 1 posted on its digital board but in reality it is $5.169 (with fuel rewards). I feel like they’re doing this to bring in/attract customers but still man this ain’t right.

Stopped by to put air in tires on my way to work. Staff was super nice, they actually went outside and put the air in my tires! Thank you Shell. Hope other gas stations step up their cuts svc.

Stopped by early morning before 5 am. Asked the teller (Jesse) to use my phone number for my fuel rewards. Paid cash and pumped gas just to find out he didnt use my fuel rewards. Missed out on 25 cents off per gallon. When i tried to complain he just said i didnt have any poonts. I went to a pump near by, entered my number and still had 25 cents off. I showed him and he didnt care and was very rude. Very bad servuce

Google shows you the cash price but heads up - the credit price is TWENTY CENTS more than that! Not worth it! Plenty of pumps though.

Spent about 30 minutes waiting for an employee in full shell uniform to finish detailing his car even though the signs say vacuum only. He looked right at me several times and even made several trips inside to buy air freshners. Never washing my car or pumping gas here again.

I recently purchased a car wash for ten dollars inside the store. I received a complimentary and microfiber towel with my purchase, which was an excellent luxury. As far as the machine goes, everything is what you'd expected to be. Except the driver's side rear brush is extremely aggressive. It pushes way harder into the vehicle than the other 4 brushes. That needs to be adjusted before it causes damage. One thing I really liked was that you get over a minute of dryer time, and you go through at your own pace. If they just adjusted that one brush, you would have a pretty solid car wash operation!

The pump is funky. First it only charged me for .8 cents, then it’s automatically stopped at 7 gallons when I wanted to fill it up. I was on empty and wanted to fill it all the way up.
